Important information
Caution!
•Do not insert or remove the SD card when the power is on – this can lead
to dash cam malfunction. Prior to inserting or removing the memory card,
make sure that the dash cam is switched o or that its power has been
turned o for at least 30 seconds and its indicators went dark at least
10 seconds ago.
•Set the correct time and date before using the product.
•Observe at least half a second time interval while pressing control buttons.
Otherwise you may need to reboot the dash cam by unplugging the power
cable.
• Do not turn o the power for at least 20 seconds after the power cable is
connected. This is necessary to ensure the dash cam’s normal operation.
•If after starting the engine (with the power cable connected) the dash cam
fails to switch to the recording mode automatically, turn ACC power o for
10 seconds and then turn it back on.
•To install and connect the dash cam without voiding your vehicle warranty,
please contact an authorized service station.
• Loop recording of G-sensor write-protected les is limited to 30% of the
total storage space on the memory card. Files protected from overwriting

Connecting the dash cam
Note: Gazer F715 dash cam requires direct connection to the car’s electrical
system. To install and connect the product without voiding your vehicle
warranty, please contact an authorized service station.
Connect the black wire (GND) to the vehicle’s ground. Connect the yellow wire
(BATT +) directly to +12 V car battery terminal or DC +12 V power line. Connect
the red wire (ACC) to the car’s +12 V ACC power wire (ACC power turns on when
the car engine starts and turns o when it stops).
When connected this way, the dash cam will turn on automatically and start
recording as soon as the car engine starts. Once the engine is turned o, the
dash cam will continue recording for one hour (default setting) after which the
recording will stop and the dash cam will shut down. You can select the recording
duration and dash cam operating mode after the engine is turned o using “Auto-
o time” and “Parking vibration” settings.
ENG

Using the dash cam
You can use the dash cam for CCTV recording when the car is parked. For this
you need to set the dash cam on-time after the ignition is turned o in “Auto-o
time” setting. In this case, when ACC power is o (i.e. when the engine is turned
o) the dash cam will continue operating in the Time-Lapse mode (1 fps). “Car
battery protect” function – prevents your car’s battery from depletion. The dash
cam will shut down correctly if the battery voltage drops below the minimal value
set in this menu item.
Note: Please, consult with an authorized service station prior to
changing “Car battery protect” settings.
When ACC power is o, the dash cam can operate in two modes that can be
selected in the “Parking vibration” item of the menu.
1. Dash cam operation with Time-Lapse mode (“Auto-o time”) and
parkingmode(“Parkingvibration”)on.
When set up this way, after ACC power is turned o, the dash cam continues
recording for 1 hour (default setting) in Time-Lapse mode with recording speed
reduced to 1 frame per second to save space on the memory card. If the
G-sensor detects an impact, the dash cam will record a 2-minute long write-
protected video le at 30 frames per second.
2. Dash cam operation with Time-Lapse mode (“Auto-o time”) on and
parkingmode(“Parkingvibration”)o.
When set up this way, after ACC power is turned o, the dash cam continues
recording for 1 hour (default setting) in Time-Lapse mode with recording speed is
reduced to 1 frame per second to save space on the memory card. In this mode,
the G-sensor will neither detect any impacts nor aect the recording mode.

Installing the dash cam
Prior to installation, position the dash cam
accurately on the windshield. Use a felt-tipped
pen to mark the mounting location. Keep in
mind that once the mount is xed on the
windshield you will not be able to change the
dash cam’s horizontal position (right-left) and
only vertical position adjustment (up-down)
will be possible.
Make sure that the dash cam is installed
conveniently. Fix the mount so that other
objects would not prevent you from
monitoring indicators on the dash cam front
panel, inserting or removing the memory card,
or pressing any buttons.
Peel o the protective lm from 3M tape. Mount the dash cam on the windshield in the
intended spot using 3М adhesive pad.
Rotate the dash cam vertically to point its lens
down at about 15°.
To remove the 3M mounting pad from the
windshield, use a ruler or plastic card and
push it gently between the mount and the
windshield.
Caution! Degrease the windshield surface before mounting. Make sure
that the mounting location is dry and clean. Do not apply the 3M adhesive
mounting pad if the ambient temperature is below +5 °С. Due to low air
temperature and a signicant dierence between temperatures inside and
outside the car, 3M tape may lose its adhesive properties and make secure
mounting impossible.

Preparing the memory card
Before using the dash cam, make sure that you format your memory card using
specialized utilities. We recommend using a free SD Formatter utility. Use a
search engine to nd and download it from one of many Internet resources or
from the web portal http://www.sdcard.org.
Formatting is necessary to optimize the memory card access speed. Unlike
standard Windows formatting tools, SD Formatter formats the memory card
in accordance with SD Memory Card Format specication, which allows the dash
cam to access the card signicantly faster. SD Formatter also creates an optimal
les system structure (cluster size, etc.).
If an unformatted memory card is used, the dash cam may fail to record at all
or record with long pauses between video clips. Formatting with SD Formatter
minimizes such pauses.

Preparing the dash cam
One needs to precongure the dash cam before using it. By default (factory
settings), all main parameters are set to optimal values. Nonetheless, one still
needs to set the exact time and date. This is necessary for proper operation of
the recording mode and further analysis of recorded video clips.
For correct adjustment of settings, we recommend connecting the dash cam
to a display. You can use Gazer monitor, Gazer rear view mirror with a built-in
monitor, or any other display with a composite video input.
Before inserting a memory card into the slot, make sure that the dash cam is
turned o and all indicators are inactive.
The memory card must be inserted with contacts facing the status indicators.
Connecting with a display
Connect the dash cam to a display and plug in the power supply.
To access the dash cam settings menu, you rst need to stop the recording by
pressing • REC (the recording stops with some delay because the device needs
to close and save the le with the last video clip) and then press and hold RIGHT
for 3 seconds.
Use LEFT and RIGHT, to navigate the settings menu, press OK, to go to the
submenu and select parameters, long press RIGHT to exit from the menu.
Viewing records
You can view recorded video clips from the dash cam menu. You can also remove
the memory card from the dash cam and view the recordings on your PC.
Viewing from dash cam menu
Connect the dash cam to a monitor or a TV set using the RCA composite video
output. Plug in the power supply.
Stop the current recording by pressing • REC, then switch to «view» mode by
short pressing RIGHT.
Use LEFT and RIGHT to navigate your video archive. Pressing OK will start or
stop playback. When you nish viewing, do not forget to resume the recording
