WARNING TAMPER-RESISTANT SCREW
This appliance is equipped with a tamper-resistant screw to prevent removal of the outer cover. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not attempt
toremove the outer cover. Thereare nouser-serviceable parts inside. Repair should bedoneonlyby anauthorized service personnel.
POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to
modify the plug in any way.
ELECTRICAL CORD
NOTE:
If the power cord is damaged, please contact the warrantor listed in the back of this manual.

A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is provided toreduce the risk resulting from becomingentangled in or
tripping over a longer cord.

Using theToaster
Getting Started
This appliance is for household use only.
•
Remove all packing materials, any stickers and the plastic
band around the power plug.
•
Toregister your product, goto
cafeappliances.com
.
•
WashallpartsasinstructedinCareandCleaningsection.
•
Select a level surface where this unit is to be used
allowing enough space for steam to escape without
damage to counters, cabinets and walls.
•
Set the browning level to maximum (8). Operate the
appliance empty, to cure the new elements. This may
smellabit,butit’snothingtoworryabout.Ensurethe
room is wellventilated.
Toasting Bread
1.
Set the toaster upright on a firm, level, heat-resistant
surface.
2.
Put the plug into the power socket.
3.
Turn the browning control to the required setting (1 =
light, 8 = dark).
4.
Put bread into the toasting slots (maximum thickness
25mm).
5.
Presstheleverdownfully.Itwon’tlockdownunlessthe
toaster is connected to the electricity supply.
Care andCleaning
Follow these guidelines for cleaning and caring for your
Toaster:
•
Unplug the appliance and let it cool down.
•
Toremove crumbs from theappliance, gently slide outthe
Frozen Bread
1.
Leavethe browning controlatyourpreferredsetting,
insertthe frozenbread,lowerthe lever,thenpressthe
"Frozen" button.
2.
The light will come on.
3.
The toast will pop up when ready.
Bagels
1.
Insert sliced bagel into the slots with cut side toward the
outside of thetoaster.
2.
Leave the browning control at your preferred setting,
lower the lever,then press the "Bagel" button.
3.
The bagel will pop up when ready.
Express Finish
Express Finish will activate extra heating elements on your
bread, toasting faster than the regular toasting function.
Individual toasting levels may vary on the type of bread and
how it is stored.
1.
Insert sliced bread into toasting slots and select preferred
toasting shade.
2.
Lower the lever then press the Express Finish button.
3.
Toast will pop up when ready.
Cancel
Pressing the "Cancel" button will stop toasting.
Crumb Tray
Thecrumb tray islocated onthe right handside of the
toaster. Push to release it from the toaster and pull out to
discard any crumbs, debris. Insert crumb tray by pushing all
the way back into the unit.
•
Clean the body of the appliance with a damp cloth.
•
DANGER
: Never immerse the appliance in water or a
dishwasher.
CAUTION
crumb tray from the appliance and empty it. Replace tray
when finished.

Do not insert foreign objects into slots.

Troubleshooting
Save time and money! Review the charts on the following pages first and you may not need to visit the website for
service.
Problem
Solution
The toaster does not work
Make sure plug is properly inserted into the wall.
Bread gets stuck in appliance
Unplugtheapplianceandlet it cool down.Carefullyremovethebreadfromthetoaster.Takecare nottodamage
the heating elements when you remove the bread. Never use a metal object for this purpose.
Toast is too light/too dark
Check thebrowning settingselected for toasting. Select a lower setting next time ifyourtoastis too dark and a
higher setting if your toast is too light. Also check that the frozen button is not selected.
The bread pops up almost immediately
without having been toasted.
Make sure you push down the toasting lever all the way.
Smoke comes out of the toaster.
Push the cancel button to stop the toasting process. Empty crumb tray if it is full and clean if needed.
The cord is damaged.
If the cord to this appliance is damaged, it must always be replaced by a service center.

LIMITED WARRANTY TO ORIGINAL PURCHASER
This refurbished product, as sold by Dealer to the
original consumer purchaser, is warranted by OnPoint
Warranty Solutions , LLC against manufacturing defects in
materials and workmanship for a limited warranty period
of: One (1) year Parts and Labor.

This limited warranty begins on day 1 after the original
date of purchase and is valid only on products purchased
and used in the United States. To receive warranty
service, the purchaser must contact OnPoint Warranty
Solutions (OPW) for problem determination and service
procedures. Warranty service can only be performed by
an OPW authorized service center. The original dated bill
of sale must be presented upon request as proof of
purchase to OPW or OPW authorized service center.
OPW will repair or replace any product found to be
defective, at our option and at no charge as stipulated
herein, with reconditioned product during the limited
warranty period specified above. All replaced products
become the property of OPW and must be returned to
OPW. Replacement products assume the remaining
original warranty. Also, at our option, due to service
availability, we may provide a gift card or check in lieu of
repair or replacement for the amount the consumer
purchase. Proof of Purchase will be required.
This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in
materials and workmanship encountered in normal,
noncommercial use of this product, and shall not apply to
the following, including, but not limited to: damage which
occurs in shipment; delivery and installation; applications
and uses for which this product was not intended; altered
product or serial numbers; cosmetic damage or exterior
finish; accidents, abuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning or
other acts of nature; use of products, equipment,
systems, utilities, services, parts,
supplies, accessories, applications, installations, repairs,
external plumbing and leaks, external wiring, circuit
breakers, fuses or connectors not supplied and
authorized by OPW, or which damage this product or
result in service problems; incorrect electrical line
voltage, fluctuations and surges; customer adjustments
and failure to follow operating instructions, cleaning,
maintenance and environmental instructions that are
covered and prescribed in the instruction book; loss of
food due to spoilage; consumable items including filters
and light.
THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES OTHER THAN
THOSE LISTED AND DESCRIBED ABOVE, AND NO
WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL APPLY AFTER THE EXPRESS
WARRANTY PERIODS STATED ABOVE, AND NO OTHER
EXPRESS WARRANTY OR GUARANTY GIVEN BY ANY
PERSON, FIRM OR CORPORATION WITH RESPECT TOTHIS
PRODUCT SHALL BE BINDING ON OPW. OPW SHALL NOT
BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF REVENUE OR PROFITS, FAILURE
TO REALIZE SAVINGS OR OTHER BENEFITS, OR ANY
OTHER SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE USE, MISUSE OR INABILITY TO
USE THIS PRODUCT, REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY
ON WHICH THE CLAIM IS BASED, AND EVEN IF OPW HAS
BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
NOR SHALL RECOVERY OF ANY KIND AGAINST OPW BE
GREATER IN AMOUNT THAN THE PURCHASE PRICE OF
THE PRODUCT SOLD BY DEALER AND CAUSING THE
ALLEGED DAMAGE. WITHOUT LIMITING THE
FOREGOING, PURCHASER ASSUMES ALL RISK AND
LIABILITY FOR LOSS, DAMAGE OR INJURY TO PURCHASER
