trademark Gamma®.
Your nebulizer is intended for use in treatment of asthma, COPD and
other respiratory ailments in which an aerosolized medication is required
during therapy. Aerosol easily and quickly comes to both upper and lower
respiratory tracks.
Before starting to use the compressor nebulizer please study the user’s
manual carefully. Following the rules stated in the user’s manual will
provide for the faultless operation of the compressor nebulizer for a long
period of time.

INTRODUCTION
What is a nebulizer and how does it work?
The compressor nebulizer system is a device that turns a liquid drug into
a ne aerosol under the inuence of the compressed air. Aerosol con-
tains large and small particles. When breathing the gravity makes the
larger particles accumulate on the walls of the upper respiratory passages
while the smaller particles have enough time to reach the lower bronchial
branches. Therefore the drug comes to all parts of the patient’s bronchial
tree, including the smallest bronchi and alveoli, and gets into the blood
vessels on the walls of the alveoli in big therapeutic dozes with tiny or
none side effects.
What is nebulizing therapy used for?
Nebulizer systems are used by the patients with:
• acute respiratory diseases,
• obstructive pulmonary disease,
• chronic inammatory processes in respiratory passages such as
chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma (incl. chronic or unstable ones,
exacerbation of asthma), chronic pharyngitis,
• respiratory passages infections,
• abnormalities in secretion quality and secreting in bronchi,
• different types of coughing.
What are the advantages of nebulizing
therapy?
Nebulizing therapy gives a possibility to quickly effect the inammatory
zone by big drug dozes which increases the inuence of the treatment and
reduces the risk of side effects to other organs. Nebulizing therapy is the
easiest way of inhalation treatment and it is also an economical means of
treatments from the point of view of purposeful use of drug. Aerosol treat-
ment with the help of nebulizing systems can be used for children, elderly
and inrm patients.

BEFORE STARTING TO USE THE UNIT
Important Safety Information
• To avoid electrical shock: keep unit away from water.
• Do not touch the unit, plug or unplug into the electrical outlet with wet
hands.
• Do not use the unit if it has any damaged parts (including plug), if it
has been submersed in water or dropped. Promptly send the unit for
examination and repair.
• The unit should not be used where ammable gas, oxygen or aerosol
spray products are being used.
• Keep the air vents open. Do not place the unit on a soft surface where
the openings can be blocked.
• If the medication cup is empty, do not attempt to operate the unit.
• Always keep the unit unplugged while not in use.
• Do not tilt or shake the unit when in operation.
• Disconnect the unit from the electrical outlet before cleaning, lling and
after each use.
• Do not use attachments unless recommended by the manufacturer.
• Close adult supervision is highly recommended when the unit is used
by children or invalids.
• Keep your eyes away from the output of medication mist.
• The maximum capacity of the medication cup is 8 ml and should
not be overlled.
• If any discomfort or abnormality occurs, stop using the unit immedi-
ately.
• Do not use the device if the air tube is bent.
Electric devices must be disposed of in accordance with the locally
applicable regulations, not with domestic waste.

Assembling the Unit
Follow the cleaning instructions in this manual under «Cleaning the Unit»
prior to using your nebulizer for the rst time or after it has been stored for
an extended period of time.
1. Place the compressor on a at, stable surface within reach.
2. Gently twist and pull straight up on the lid of the nebulizer to separate
into two parts (medication cup and cover).
3. Make sure that the nozzle is properly installed inside the medication
cup. The stem inside the medication cup inserts into the tube of the
nozzle.
4. Add the prescribed amount of medication to the medication cup.
5. Reassemble the nebulizer by carefully twisting the medication cup and
cover together. Make sure that the two parts t securely.
REMEMBER: Always unplug the compressor and make
sure the power-switch is turned to the «OFF» position before
cleaning, assembling and before or after each use.

CARRYING OUT NEBULIZING THERAPY
Operating the Unit
1. Attach one end of the air tube connector to the air output.
2. Carefully attach the opposite end of the air tubing connector to the stem
at the base of the nebulizer kit.
3. Open a nebulizer and put inside the prescribed medicine but not more
than 8 ml. Then close the nebulizer cover.
4. Attach the oral mouthpiece or mask to the top of the dispenser.
5. Connect the device to the main power. Your inhaler is ready for use.
After every use:
1. Unplug the appliance.
2. Allow the unit to completely cool.
3. Carefully detach the air tubing from the nebulizer and pour out any
remaining medication.
4. Follow the cleaning procedures provided in this manual.
Changing the Air Filter
It is important to change the air lter approximately when the air lter turns
gray.
1. Remove the air lter cover by gently pulling forward.
2. Discard the gray lter.
3. Replace with a new, clean air lter.
4. Securely re-attach the air lter cover to the unit.
NOTE: Air lters cannot be cleaned or washed. Only
Effect New air lters can be used. Do not substitute
alternate material such as cotton. Do not operate
without an air lter.

UNIT MAINTENANCE
• Check air lter, nebulizer, mouthpiece and any other optional compo-
nents before each use. Dirty or worn parts should be replaced.
• Do not store the air tube with moisture or medication remaining in the
air tube. This could result in infection as a result of bacteria.
Rinsing technique (performed after each treatment or before rst use).
1. Make sure that the power-switch has been turned to the «OFF» position
and the unit has been disconnected from the power source.
2. Disconnect the air tube from the nebulizer device.
3. Disassembly components of the nebulizer kit:

bgently twist and pull up the cover of the nebulizer kit to open and
separate
disconnect the nozzle
4. Rinse the nebulizer kit and components with hot tap water.
5. Dry with clean towels or completely air dry.
6. Reassemble the nebulizer kit.
Wipe the compressor daily using a soft cloth.
NOTE: For the rst time cleaning or after the unit
has been stored for an extended period of time,
thoroughly clean all components, including the air
tube. The nebulizer kit is dishwasher safe.
NOTE: Any other form of cleaning or cleaning agents
may damage the nish of the unit.

All nebuliser components (except air hose) can be disinfected with chemi-
cal disinfectants following dosage and use limitations as provided by dis-
infectant manufacturer.
Disinfectants are usually available at pharmacies.
Unit Storage
• Do not store the unit in direct sunlight, high temperature or humidity.
• Keep the unit out of reach of small children.
Troubleshooting

Компрессорный небулайзер представляет собой прибор, который
преобразует жидкое лекарственное вещество в мелкодисперсный аэ-
розоль под воздействием сжатого воздуха. Аэрозоль содержит круп-
ные и мелкие частицы. При дыхании под воздействием силы тяжести
крупные частицы оседают на стенках верхних дыхательных путей, а
мелкие частицы успевают достичь нижних отделов бронхов.
Таким образом, лекарственное вещество попадает во все отделы
бронхиального дерева, включая самые мелкие бронхи и альвеолы,
и проникает в кровеносные сосуды в стенках альвеол в высоких те-
рапевтических дозах при незначительных или нулевых побочных эф-
фектах.

тивность проводимого лечения и снижает риск побочных действий
на другие органы. Небулайзерная терапия является наиболее эко-
номичным способом лечения с точки зрения целевого расходования

лекарственного вещества, широко применяется для детей, пожилых
людей, ослабленных пациентов.
• Не допускайте попадания воды на прибор во избежание поражения
электрическим током.
• Не касайтесь прибора мокрыми руками.
• Не используйте прибор при наличии поврежденных частей, если он
был погружен в воду или падал. Отправьте прибор на экспертизу
и ремонт.
• Прибор не должен использоваться в местах применения горючих
газов, кислорода или аэрозольных продуктов.
• Не закрывайте вентиляционные отверстия. Не ставьте прибор
на мягкую поверхность - это может привести к перекрытию
вентиляционных отверстий.
• Не используйте прибор, если емкость для медикаментов пуста.
• Прибор должен быть отключен от электросети, если он не
используется.
• Не наклоняйте и не встряхивайте прибор во время работы.
• Перед очисткой, заполнением и после каждого использования
отключайте прибор от электросети.
• Используйте только аксессуары, указанные изготовителем.
• Использование прибора детьми и людьми с физическими или
умственными недостатками следует осуществлять под пристальным
вниманием человека, который отвечает за их безопасность.
• Не допускайте попадания распыляемого аэрозоля в глаза.
• Максимальная вместимость емкости для медикаментов 8 мл;
переполнение емкости не допустимо.
• При появлении дискомфорта или каких-либо отклонений в работе,
немедленно прекратите использование прибора.
• Не используйте прибор, если воздушный шланг согнут.
