Instruction of Connecting Remote 815 & Device
※ There are 3 different methods to make connection between Remote 815 & your Device.
Please click on each one to get the instruction.
1. Auto Search:Let Remote 815 auto search the code for your device.
2. Input Code: If you know the code of your device (record from last auto search) or you find the
code from code list (packed with the Remote 815), you can input the code manually.
3. Learning: If the Auto Search function can’t work and you have the original remote controller on
hand, you can let Remote 815 learn the function from original remote controller.
1. Auto Search
Step 1:
Please press “DEVICE” to select a device.
For example, if you want to connect Remote 815 &
your TV, please press “DEVICE” button until you see
TV on the Device Indicator.
Step 2:
Please turn on your TV.
Step 3:
Please press “SETUP” button for 2 seconds to enter
into setup mode.

Step 4:
Please press “CODE” button.
Step 5:
Please press “AUTO” button. Then Remote 815 will
output pre-programmed codes automatically.
Step 6:
Please aim the Remote 815 at the signal receiver of
your device.

Step 7:
If the device shuts down suddenly, it means you might
have found the remote code of the device.
1. Please press any key to stop the action of Remote
815.
2. Please press the key to test if the device can
be turned on or not.
A. If Remote 815 can not turn on your device,
please go to next step.
B. If Remote 815 can turn on your device,
please go to step 9.
Step 8:
If Remote can’t turn on your device, please press
first.
Then, please press the button to test if Remote
815 can turn on the device or not.
Repeat the procedure in Step 7 until Remote 815 can
turn on the device.
Step 9:
If Remote 815 can turn on the device, please press
“OK” button to save the code.

Step 10:
Then, if you may want to write down the code of this
device (maybe you can input the code manually next
time), you can follow step 10~13 to get the code.
If you don’t need the code number, please just skip this
part.
To get the code number of this device, please press
“SETUP” button for 2 seconds to enter into setup
mode.
Step 11:
Please press “CODE” button.
Step 12:
Please press “DISPLAY” button.
Step 13:
Then, you will see 4 numbers shown on the LCD of
Remote 815. This is the code of your device.
For example, if you see “0” -> “2” -> “7” -> “3” shown
on the LCD, then, the code of your device is 0273.
So, next time, you can input this code to Remote 815
directly.

2. Input Code manually
Step 1:
Please press “DEVICE” to select a device.
For example, if you want to connect Remote 815 &
your TV, please press “DEVICE” button until you see
TV on the Device Indicator.
Step 2:
Please find the code list in the package of your Remote
815. Look for the brand of your home device. In
general, a brand may have several sets of codes, and
you have to confirm the actual code by going through
the list.
Step 3:
Please press “SETUP” button for 2 seconds to enter
into setup mode.

Step 4:
There are 4 numbers for each code. Input the numbers
in sequence.
After you input 4 numbers of one code, you will see an
“OK” message on Remote 815.
PS. If you see “ERROR” instead of “OK”, please input
the code again until you see “OK”.
Step 5:
Please press the button to test if Remote 815
can turn on the device or not.
※If you want to know which codes you just input,
please follow Step 6~7 to display the codes on LCD of
Remote 815.
※Repeat the Step 4~5 until Remote 815 can turn
on the device. Then, please go to Step 8.
Step 6:
To know the codes you have entered, please press
“DISPLAY” button.

Step 7:
Then, you will see 4 numbers shown on the LCD of
Remote 815.
For example, if you see “0” -> “2” -> “7” -> “3” shown
on the LCD, then, the code is 0273.
Step 8:
If Remote 815 can turn on the device, please press
“OK” button to leave the setting mode.
Once you find the correct code of your device, you can
follow Step 5~6 to know the correct code of your
device. Then, you may write down the code of this
device and can input this code to Remote 815 directly
if necessary.
3. Learning
Step 1:
To use the learning function, make sure that you have
prepare the original remote controller of the device
ready.
Then, please press “DEVICE” to select a device.
For example, if you want to connect Remote 815 &
your TV, please press “DEVICE” button until you see
TV on the Device Indicator.

Step 2:
Please press “SETUP” button for 2 seconds to enter
into setup mode.
Step 3:
Keep 2~4 inches distance away between the Remote
815 & the original remote controller and put them in a
line (as shown on left side).
Step 4:
Please press “LEARN” button on Remote 815.

Step 5:
After you start the learning function, the auto-guide
system starts up in the meantime. So, you will see
keys blinking on the screen of Remote 815.
For example, when the key starts flashing,
press the power button on the original remote
controller to transmit its IR code to Remote 815.
Step 6:
If the flashing key has learnt the IR code
successfully, you will get an “OK” message on the
screen of Remote 815 and you will hear a beep.
Press each learnt key of the original remote controller
until the “OK” message appears on the screen of
Remote 815 and you hear a beep.
Step 7:
Then, the auto-guide system of Remote 815 will
assign the next key automatically. Repeat Step 5~6
until all desired soft keys have been learnt.

Step 8:
If you don’t need to learn the IR code for one soft key
on Remote 815, you can just press the other soft key
and learn the IR Code for this key.
For example, if you don’t want to learn for “ZOOM”
key and you want to learn the PIP function, please just
press “PIP” key on Remote 815. Then, when “PIP”
key flashing on screen, please press the learnt key of
the original remote controller. After “PIP” key learn
the IR code, Remote 815 will assign the next key
automatically. Repeat Step 5~6 until all desired soft
keys have been learnt.
Step 9:
After learning the soft keys, you may want to learn IR
code for hard keys (rubber keys) on Remote 815 also.
Because there is no auto-guide system to support (no
flashing sign on the screen of Remote 815), you need
to press every hard key and assign it manually.
Just press one hard key first, and then press the
corresponding learnt key from the original remote
controller in order to transmit its IR code to Remote
815.
Repeat this step until all desired hard keys have been
learnt.
Step 10:
If you want to quit the learning function, please press
“EXIT” and you can return to SETUP page.
※For some special codes, you might have to learn all keys twice for general operation. As you see
“ERROR” message appears and hear TWO beeps during learning, please press each learnt key of the
original remote once again until you see the “OK” message and hear only ONE beep. Otherwise, you
will see the “ERROR” message blinking once and hear THREE beeps if the learning fails.
