Richtlinie 2012/19/EC zur Behandlung, Sammlung, Wiederverwertung und Entsorgung
von Elektro- und Elektronikgeräten und deren Bestandteile (waste electrical and
electronic equipment –WEEE).
Das durchkreuzte Symbol eines Müllcontainers weist darauf hin, dass das Gerät nicht im
Haushaltsmüll entsorgt werden darf, sondern in dafür ausgerüsteten Sammelzentren zur
sachgemäßen Wiederverwertung bzw. Entsorgung abzugeben ist.

Introduction
• Before starting to use the device, read the operating manual thoroughly and carefully and keep
it in a safe place.
• The operating manual is a component part of the product and contains important information on
using the product safely.
• The operating manual must be available in cases of uncertainty and handed over with the
product when transferred.
Intended Use
The product is only intended for private use in dry, indoor rooms.
Any other use is considered unintended use. Unauthorised modifications or reconstructions are
not permitted and lead to loss of rights to claims under the terms of guarantee.
Safety Instructions
• Packaging, small parts and insulation material must be protected against unauthorized use and
kept out of reach of children.
• Never look directly into the source of light and never point the beam of light towards the eyes of
other people as doing so could cause damage to the eyes.
• Only position and install the product and accessories in a safe place and only use when in a
technically sound condition.
• Protect the product from extreme conditions such as heat and cold, damp and direct sunlight as
well as from mechanical loads.
• Improper use could lead to the battery being damaged and leaking.
• Never deform, burn or short circuit the battery as doing so exposes the risk of explosion or a
fire.
• Never expose the battery to heat, in the form of heating radiators, or fire. The effects of heat
could lead to an explosion and/or the escape of corrosive liquids.
• The lamp may only be opened by properly qualified electricians in order to complete any repair
work.
• Only use a soft, dry cloth to clean the lamp, do not use any cleaning agents or chemicals.
• If the lamp is not used for a longer period, recharge the battery every 3 months to maintain its
capacity.
• The illuminant cannot be replaced.
