Functions Description
Mode change:
DIGITAL (LEDoff)->ANALOG (RED LED on)->NEGCON (REDLED
flashes)
PROGRAMfunction without memory
•Underthe NEGCON mode,thereisno PROGRAM function
•PROGRAMsourcingbuttonsincludes:buttons1-8, left/righthand
paddles
•The programmablekeyincludes:left/right foot pedals,up/downgear
stick
•PROGRAM method:
oPress and holdthe9+10 buttonsfor3seconds,the green LED

Setfoot pedals as RYaxis function (ANALOG mode)
•Press the 9+10 buttonsfor3 seconds, the greenLED is on
•Press theleftdirection ofD-PAD, greenLEDisoffandthesettings
comesinto effect
Foot pedals hasimitatedAnalog function inDigitalmode
The flash frequencyishigher, the value change isbigger.
Force feedback/ Dualshock function choose
Force feedbackisthe default mode. Press "7+8+9"buttonsto change to
Dualshockmode, the ProgramLED ofDualShockison. Press "7+8+9"
buttonsagainto return to Force feedbackmode.
Troubleshooting
Aftersetting up Software and Hardware, thesteeringwheel still cannot
work:
•Pleasecheckwhetherthesteeringwheelcableiscorrectlyconnected
with yourPC
•Makesurethat the correctoptionsareselected. "GamePortSteering
WheelController"inthe"GameController"of"ControlPanel"is
"Confirmation",and"ControllerID"of"GamePortSteering Wheel

•Makesurethat I/Ovalueof the steeringwheeldon't conflictwithI/Oof

•Please, restartyourPC ifthe steering wheelstillcannot work
The driving system"GembirdSTR-FFB2 steering wheel with force
feedback"cannot be installedorthereis no reaction while testing the
steering wheel afterinstallation.
DirectXVersion istoo low. Please update DirectXto v.7.0 orhigher.
There is no vibration frommotorwhile playing racing games (e.g. Need
forSpeedgame).
Exit the game and reset.Ifit stillcannot worknormally,restartyourPC.
Some analog axes cangointo effectautomaticallyafteryou enterthe
games (e.g. NeedforSpeedgame).
The steering wheelhasn't been calibrated orhasn't been confirmed after
calibrations.
EnterOption -Controllers -Dead Zone to adjust the range ofthe dead zone,
and make sure the axe in the range ofthe dead zone.
The motorkeeps on vibrating while playing the games.
EnterFORCEFEEDBACKand turn downorturnoff the engine.
The intensityof the motorbecomesweak afterentering the games.

EnterFORCEFEEDBACKand adjust the intensityofSTICKVOLUMEand
ROADEFFECTSto be stronger.
You feel itis difficultto make thecorrections on testing platform.
Press "Default"first, and then press "Set".
There is no vibration frommotoron testing platform.
DirectXVersion istoo low. Please update to DirectXv.7.0 orhigher.
You cannot find the driving systemof thesteeringwheel after
connecting the steering wheel to PC.
The problemcaused during previousinstallation ofdriving system, it jumped
overthe file orwrong pathofthe filewasassigned while the path ofthe
concerned filewasrequiredbyWindows. The resolveis to delete the
corresponding equipment with "!"markunderthe"SomatologicalInput
Equipment","Hidclass" or"Sound, Videoand Game Controller"in Device
Managerofthe operating system, and re-connect thesteering wheelto PC.
