1.- INTRODUCTION
•The machine is prepared to sell tobacco in different formats, from a
short format to an extra long format.
•The partitions and extractors are moveable, so they can be adjusted to
different tobacco formats.
•It is possible to modify the machine variables very easily to adapt it to
the needs of each customer.
•The machine is designed for indoor use.
2.- SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•The machine should be attached to the wall to ensure its verticality.
•Check mains characteristics coincide with the machine’s and that the
machine is properly grounded.
•Access to the electrical parts of the machine only can be done by
authorized personnel.
•Before handling any component, disconnect the machine from mains.
•Should the mains cable be damaged call our technical support service.
•The machine should not be used for any purpose other than that
indicated by the manufacturer.
•The manufacturer shall not assume any liability for damages arising from
improper use of the machine.
•Always maintain the machine as indicated in the maintenance
instructions.
•This machine is not intended for be used by people (including children)
whose physical, sensory and mental abilities were reduced or they
haven’t the necessary experience or instructions about the use of the
machine by a person in charge of their security.
•Children should be supervised to be sure they don’t play with the
machine.
•The installation of this machine is not suitable in a place where flows of
water could be used.
•The machine won´t be cleaned with flows of water.
Read these instructions carefully before
starting up the machine.

5.- INSTALLATION AND START-UP
5.1.- ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
•Ensure mains connection is 230 VAC, 50 Hz and 10 A, with a socket with
grounding (same type as machine plug).
•Installation should meet Low Voltage Installation Regulations.
•Once you have installed the machine, check the effectiveness of the
ground connection.
5.2.- LEVELLING
•Once the machine has been placed in its final
location, adjust the legs until it is completely
stable.
5.3.- START-UP
•Connect the machine to mains and press
the main switch. The machine will carry
out an internal check and finally the
selection buttons appear.
•Once the machine has been started-up, before disconnecting the
machine from mains, press the main switch to off and wait at least 40
seconds.
•In order to switch the machine on again, this should stay at least 40
seconds off.
5.4.- RELATIONSHIP PRODUCT CHANNEL/SELECTIONS
•The Avant machines, have a selection touch screen.
•When loading product, note the relationship between product channels
and selection buttons.
•All machines have a label where the relationship between product
channels and selection buttons are indicated.
•If the machine has more selection buttons than product channels, you
will need to combine product channels. (See Chapter 01.19 of the
programming options.).
•When loading the tobacco check that the packets are not stuck to one
another.

5.5.- MAKING A PURCHASE
1. Ask authorization to the waiter or person in charge of the machine, who
will verify the majority to allow the purchase. Once verified, via a remote
control, he will activate the machine to make a single purchase.
2. Enter the money in the machine. As the money is entered, the touch
screen will show the total of the accepted amount. Rejected coins will be
placed in the coin return box.
3. When the desired product price has been reached or exceeded, press
the corresponding selection and it will soon be delivered through the
tray for collecting product. The change, if any, will be collected at the
coin return box.
6.- PROGRAMMING
Access to programming options:
Pressing the programming button, placed inside the machine, the screen
will show the current option name and number. In order to enter in touch
screen configuration options, press the programming button of the touch
screen placed in its lower part.

The programming options are shown using four-digit code:
YX.ZZ
ZZ: Option number. Value between 00 and 99.
X: Sub-option number. Value between 0 and 9. Option enabled (X=1) or
disabled (X=0).
Y: Sub-option number. Value between 0 and 9. Option enabled (Y=1) or
disabled (Y=0).
Moving between options:
•Programming button (P-PROG): Enters and exits programming.
•
( Programming keyboard): Changes to a superior option.
•
( Programming keyboard): Changes to an inferior option.
•
( Programming keyboard): Enters in the option.
•C (Programming keyboard): Changes to the desired option.
1. Enter the desired option (ZZ).
2. Press key C.
If you press Cwithout entering any option, it will return to the previous option.
If you enter an option that does not exist or that cannot be accessed, the
program will go to the next accessible option or will exit programming.

7.- MAINTENANCE
7.1.- DIAGNOSTIC OF MALFUNCTIONING
Switch off and on the machine before
calling the Technical Service
In view of an error, press programming button and check if the
problem has disappeared.
If the error is still there, take a look at the list below which shows the
messages that the screen may display and the possible solutions.
ERROR iN extractor number xx
The machine says product sold out when there is stock.
Error: Extractor out of order. The screen displays the extractor number.
ERR. Coin box flap
The machine does not accept any coin.
Error: The machine cannot activate the charging flap of the escrow.
ERR. return flap
The machine does not accept any coin.
Error: The machine cannot activate the devolution flap of the escrow.
ERR. Re ect button
The machine does not accept any coin.
Deprog. Prices
Error: Prices deprogrammed.
Solution: Program them again.

When switching on the machine there will appear the following messages:

7.2.- CLEANING MACHINE EXTERIOR
Do not use any spray to clean the outside of the machine. Use
lukewarm water (between 20ºC and 40ºC) with dishwashing liquid, shampoo
or glass cleaner without bio alcohol.
To rinse the machine use a 2% solution of vinegar (acetic acid) in
water and dry with a soft cloth.
For persistent stains use a 1% solution of sanitary alcohol in water
7.3.- NOTES EXTRACTION FROM STACKER
Unblock the stacker
(notes box) pushing the showed
tab in the picture from left located in its lower part, and pushing
it downwards and outwards.
Once extracted from the
machine, remove the notes by
opening the door of the stacker.
In those with lower door, press the showed tab in the
right picture. For those with lateral doors, just turn the
door and take the notes.
