duringstart-up,a“pinging” noise
maybeheard. Thisisnormalfora
shorttimeinlesshumidareasand
longerinveryhumidareas. This
methodofmoistureremovalimproves
theoperationalefficiencyofyour
airconditioner.

conditionertoanother location,
turn itoffand wait5or 10minutes.

Removethe inletgrille bygrasping
thetabatthetopofthegrille,pulling

Place the grille on aflat surface
and removethe filter. Washthe
filter in hot, soapywater,just as
youwould asponge. Squeezedry.
Toreinstallthe filter, place it on
pins located on the back sideof
the grille.
Toreplace the grille, place the two
tabs at the bottom ofthe grille into
slotson the case and push the grille
forward.
