II Introduction
Wireless highand lowvoltage ratiotesterisalsocalledhigh and lowvoltage CT
wireless ratiotester.Itiscomposedofhigh voltage detector,lowvoltage current
clamp,mainengine,highvoltageinsulationrod,monitoringsoftware and
communicationline.Theinstrumentadoptsfast digitalcircuitprocessing technology.
Itcanconnect insulationrodstomeasure high-voltage current transformers,primary
transformers, high-voltage primarycurrent,low-voltage secondarycurrent,and can
be calculatedunderthecondition ofnotdisconnecting orpowering on site.Change
ratio, phase,polarity, and ratioerror below60kV
Whennotusingtheinsulationrod,itcanalsobeusedasahigh-precision
low-voltage clampammeter,leakage currentmeter,canaccuratelymeasure the
currentof0.1mA,it hasthecharacteristicsof easytouse, easytocarry.
Itswirelesstransmission functioncanreceivemeasureddatawithin 30meters
(withoutobstacles)in astraight line, ensuringhighprecision,highreliability,andhigh
stabilityforcontinuoustesting withoutinterruption.

VII Operation
Beforeusingthetester,examine whether thereisanypartbroken;if
no, itcanbeput intouse.
Install thebatteryaccordingtothe manual.
1. Switchofhigh voltagedetector
Pressthe POWERbutton toturnon the POWERindicator light,the high
pressuredetectorstartsautomaticdetection,andthe testresults(thecurrent
level and pulseofthe high voltage side) aresenttothehostthrough wireless
transmission.Thehigh-voltage detector turnsoffautomaticallyafterabout15
minutes toreducebatteryconsumption.
Innormal testmode, press thePOWERbuttontoshutdown.
2. Switchofmainengine
PressthePOWERbuttontoturnon,LCD display, the hostentersthetest
receiving mode afternormalbooting (asshownin Figure 1),theprimarycurrent
isthetest dataofthehighvoltage side,thesecondarycurrent isthetest dataof
the lowvoltage side,Iftheprimaryand secondaryloopsbothdetect the signal,
the master will displaythe ratio ofthesecondaryloopat5Aconversionand
indicatethephasedifference.If themastercannotidentifythe phaseofthe
primaryand secondaryloops normally,the “Er”symbol will be displayed (as
shownin Figure2).

About10minutesafterthemain unitisturnedon,theLCD will continue
flashing,indicatingthattheLCD will automaticallyshutdown.TheLCDwill
continuetoflashforapproximately30 secondsbeforeshuttingdownautomatically
toreducebatteryconsumption.IftheLCD continuestoflash,pressanykeyand
the hostcontinuestowork.
If theconversionratio coefficientislarge,the primaryloop currentislarge,
the secondaryloopcurrentissmall,andthe transformation ratiocoefficient
exceeds1000000,whichisdisplayed as “x.xxK6”(x.xx×106),the number of
pointsbehind Kisseveral timeson the10th,,ofcourse,normal runninglineswill
notshowthissituation
Inthe test mode, press thePOWERbuttonbrieflytoshut down.Long press

thePOWERkeytoswitchbetween the test interfaceand theconversion ratio
displayinterface.
Intheconversionratiodisplayinterface, longpresstheMENU buttontoset
the conversion ratiovalue,setbythe LEFTbutton and the RIGHTbutton,long
presstheMENU buttontoexitthesetting ratio.
Intestmode,shortpressMENU tolockandsavedata.PresstheMENU
buttonforalongtimetoenterthereferencemode.PresstheLEFTbuttonor the
RIGHTbutton toviewthe data.Pressand hold theMENU button toexitthe
referencemode.
Inthetestmode,press thePOWERbuttonshortlytoenterthedelete
interface,selectYesorNobypressingtheLEFTbuttonortheRIGHTbutton,and
pressthePOWER buttontoconfirmtheselection.
PressPOWER tostartthe engine,andLCD displays. After the normal startup,the
main enginewill entertestreceiving mode (seethepictureabove).Theprimary
currentisthetestingdataofhigh-voltage terminalwhile thesecondarycurrentthe
low-voltage.Incasethatsignals aredetectedinbothprimaryand secondarycircuits,
the mainenginewill showthetransformation ratiosonthebasisofsecondarycircuit
bearing current5A,and indicatephase.If in phase,itshows"⊕"symbol;ifoutof
phase,itshows"Θ"symbol,ifthephasecantbeproperlyidentified,itshows"Er"
symbol.
Iftransformationratioistoohigh,whichmeansthatthe currentvalue inthe
primarycircuitislarge while itinthesecondaryissmall,theratiosurpasses
1000,000,i.e. “x.xxxK6”(x.xxx×106)isdisplayed,thenumeral value behind “K”
meansthe power of10.Ofcourse,thisphenomenon will notoccur in the normal
operational circuit.
Intest mode,press POWERkeytoshutdown.Andlongpress POWERkeyto
the ratiomode.
3. High -voltagecurrent, high -altitudecurrent,high -altitudeleakage
currenttest
High voltage,verydangerous!Nobodybutaqualifiedpersonnel
aftertraining could conduct operation on it.Theoperatorshould
obeysafetyregulations;otherwisetherewill bethedangerof
electricshock resulting inpersonalinjuryor casualty.
Dangerous!Itisnotallowabletotestbarewiresor busbarswhose
voltageexceeds60kV;otherwise therewill bedangerofelectric
shock resulting inpersonalinjuryorcasualty.
Dangerous!Itisnotallowabletodetect thehigh currentwire
above1200A.Otherwise therewill bethedangerofelectricshock
resulting inpersonalinjuryor casualty.

Priortothedetection, havetheinsulationbarsconnected
properly,finallyhavethedetectorconnected,and take careto
avoidanyground impacton theinstrument.
Nothing butthespecial-madeinsulation barscouldbeconnected
totheinstrument.
Afterthedetection,collecttheinsulation rod inslantdirection,
firsttake apartthedetector,thentheinsulation bars,and take care
toavoidground impact on detector.
The high-voltagedetectorisconnectedtotheinsulating rod.Afterthe
normal power on,letthe wire bein themiddle ofthe guide area oftheclamphead.
The instrumentguide areaisperpendiculartothewire.Pushthemetertoclamp
thehighvoltagetesterofthemeasured wire tostartthetest andsendthetest
resulttothehost.The host automaticallyentersthedetection receiving stateafter
the normal power on.Ifthehostreceivesthe signalsentbythe high voltage
detector,thecurrentvalue oftheprimaryloop ofthehighvoltage sideis
displayed in real time.Ifthe hostdoesnotreceivethe signal sentbythe
high-voltage detector,theprimarycurrentis “nosignal”.If thehostdisplaysa
currentvalue of “OL”,itindicatesthatthecurrentmeasured exceedstheupper
limitofthehigh-voltagedetector.Afterpullingback,the instrumentcanbe
evacuated fromthetestedwire.When evacuating,theinstrumentguidearea
shouldbekeptperpendiculartothewire (asshownin Figure 3).

4. Lowvoltagecurrent,leakagecurrenttest
High voltage,verydangerous!Nobodybutaqualifiedpersonnel
aftertraining canconduct operationon it.Theoperatorshould
strictlyfollowthesafetyregulations;otherwisetherewill bethe
danger ofelectricshock resulting inpersonalinjuryorcasualty.
Lowvoltagecurrentpliersarenotallowabletodetecthigh voltage
wireabove600Vor10A;Otherwise,thereisadangerofelectric
shock that maycause personalinjuryor equipmentdamage.
1)Connectlowvoltage currentpliersand mainset, turnthemainseton,enterthe
detectionmode.
2)Havelowvoltage currentpliersclampthe wire(notice:itworkholdingjawsis
fullyclosed),examine thecurrentnumericalreading,iftheinstrumenthas
secondarycurrentindicationof “OL”,the secondarycurrentexceedsinstrument
upper currentlimit.
3)Refertothe legend (Figure5, Figure 6)

currentand transformer secondarycurrentratio is:0.95,((25 ÷(10kV ÷
380V)).

Inthetestmode,press andholdthePOWERbuttonforabout3secondsto
entertheconversionratiodisplaymode(asshownin Figure 8):Thecurrentvalue

about3secondstoentertheinterfaceforsettingthe secondaryconversion
currentbase.PresstheLEFTbuttonand RIGHTbuttontoadjustthe basevalue
of theconvertedcurrent. Press andholdtheMENU buttonforabout 3seconds to
exittheconversionratiodisplaymodeandreturntothepower-ontestmode.
Eachtimetheinstrumentispoweredon,thesecondarycurrentisconverted to5A
bydefault.

6. Dataholdand delete
Inthe normaltest mode,afterpressingtheMENUkeyforashorttime,the
LCD displaycan bemaintained.The “HOLD”symbol indicatesthattheMEM
flashesonceandthe measured currentdataismaintained.Press theMENU
buttonagaintoreleasethe datalock and return tothe test mode. The “HOLD”
symbol disappears.
7. Datastorage
Inthenormaltestmode,when the MENU keyispressedbrieflytohold the

data,themeter automaticallynumbersandstoresthe currentlyheld data.The
“MEM”symbol blinksonceduringthestorage process.Theinstrumentcan
store 500setsofdata.Ifthememory isfull,the “FULL”symbol will continueto
flash,andthememorymust beclearedbefore itcanbestoredagain.
8. Dataaccess
Innormaltest mode,pressandholdthe MENUbuttonforabout3secondsto
enterthedatareviewmode.Ifthenumber ofstoragegroupsis0,thescreen
flashes"NULL"andreturnstothe testinterface.If the number ofstorage groupsis
not0,the"MR" symbol isdisplayed onthescreenandthestored01stgroupdata
is automaticallydisplayed.The stored datacan be scrolledup or downbypressing
theLEFTbuttonortheRIGHTbutton,and thefirst setofdataisautomatically
returnedwhen thestored lastset ofdataisscrolled.
Scrollingoperationsinclude:long pressthe LEFTbutton (-10),long pressthe
RIGHTbutton(+10),shortpresstheLEFTbutton(-1),shortpressthe RIGHT
button(+1).
Inthe datareferencemode,pressandhold the MENU buttonfor about3
seconds toexitthedatareferencemodeandreturn tothetestmode
9. Datadeletion
Inthedatareferencemode,press thePOWERbuttonbrieflytoenterthe
deleteinterface.SelectYesor NobypressingtheLEFTbutton ortheRIGHT
button. Press the POWERbuttonshortlytoconfirmthe selection andreturntothe
test mode.
10. Dataupload
ConnecttheRS232communicationcable between thecomputerand thehost
computer,turn onthe detectorandrun themonitoring software.Ifthe software
showsthattheserial portisopenandtheconnectionissuccessful,thestored
historical datacanbe read,uploadedtothecomputer andsaved.
The monitoring software hason-line real-timemonitoring and historicalquery
functions,dynamicdisplay,withthemaximum,minimum,average indication,
alarmvalue settingandalarmindicationfunction,withhistoricaldatareading,
viewing, saving, printingand otherfunctions.

VIII.Battery
Caution! Nodetection could beconducted when thebatterycover isnot
properlyclosed,otherwisethereisdanger.
Payattentiontobatteryelectrode,otherwiseitwill doharmtothe
instrument.
Can notmixold andnewbatteries.
1.When the batteryvoltage ofthereceiving instrumentislower than 5.2V,the “”
symbol isdisplayed in thelower leftcorner of the instrument,indicating that the
batterypower is insufficient. Pleasereplacethebatteryin time.
2.Power off,confirmthattheinstrumentisshutdown.Open the batterycover and
replacewithnewqualifiedbatteries.Paying specialattention tothesizeand
electrode,closethebatterycover,coverthebatterycover.
3.PressthePOWERbutton tocheckwhether the meter can bootnormally.If it
cannot bestarted,pleasefollowthe secondsteptorestart..
