CurrencyExchangeFunction
SetCurrencyFunction:
1. Press andholdthe <CU R>buttonforabout3secondsandthen the “CUR”iconwill blink onthe toprowin the LCD
screen.
2. Inputthe currency exchangerate(forexample, ifthe exchangerateis1:7.8, input 7.8),andthen press the <CUR>button
to savethe rate.
3. Tochangethe currency exchangerate, repeatsteps 1& 2.
CalculateCurrencyExchange:
1. Tomultiple anumberwiththe currency exchangerate, press the <CUR>buttonto show the “CUR”icononthetoprow
in the LCDscreen, then inputthe numbertobe calculated,andthen press the <CUR>buttonto getthe result.
2. Todivideanumberby the currency exchangerate, press the <CUR>buttonto hide the “CUR”iconfrom the toprowin
the LCDscreen,then inputthe numbertobe calculated,andthen press the <CUR>buttonto obtain the result.
Send Function
Press thisbuttontosendthe numbershown onthe LCDscreen to yourcomputer(ifconnectedandawordprocessor(e.g.
Microsoft®Word)isopen).
Backspace
Thiskey functionsasthe <Backspace>key onyourkeyboard.

Installation:
YourKeypadcanbe operatedwithone AAA battery orbyconnectingthe enclosedUSBcable fromyourKeypadto yourcomputer.For
instructionsonbothoftheseoperatingmethods,pleaserefertothe appropriatesectionbelow:
Using YourKeypadWithTheRetractable USB Cable:
1. Toadjustthe lengthofthe Retractable USBCable,pullbothendsofthe cable carefully (NOTE:the maximumlengthofthe USB
cable isapproximately 30 inches).
2. Toretractthe Retractable USBCable,pull bothendsofthe cable by approximately ½”to unlockthe cable andslowly retractit
backinto the cable retractor.
3. Turnonyourcomputerandwaitforitto load.
4. Connectthe RetractableUSB Cable to thesmall USBportonthe topofyourKeypad,andthen connectthe otherendto an
available USBportonyourcomputer.
5. YourcomputerwilldetectyourKeypad,andthe necessary driverswill be installedautomatically.
NOTE: Dependingonsystemdifferences,the “Found NewHardwareWizard”(or“Add NewHardwareWizard”forWindows
®ME)
may appear.If thisoccurs,followthe on-screen instructionstoinstall yourKeypadwiththedefaultoption(s)andcompletethe installation.

Using YourKeypadWithABattery:
1. Toinstall abattery intoyourKeypad,removethe BatteryCompartmentCover onthe backofthe Keypad,andinstall the enclosed
AAA battery into yourKeypadfollowingthe battery orientationguidein the battery bay,andthen slidethe coverbackonto your
Keypaduntil itsecurely locks.
2. Turnonthe PowerSwitch onthe backofyourKeypad.
3. YourKeypadisnowready to be usedin CALC(Calculator)mode.
4. After 5minutesofidle time, yourKeypadwill turnoffautomatically toconservebattery power.Toresume, press the <MODE/ON >
buttononyourKeypad.

UsingtheUSBHub:
Thereisabuilt-in USBhub onyourKeypadthatgivesyoutwoadditionalUSBports.Tousethe USBhub onyourKeypad,pleasefollowthe
instructionsbelow:
1. Make sureyourcomputeristurnedonandyouhaveproperly installedyourKeypadfollowingthe Installation sectionin thismanual.
2. ConnectaUSBdeviceinto oneofthe USBportsonthe topofyourKeypad.
3. YourcomputerwilldetecttheUSBdeviceconnectedto yourKeypad.
4. Dependingonthe USBdeviceyouareconnectingto yourKeypad,pleasereferto yourUSBdeviceuser’smanualto completethe
installation.
NOTE: The builtin2portUSBHub cansupportacombinedpowerconsumptionofapproximately300mAto the device(s)connectedtothe
Keypad.Itisrecommendedtoconnectonly lowpowerconsumptiondevicessuchasaflashdrive, mouse, keyboard,orany otherlowpower
USBdevicesto the USBHub. USBpoweredenclosuresorUSBharddrivesmightexperienceread/writeerrorsifconnectedto theUSBHub.
