CLEARINGJAMS:
If a paper jam occurs, switch the unit to the reverse position
until the paper is out of the throat. In some cases, it may be
necessary to alternate between FORWARD and REVERSE
positions several times to help clear excess paper from the
cutting area.
THERMALCUT-OFFFEATURE
This shredder is designed for low volume shredding, and is
not intended for continuous operation. This unit features a
thermal cut-off device that automatica/1yshuts off the shred-
der if run for an extended period of time. If this occurs, sim-
ply a/low the shredder to cool for 25 minutes before resum-
ing operation.
INSTALLATION
Positiontheshredderontothebasket.Oncethe unitis cor-
rectlypositionedon the basket,plug it into a standardAC
outlet.
MATERIALSYOUCANSHRED
Yourshredderwill handlemostanytypeofofficepaperdoc-
uments.Youcansafelyshreddocumentscontainingstaples,
however,othermetalitemsmaydamagetheshredder.
ON/AUTO:
Simplyinsertpaperintothe centerof thethroat.Onceyour
documenthasactivatedthetriggerswitchthe unitwill turn
onandoffautomatically.
FORWARDANDREVERSE:
Movingtheswitchto eitherofthesepositionswill cause
theunitto runinthecorrespondingdirection.
RIMOZIONEINCEPPAMENTI
Se si dovesse verificare un inceppamento, posizionate il
selettore sulla posizione REVERSEfino a quando la carta
sara uscita dall'imboccatura. In alcuni casi, potrebbe render-
si necessario portare piu volte, alternativamente, il selettore
sulle posizioni REVERSEe ACCESO,per eliminare dal grup-
po di taglio la carta in eccesso.
SISTEMAANTISURRISCAlDAMENTD
Questo distruggidocumenti e stato realizzato per esigen-
ze modeste e non per lavorare in continuo. Per motivi di
sicurezza e per preservare il distruggidocumenti, e'stato
applicato un sistema che spegne la macchina in caso di
eccessivo surriscaldamento. Si consiglia di riaccendere il
70s dopo almeno 25 minuti.
CD INSTALLAZIONE
Posizionate il distruggi documenti sui suo cesto. Quando
I'unita e correttamente posizionata sui cesto, inserite la spina
in una presa di corrente standard AC.
MATERIALICHESIPOSSONODISTRUGGERE
II distruggi documenti puo trattare Quasitutti i tipi di docu-
menti cartacei. Potete tranQuillamente distruggere le graf-
fette, mentre altri tipi di oggetti in metallo potrebbero dan-
neggiarlo.
FUNZIONAMENTOON/AUTO
Dovete semplicemente inserire i documenti nel centro
dell'imboccatura e unavolta che la carta avra attivato il grup-
po di taglio I'unita si accendera e spegnera automatica-
mente.

AUFLOSENVON PAPIERSTAUS:
Wenn ein Papierstau auftreten sollte. betatigen Sie den
RiiGklauf. und das Gerat startet automatisGh naGhein paar
Sekunden und wird den Papierstau beheben. In einigen
Fallen wird es vielleiGht notwendig sein. einige Male zwis-
Ghender RUCKLAUFund der AN Position hin und her zu
sGhalten. um das zuviel eingefiigte Papier aus dem
SGhneidbereiGhzu losen.
THERMISCHERjjBERLASTUNGSSCHUTZ:
Dieser AktenverniGhter ist niGhtfiir den Dauerbetrieb. son-
dern fiir den gelegentliGhen GebrauGh konzipiert: Aus
SiGherheitsgriinden ist deshalb ein thermisGher Uberlas-
tungssGhutz eingebaut. der das Gerat automatisGh absGhal-
tet. sobald der AktenverniGhter iiber eine bestimmte
Zeitperiode hinaus permanent in Betrieb ist. Wenn dieser
Fall eintritt. geben Sie dem Gerat eine Abkiihlphase von Ga.
25 Minuten. bevor Sie es erneut benutzen.
Plazieren Sie den Aktenvernichter auf den Abfallbehalter.
Sobald der Aktenvernichter korrekt auf dem Abfallbehalter
aufgesetzt ist, stecken Sie den Stecker in die Steckdose.
MATERIALIEN.DIE SIE SHREDDERNKONNEN:
Ihr Aktenvernichter ist in der Lage, die meisten der im Biiro
anfallenden Dokumente zu shreddern. Sie konnen
Dokumente mit Heftklammern problemlos shreddern, wobei
andere Gegenstande aus Metall das Gerat beschadigen
konnten.
DN/AUTO(Automatischer Start/Stop.Sensor):
Sie brauchen einfach nur das Papier mittig in den
Papiereinfuhrschacht des Aktenvernichters einzulegen.
Sobald Ihr Dokument den automatischen StarVStop-Sensor
aktiviert hat,wird sich der Aktenvernichter dementsprechend
ein- oder ausschalten.
FORWARDund REVERSE:
Wenn Sie den Schalter auf eine dieser Positionen wechseln,
wird der Aktenvernichter in die dementsprechende Richtung
arbeiten (FORWARD= vorwarts, REVERSE= riickwarts).
