Usage
• Car Rearview Mirror with built-in monitor and Super HD MVR
Gazer MMR51xх/MMR71xх/MUR51xх/MUR71xх is designed as a
replacement of the original mirror. The last digit of «xх» labeling
model indicates the type of mounting on the windshield compatible
with the bracing of certain car models.
• Gazer mirrors series MMR51xх/MMR71xх/MUR51xх/MUR71xх have
a built-in 4.3’’(16:9) display supporting two video inputs and PAL or
NTSC videostandards (the monitor automatically detects the signal
format and switch to operate in the desired standard).
• When the built-in MVR is on, the image will be continuously displayed
on the screen. Use the ON/OFF button to switch the built-in display
on or off (the MVR will continue recording).
•Camera video input is designed for receiving video feed from the
rear-view camera. When the car is driving in reverse (with video feed
provided by the rear-view camera), the image will be displayed on
the built-in monitor. Camera video input is prioritized: when the
MVR and the rear-view camera provide video feed simultaneously,
the monitor automatically switches to the rear-view camera viewing
mode. If the monitor was turned off by pressing the ON/OFF button,
it will turn on automatically when the Camera video input receives
video feed and turn off when the video feed is terminated. When
the rear-view camera is turned on, the MVR recording does not stop.
• Gazer MMR71xx/MUR71xx/MMR51xx/MUR51xx built-in monitor has
an automatic brightness adjustment function. This function is enabled
by default, and depending on the lighting conditions inside the car,
the monitor will automatically adjust the screen brightness to the
required level.
• When the built-in display receives video feed from the rear-view
camera, one can adjust the brightness setting by pressing the ON/
OFF button (brightness is set at a minimal level by default). The
selected brightness level will be stored in the device memory and
the next time the display is turned on, the brightness level will be set
automatically based on the last setting.

Usage
Note: Use the remote control that comes in the supply package to
set up and control the mirror.
1. Interface language setting. Stop the recording by pressing the SEL/
REC button and then go to the settings menu by double pressing the MENU
button. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to navigate to the «Language» item
and select the interface language. You may then resume the recording by
pressing the SEL/REC button.
2. Date and time setting. The mirror allows adding date and time
watermarks to recorded videos. To set the correct date and time, stop the
recording by pressing the SEL/REC button and then go to the settings
menu by double pressing the MENU button. Use the UP/DOWN buttons
to navigate to the «Date and time» item and set the desired date and time.
You may then resume the recording by pressing the SEL/REC button.
3. Video resolution setting. The MVR supports the following video
recording resolutions:
2560x1080 @30fps; 2304x1296 @30fps; 1920x1080
@45fps; 1920x1080 @30fps; HDR1920x1080 @30fps; 1280x720 @60fps;
1280x720 @30fps.
To select the recording resolution, rst stop the
recording by pressing the SEL/REC button and then go to the settings
menu by double pressing the MENU button. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to
navigate to the «Video resolution» item and select the required parameter.
You may then resume the recording by pressing the SEL/REC button.
4. Loop recording. To enable/disable the МVR’s loop recording function,
rst stop the recording by pressing the SEL/REC button and then go to
the settings menu by double pressing the MENU button. Use the UP/
DOWN buttons to navigate to the «Loop recording» item and select the
required value from the available parameters. You may then resume the
recording by pressing the SEL/REC button.
Recommendation: Selecting the shortest duration of recorded
video clips allows minimizing pauses between them.
5. Automatic power-up on ACC signal. The mirror supports automatic
activation of the recording mode when АСС signal is transmitted (this function
is enabled by default). To disable this function, rst stop the recording by
pressing the SEL/REC button and then switch to the settings menu by
double pressing the MENU button. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to navigate
to the «Recording activation» item and select the required parameter. You
may then resume the recording by pressing the SEL/REC button.
6. G-sensor. The mirror features a built-in G-sensor (a three-axis
accelerometer) that traces any sharp changes in the vehicle’s driving pattern
(hard braking, acceleration, and impacts). Files recorded when the G-sensor
is tripped are automatically protected from deletion due to loop overwriting

ENG
12
Usage
and stored in a separate «EVENT» folder (a maximum of 15 les) where loop
overwriting feature also applies. This recording principle ensures the device’s
continuous operation with no additional maintenance required – the space
on the SD card is freed up automatically.
To adapt the G-sensor to external operating conditions, the mirror allows
adjusting the sensor’s sensitivity. To set the G-sensor sensitivity, rst stop
the recording by pressing the SEL/REC button and then go to the settings
menu by double pressing the MENU button. Use the UP/DOWN buttons
to navigate to the «G-sensor sensitivity» item and select the required value
from the available parameters. You may then resume the recording by
pressing the SEL/REC button.
7. Motion sensor. Thanks to the motion sensor, the built-in МVR supports
automatic activation of the recording mode upon detection of motion in the
frame as well as automatic deactivation of this mode 2 seconds after the
motion in the frame stops. To enable and congure this function, rst stop
the recording by pressing the SEL/REC button and then go to the settings
menu by double pressing the MENU button. Using UP/DOWN buttons
navigate to the «Motion sensor» item to enable/disable the function or to
«MD sensitivity» item to select the sensitivity level.
8. Parking mode. When the parking mode is activated, the built-in MVR
will continue recording up to 12 hours after the ACC signal is terminated.
In this case, the monitor and status indicators will be turned off. To enable
this function, rst stop the recording by pressing the SEL/REC button and
then go to the settings menu by double pressing the MENU button. Use the
UP/DOWN buttons to navigate to the «Parking mode» item and select the
desired MVR operation time from the available parameters.
Note: Car Rearview Mirror with built-in MVR Gazer has the minimal
system voltage control function. As soon as the specied level 11,7V is
reached, the MVR shuts down and the parking mode will not be active.
This makes it possible to prevent the vehicle’s battery from discharging
to a critical level after which it will be impossible to start the car engine.
9. LDWS+FCWS intelligent technologies. The device utilizes intelligent
LDWS (Lane Departure Warning System) and FCWS (Forward Collision
Warning System) systems. LDWS system is designed to alert the driver
about the departure from a chosen lane. FCWS will promptly warn you about
the violation of a safe distance between your car and another vehicle thus
helping avoid a possible accident or collision.
To enable and congure this function, rst stop the recording by pressing the
SEL/REC button and then go to the settings menu by double pressing the
MENU button. Using UP/DOWN buttons navigate to the «LDWS»/«FCWS»
item to enable/disable the function or to «Calibration» item to calibration of
the systems.
