FA40/FA70 Setup Guide

FA40 and FA70 Setup with NAVPILOT 300
FA40/70 can be setup by using three different methods. You can use a NAVpilot 300,
TZtouch2/3 or use a PC with the FA40/70 AIS Setting Tool software. The following
instructions are for setting up the FA40/70 by using a NAVpilot 300. To set up the
FA40/70 using either a PC or TZtouch2/3, please see separate instructions.
Access the NP300 Installation Menu by quickly pressing the STDBY 3x’s quickly while
the Menu key is depressed.
Select [FA-70]
Select [Initial Setup]
Select [Ship Static]
Enter MMSI
(cannot be entered for FA40)

Enter Call Sign and Ship Type
Enter Cargo Type
Select [Antenna Position
(GNSS)]

Hit Menu several times to return to the NAVpilot stanby screen when entry is completed.
