For optimum light duration throughout the night, it is very important to mount your solar panel in a
spot where it receives maximum amount of direct sunlight throughout the day. The solar light must
be charged in full sun for two days in the “ON” position for the best results.
NOTE: The following steps are for reference only. Consult your local hardware store for the best installation
method for your chosen surface.

Assembly Instructions
1. Mount the Bracket to the Wall
1.1. Use a drill to make three holes
in the wall where the lamp
will be mounted. (use the wall
mount bracket (Part C) as a
template for drilling locations)
1.2. Place the Anchors (From Part A)
into the holes and place the bracket
(Part C) in line with the holes.
1.3. Secure the bracket (Part C) to the wall by tightening
the provided screws (From Part A) into the anchors.
5. Turn the Light On
Turn the operation switch to the
Low or High position according
your preferences:
(Low) For softer light and longer
duration.
(High) For brighter light output.
The solar lamp will automatically
operate at dusk. Install the Lens
(Part H) by twisting clockwise.
6. Mount the Lamp to the Wall
Insert the pole into the wall
bracket (Part C) and secure
with the two provided set
screws using the hex wrench
(From Part A).
8. Adjust the Angle of the Lamp
The angle of the light fixture can be adjusted by
rotating swivel adapter.
a. Loosen the wing nut on the side of the swivel
joint and the set screw where the goose neck
pole connects. (Part B)
b. Position the lamp at the
desired angle.
c. Tighten the wing nut to
secure the lamp at the
desired angle.
d. Tighten the set screw to
keep the lamp head from
twisting sideways.
7. Attach the Lamp Head
Place the washer (From Part
A) over the threaded rod then
thread the solar lamp (Part F)
clockwise into the swivel joint
(Part B).
2. Assemble the Pole
2.1. If desired, the pole can be
assembled with an extension
piece (Part E).
2.2. To assemble, twist the
extension pole (Part E) into
the goose neck (Part D).
3. Attach the Swivel Joint
Connect the swivel joint (Part B)
to the goose neck pole (Part D)
by twisting it clockwise.
Note: You may need to loosen the
set screw on the side first.

Make sure the new bulb you purchase is compatible with this model
(A60 Directional Bulb)
4. Installing the Solar LED Bulb
Install the new GS Solar LED bulb
(Part G) in the socket by twisting
the bulb clockwise.

NOTE: Make sure to grip the light
bulb by the base only and NOT the glass lens. The
GS Solar LED Bulb is designed to last up to 10 years,
however if it doesn’t work, or if you want to use
different color temperature bulb, it can be easily
replaced.

Replacing the Battery
Replacement batteries are available
at www.gamasonic.com or via our Toll free number: +1-800-835-4113
After several years of use, the battery may need replacing.
1. Remove Lamp from pole.
2. Make sure the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF (O) position.
3. Remove the lens and bulb from the lamp
4. Unscrew the battery compartment (Fig. 10) located on the silver reflector and
remove the compartment door.
5. Remove the old battery by pulling it out and unclipping the connector.
6. Make sure the new batteries are a Gama Sonic – 3.2V/3,000mAh, Li-ion
Rechargeable Battery with a connector. This lamp requires two batteries.
7. Clip on the new battery and install it into the battery compartment. Re-Install the
battery compartment cover.
8. Repeat steps 4 to 6 for the second battery.
9. Reinstall the lens, bulb, and turn the switch to the High or Low setting.
10.Reattach the lamp to the pole.

MAINTENANCE
Clean the solar module regularly with a damp towel to guarantee optimum performance of the solar
panel. Do not use any type of solvent for cleaning and be careful not to put too much pressure on the
module while cleaning.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If your solar charged light does not come on at dusk despite observance of all the instructions,
please try the following steps:
1. Make sure that the solar light is not being affected by any other light source.
2. Ensure the solar light is not positioned in the shade during the day.
3. Make sure the switch in the lamp head is NOT in the” OFF” position.
4. Check that the batteries are installed correctly.
5. Check that the GS Solar LED Light Bulb is installed correctly.
NOTE: The performance of the solar light will vary with the time of year. It will deliver more light
when it has had a full day in the sun rather than a day in overcast weather.
WINTERTIME TIPS: For optimal performance, be sure to remove any snow or debris
accumulation from solar panel(s). A solar panel free of debris will charge the batteries
much more efciently.
WARNING: Please keep out of reach of children.
WARNING: Please keep out of reach of children. Do not dispose of Li-Ion battery in the regular trash,
municipal waste stream or by re as batteries may leak or explode. Do not open, short circuit, or
mutilate batteries as injury may occur. Preserve our environment by recycling Li-Ion batteries or
disposing of them in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. Do not mix old and new
batteries.
