This full HD two ways recording rear view mirror is equipped with a 170-degree super wide-angle
camera which has 20% wider field vision than normal one.
You can record HD videos from front and rear cameras at the same time. Under photographing mode,
it can reach 5 million pixels. Under video recording mode, it can be 2 million pixels, 30 frames per
second and the image is clear and smooth. It has a built-in 4.5 inch high brightness LCD monitor.
Brightness of monitor can be automatically adjusted as ambient light changes. It also comes with a
special remote control, with simpler operation. A series of powerful features is your guard for safe
driving, such as G-Sensor, motion detect, etc.

2.1 How to install mirror

Different cars have different brackets. It depends on your vehicle maker and manufacturer.
There are many methods to remove the original rear-view mirror, however, please don’t force the
mirror off the bracket.
The manufacturer will not be responsible for damage caused to your car by wrong installation of the
mirror.
2.1.2 Install DVR mirror monitor on the base
We have many kinds of bracket that are suitable for your car, but we will not provide all kinds of it,
because the package space is limited.
If you can't find the same picture of the bracket here as your car, please contact the sales.
Please confirm the bracket with us firstly before purchasing our mirror.

2.4 How to wire—without original backup camera in car
Aer the mirror is mounted, the cable should be spread along the roof lining and the pillar. You need
to check the voltage in auto fuse box to ensure the correct wiring of car rear view mirror.
A good installaon posion is very important. Usually, the rear camera is fixed at the top of the license
plate where there's an under ledge. When you're driving, the mirror will record the front view all the
me. When it turns to reversing mode, the rear camera would start to record automacally. Moreover,
the rear view image will be displayed on the LCD monitor, allowing you check the situaon and giving
you safe driving.

Because this DVR rear view mirror is two ways recording simultaneously, the front camera of
mirror, and the second way camera we added will be in working condition all the time, so a high-
quality camera is recommended. Switch camera step-down part is low fever power step-down
scheme, the traditional module step-down camera.
The mirror can always display the rear image and provide the car rear information for you when
you drive.
Many car recording products can only provide one way recording. There are a lot of limitations,
recording the front image only, the accident behind the vehicle can’t be recorded, resulting in
unnecessary losses to the customer, and waste of time.

The thickness of our mirror’s glass is 4mm. It is strong enough to bear impact and reach every country’s
safety standards on rearview mirror.

3.5 System language setting
Eight languages are available, you can choose one you prefer.
Under stop recording mode, press “Menu” buon twice to enter system seng menu, find the
“language” by “up” and “down” buons, press “REC” to enter language seng menu, press “up” and
“down” buons to select the “language” you prefer, then press “REC” buon to make sure selecon.
Under stop recording mode, press “Menu” buon twice to enter system setup menu, find “input date”
menu by "up" and "down" buons, press “REC” to enter next menu, then select “seng” setup date.

“1080P” “720P”. Under stop recording mode, press the “Menu” buon to enter video seng menu,
find “resoluon” seng menu by “up” and “down” buons, next press ”REC” buon to enter
resoluon seng menu, next press “up” and “down” buons to select different resoluon, finally
press “REC” buon to make sure.

Aer selecng “ON”, you can set up license plate number, please note: the first opon is the short tle
of Chinese provinces, Chinese customers please select the number according to your license number.
Foreign customers needn’t choose the first opon, press “up” or “down” buon to enter blank opon,
press the “REC” buon to confirm the first opon and switch to second opon at the same me. The
second opon is leer input by default. If you need number input, long press “REC” buon. Next press
“up” or “down” to change to different number or leer. Then press the “REC” buon to confirm the
second opon and change to the third opon at the same me. So the license number seng can be
completed.

menu, find "Voice Recording" by pressing “UP" and "DOWN" buons, then press the "REC" to turn
"On" "Off" voice recording.
This 1080P DVR rear view mirror monitor has loop recording funcon, to ensure enough memory, new
recorded video files will auto overwrite the pre-recorded one .
Dual recording can be available on this DVR rear view mirror, the front camera is 1080P recording, the
rear camera is the VGA recording. Users can choose if you want to synchronize the video by menu
seng. If you choose "Off", the mirror will record only the front of the car. If you choose "On" , it will
record the front and rear of car at the same me. Under stop recording mode, choose "MENU" buon
to enter the video seng mode. Find "DualRecord" by "UP" and "DOWN" buons, press "REC" to
select "Off" / "On" dual recording.
This DVR rear view mirror supports that is aer finishing recording a video, then Time-lapse recording
connue recording a moment later. Because interval me is very short, it will not cause image
omissions. The purpose is that under stop recording mode, pressing "MEMU" buon to enter the
video seng menu and find "Interval Recording" by "UP" and "DOWN", then press "REC" to select
Interval me, such as "Off" "100ms” "200ms" "500ms" .

3.17 Switch PIP display
Stop recording and press “MENU” buon to enter video seng model. Choose “Sensivity” by
pressing “UP” and “DOWN” buon. Press “REC” buon to choose a suitable sensivity of G-sensor
from “High/Normal/Low/Off”.
You can maximum save 5 G-sensor videos. The 6th G-sensor video will overwrite the 1st one. If G-
sensor is off, the mirror will not immediately save the current video though car crashes. If you choose
high-sensivity G-sensor, recorded video will be saved as G-sensor file though there is mirror shake. If
you choose low sensivity, then G-sensor video will only be saved when car crashes heavily.
As memory of sd card is limited, users hope that the DVR mirror can only record the dynamic video.
Then moon detect can achieve this. This DVR mirror can start to record when it defects moving
objects.
Under stop recording mode and press “MENU” buon to enter video seng menu. Find and choose
“Moon Detect” through pressing “UP” and “DOWN” buons. Press “REC” to choose “On” or “Off” to
turn on/off moon detect .
Press the "REC" buon to turn ON/OFF video recording. When the mirror is recording, press "MENU"
buon, then the current video will be saved as the read-only video file. Press "MODE" buon to turn
ON/OFF volume recording.

4.1.1 Why need dimming function
● To protect drivers from night glare of headlight.
● It is a function that can improve the car safety level.
● It may cause a series of legal disputes once removed by car dealers or sellers.
4.1.2 How does auto dimming working
The auto-dimming of our mirror works automatically when you start the engine, and the indicator will
light up. The light sensor in the back of the rear view mirror will always detect the ambient light. The
auto-dimming doesn't work in the broad day for the adequate daylight. However, when night falls and
the ambient light is weak, the auto-dimming starts to work and automatically dims to eliminate the
glare of rearward-approaching vehicles. Furthermore, the degree of brightness of the auto-dimming
glass depends on the level of the light. The stronger the light from the back of the car is, the darker the
glass is. Hence it protects drivers from becoming dizzy and avoiding car accident.

Stop recording and press “MENU” buon twice to enter into system seng menu .Choose “Auto lcd
off” by “UP” and “DOWN” buons. Press “REC” buon to choose from Off/30 secs /1 min / 2 mins /
3 mins / 5 mins / 10 mins .
Under the stopping recording mode, press “MODE” buon to enter to the playing mode, press “UP”
“DOWN” to switch front ward file and backward file quickly, press “REC” then you can play /pause the
video , press “MENU” buon to enter into the playing seng mode : The user can choose “Delete”
“Protect” the video file .Enter to the delete file seng, press “Delete” then you can choose “delete
this file / delete all files” , press “ Protect” then you can choose “Lock this file” “Lock all the files”
“Unlock all the files”.
