7
Monopolar capacitive handpiece
Ergonomic handpiece for capacitive treatments. The handpiece is designed for a
plug-in connection which facilitates the resistive electrode insertion.
Size 110 x 70 mm, weight 230 g
Electrodes
The electrodes are made of steel and consist of a brass pin to make the connection
with the handpiece. The capacitive electrodes are upholstered with an insulating
and biocompatible material.
The resistive electrodes are isolated only on the upper surface, so as to protect the
contact between the operator's hand and the plate.
The measures available for both electrodes are Ø 70-50-30 mm.
Bipolar handpiece
The bipolar handpiece allows treatment with resistive mode without the need to
use the neutral plate as the counter electrode. The conductive surface is composed
of two contact points in biocompatible nickel, the inner one is cylindrical and the
outer one is circular, concentric to each other and separated by an insulating ring.
Every single part is connected to one of the poles of the connecting cable. The
diameter of the bipolar handpiece supplied is Ø 30 mm.

Self-treatment kit
The self-treatment kit is composed of a series of accessories useful to carry out the
treatments in automatic mode. All the accessories can also be purchased
separately.
Resistive and neutral Cable "A" for
connection between the device and the
fixed electrode, with male connection (Ø 4
mm).
Adapter that connects to the cable "A" two
cables "B" with Ø 4 mm connection. The
adapter is useful when you want to use
more than two automatic electrodes.
Resistive and neutral Cable "B" for
connection between the adapter and two
fixed electrodes, with Ø 4 mm connection.
Cable "C" which serves as adapter allowing
the connection between a 4 mm female
connection and a 2 mm male connection.
Resistive and neutral.
Reusable silicone flexible rectangular
electrode, with carbon area of 150x200
mm size. The connection consists of 2
inlets (Ø 4 mm). Use a single connection

9
for the connection between the electrode
and the cable.
Reusable silicone flexible round electrode,
with carbon area. Dimensions of Ø 75 mm
and female connection (Ø 2 mm).
Bag with preformed gel discs for round
electrode (Ø 85 mm).
Bag with preformed gel slabs for
rectangular electrode.
Elastic Velcro band to attach the electrodes
to the subject. Dimensions: 80x800 mm
Soft bag for storing cables and electrodes.
Active neutral handpiece kit
The active neutral handpiece is an accessory that allows to use the neutral counter
electrode in a dynamic way. By using this accessory you can make a treatment
gripping the neutral handpiece with one hand and the capacitive or resistive
handpiece with the other. In this way, it will be possible to obtain a very precise
transfer of energy to the treatment area.
The kit consists of a handpiece and a non-insulated electrode whose size is Ø 50
mm.

ALARMS
The operator should place the device so that the distribution signals are always
audible and visible.
Acoustic signals
The sound signals used in this device have 2 sequences and are composed of the
following notes:
-Medium priority sequence: C D E
-High priority sequence: C D E - F G
NB: A = la • B = si • C = do • D = re • E = mi • F = fa • G = sol
CDE alarm: it sounds when the device is emitting and it repeats every 9 seconds.
CDE-EF "open or short handpiece" alarm: it is related to visual alarms, but it is
visualized after 2".
Meaning
Icons for signaling contact between the handpieces, non-contact between the
handpieces and short-circuited handpieces.
During treatment, it will be warned an alarm sound at 20-second
intervals that accompanies the correct emission and good contact
between the electrodes and the subject. At the same time, the emission
symbol will flash on the display.
If during the treatment, a change of the alarm tones is noticed and the
symbol X appears on the display it means that:

-the correct contact between the electrode and the subject has been
lost. If it often happens during the same treatment we recommend
that you calibrate the electrode.
-the handpieces are not suitable for the treatment. For example a
capacitive electrode is used to perform a resistive program.
It appears if the two electrodes are in contact.
Alerts off
It is possible to turn the short-circuited and sound alerts off. If these alarms are
disabled their icons will be displayed during the execution of the programs.
During the execution of the treatment on small areas and with uneven
surfaces (for example the hand, ankle ...), the device can record an excessive
production of current triggering a protection alarm. If it needs to happen you can
disable the short-circuited handpiece alarm pressing the contextual menu when
you run the program and clicking "ok" to the question "Are you sure you want to
disable the alarm?".
This icon indicates that the sound alerts are disabled.

Protections against device overheating
The power limitation thresholds are:
Internal temperature of 55°C, indicated by a fixed yellow icon. The
power is limited to 75% in respect to the set point in normal conditions
Internal temperature of 60°C, indicated by a fixed orange icon. The
power is limited to 65% in respect to the set point in normal
conditions.
Internal temperature of 65°C, indicated by a fixed red icon. The power
is limited to 50% in respect to the set point in normal conditions.
Internal temperature of 70°C.
The power is automatically lowered to 0% and an acoustic signal (CDE-FG
CDE-FG) is repeated every 3 s (Td=100ms, Ts=50ms, Tb=3s).
