especially the safety instructions, and keep the instruction
manual for future use.
Should you give this device to another person, it is vital that you
also pass on these instructions for use.
This instruction manual belongs to this device.
It contains important information about starting up and operation.

Do not use the heated cushion when it is
folded!

Only use the heated cushion indoors!
The heating pad can be washed by hand! You
may wash the cushion cover in a normal wash
at max. 30 °C!
Do not chlorinate!
Do not dry the heated cushion in a tumble
drier!
The cushion cover may not be put in a dryer!
Do not iron the heated cushion!
You may iron the cushion cover at a low tem-
perature!
Do not dry clean!
SAFETY INFORMATION
•Carefully check the heat pad before each use, if you noce wear or
damage.
•Do not use if you noce wear, damage or signs of improper use on
the device, the switch or the cables or if the device is not working.
•Before connecng the device to your power supply, please ensure
that the supply voltage stated on the rang plate is compable with
your mains supply.
•Do not fold or crease the heat pad during use.
•Neither pierce the pad with, nor aach safety pins or other spiky or
sharp objects to the pad.
• Do not use the device on children or persons who are disabled, asle-
ep or insensive to heat (persons who cannot react on overheang).
• Children below the age of 3 years are not allowed to use this devi-
ce, because they are not able to react on overheang.
• The device must not be used by young children over the age of
3 years, unless the control unit has been adjusted accordingly by
its parents or legal guardians or unless the child has been well
instructed how to use the control unit properly.
•This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilies
or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given super-
vision or instrucon concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazardisnvolved.
•Child ren shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
•Never use the pad unsupervised.
•The deviceis only for private use and is not to be used in hospitals.
•Do not fall asleep while the heat pad is switched on.
•Prolonged use of the heated cushion at a high seng could lead to
skin burns.
•Do not cover the pad with any other cushions. The control switch
should not be covered or placed on or below the pad while the unit
is in operaon.
•Do not sit on the heat pad. Instead, rest the pad on or against the
part of the body to be treated. The intended use of the is to treat
only back and neck.
•Never touch a heat pad that has fallen into water. Unplug the unit
from the mains outlet immediately.
•Keep the mains lead away from hot surfaces.
•Never carry, pull or turn the heat pad by the mains lead and do not
let the lead get tangled.
•Do not use the heat pad when wet and only use it in dry environ-
ments (not in the bathroom or similar environments).
• The controls and leads must not be exposed to any kind of moisture.
•If a fault occurs, do not aempt to repair the unit yourself.
•Repairs must only be carried out by an authorized specialist dealer
or other suitably qualied personnel.
•If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manu-
facturer, its service agent or similarly qualied persons in order to
avoid a hazard.
•A damaged power supply cable must be replaced with a power
cable of the same type.
• Heat pad may only be operated with the control unit (SS02) supplied.
•When storing the heat pad, allow it to cool down before folding.
• Should you have any concerns about health issues, consult your
doctor before using the heat pad.
•Do not use the heat pad on parts of the body that are swollen,
injured or inamed.
•Should you experience persistent pains in the muscles and joints,
please inform your doctor. Persistent pains can be a symptom of
serious illness.
•If you experience any pain or discomfort while using the unit, stop
using it immediately.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Heat pad
• Before cleaning the pad, unplug it from the mains outlet and let it
cool down for at least ten minutes.
• The heang pad is equipped with a detachable cable. Disconnect
the plug and remove the cable from the heang pad.
• You may wash the heang pad gently by hand. The best way to do
this is to put the heang pad in a bath with lukewarm water and some
mild detergent and then gently squeeze it out.
• Rinse the heang pad several mes to remove all the detergent.
• Store the unit in a clean and dry place, laid out at with nothing
covering or resng on top of it.
• Only use the applianceonce it is completely dry.

Disposal: The product must not be disposed of along with other
domestic waste. The users must dispose of this equipment by
bringing it to a specic recycling point for electric and electronic
equipment.
