Specication

the tool immediately and check the ear protection is correctly tted and provides the correct level
of sound attenuation for the level of sound produced by your tool.

instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the

1 - Keep work area clear - Cluttered areas and benches invite injuries

15 - Disconnect tools - Disconnect tools from the power supply when not in use, before
servicing and when changing accessories such as blades, bits and cutters

WARNING: Do not use the tool if the on/off switch does not switch the tool on and off. The switch
must be repaired before the tool is used.
21 - Have your tool repaired by a qualied person - This electric tool complies with the
relevant safety rules. Repairs should only be carried out by qualied persons, otherwise
this may result in considerable danger to the user

WARNING: If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an
authorised service centre.
22 - Power tool mains plugs must match the mains socket - Never modify the plug in any
way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodied
plugs and matching sockets will reduce risk of electric shock
23 - If operating a power tool outside use a residual current device (RCD) - Use of an RCD
reduces the risk of electric shock
NOTE: The term “residual current device (RCD)” may be replaced by the term “ground fault circuit
interrupter (GFCI)” or “earth leakage circuit breaker (ELCB)”.
WARNING: Before connecting a tool to a power source (mains switch power point receptacle,
outlet, etc.) be sure that the voltage supply is the same as that specied on the nameplate of the
tool. A power source with a voltage greater than that specied for the tool can result in serious
injury to the user, and damage to the tool. If in doubt, do not plug in the tool. Using a power source
with a voltage less than the nameplate rating is harmful to the motor.
Polarized Plugs (for North America only) To reduce the risk of electric shock, this equipment
has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will t in a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not t fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t, contact a
qualied electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.

Wood Flooring Saw Safety
WARNING: The rated speed of the saw blade must be at least equal to the maximum speed
marked on the power tool. Accessories running faster than their rated speed can break and y
apart.
WARNING: ALWAYS disconnect the wood ooring saw from the power supply before carrying out
any inspection, maintenance or cleaning.
WARNING: ALWAYS wear suitable cut-proof gloves when handling the table saw blade. Not doing
so may result in cuts, or harm to the operator.
• Never try to cut multiple workpieces at a time. Workpieces ‘stacked’ or positioned adjacent to
one another cannot be adequately supported, and may move during operation.
• Ensure the ooring saw is positioned/mounted on a sturdy, secure, and at horizontal surface.
Failing to do this could cause the saw to move uncontrollably during use.
• Ensure the workpiece is adequately supported before performing any cutting tasks. Use of
external clamps and guides is recommended to prevent the workpiece from deviating off the
cutting path.
• When working with oversized workpieces, always ensure adequate support is provided in the
form of support structures, saw horses, table extensions and clamps.
• Keep bystanders at a minimum distance of 10 metres from the wood ooring saw during
operation. Do not use bystanders to provide additional support to the workpiece during
operation.
• When securing the workpiece, ensure the cut-off section of the workpiece is not conned to
an area. The cut-off section of the workpiece should be allowed to move freely away from the
saw blade once cut.
• Always allow the saw blade to reach its normal operating speed before commencing a cut.
• ALWAYS use push sticks or a push block where appropriate, to prevent the workpiece from
moving. Use additional clamps to hold down the workpiece wherever possible.
• Flooring saws are to be used for cutting wood, synthetic wood and similar materials only. This
tool is incompatible with cut-off wheels designed specically for cutting other material types
such as metals, glass and stone, so must not be used to cut these materials
• Always check the workpiece for compatibility before operation, and ensure there are no foreign
objects embedded in the workpiece. Do not use excessively bowed or warped workpieces. If
bowed or warped workpieces are to be used, ensure that contact is maintained between the
fence and table surface.
• Maintain a clean, debris-free work surface at all times. Before beginning a cutting operation,
check the entire table surface for obtrusive objects and debris that may hinder the tool’s
performance.
• Never feed the workpiece into the blade. The workpiece must be clamped and stationary at
all times during the cutting procedure. Guide the saw blade through the workpiece slowly to
produce a cleaner cut and not overload the motor.
Kickback Prevention
Note: Kickback occurs when the blade stalls rapidly, as a result from being pinched, bound or
misaligned, and drives the workpiece back towards the operator. It can also pull the operator’s
hand into the blade, resulting in serious injury.
WARNING: Kickback is the result of saw misuse and/or incorrect operating procedures or
conditions. However, if precautions are taken, kickback forces can be controlled by the operator,
or avoided altogether:
a) ALWAYS use the saw with the riving knife (also known as ‘spreader’) installed. NEVER
remove the riving knife, to prevent the kerf from closing on to the blade.
b) NEVER attempt to cut with a dull or warped blade. ALWAYS ensure the blade is suitable
for the material to be cut.
c) ALWAYS ensure the rip fence is parallel to the blade. If the fence tilts inward towards
the blade, the workpiece may come into contact with the back edge of the blade, and may
be thrown back towards the user uncontrollably as a result.
d) NEVER use the rip fence and mitre gauge simultaneously. This can lead to serious
kickback and severe injury.
e) Use CAUTION when cutting large sheets. Ensure larger stock is properly supported by
adequate in-feed and out-feed supports.
f) DO NOT cut round stock or workpieces that cannot lay at on the table. Avoid cutting
twisted, distorted or knotty wood.
g) DO NOT cut wet wood, as it produces higher friction against the saw blade. Wet sawdust
can accumulate on the blade, further increasing the likelihood of kickback.
h) ALWAYS maintain a rm grip on the workpiece, with both hands, and position your
arms to resist kickback forces.
i) Stay out of blade path and position your body to either side of the blade, but not in line
with the blade.
j DO NOT back out of the cut. If you have to interrupt a cut before it is complete, switch
the saw off, and remove the workpiece from the saw, once the blade has stopped spinning.
k) PREVENT workpieces from dropping on to the blade. DO NOT attempt to perform plunge
cuts with your table saw.
l) ALWAYS use push sticks or push block where appropriate, to guide the workpiece
through the blade. Use feather boards to hold down the workpiece wherever possible

Unpacking Your Tool
• Carefully unpack and inspect your new tool. Familiarise yourself with all its features and
functions
• Ensure that all parts of the tool are present and in good condition. If any parts are missing or
damaged, have such parts replaced before attempting to use this tool

Before Use
WARNING: Ensure the tool is disconnected from the power supply before attaching or
changing any accessories, or making any adjustments.
Assembly
1. Attach the Feet (18) to the four corners of the saw using the Feet Fixings (17) supplied
(Image A)
2. Attach the Handle (15) to the Handle Mounting Position (2) (Image B)
3. Slide the Dust Bag (13) onto the Dust Extraction Port (10) (Image C)
Notes:
• A vacuum can be connected to the Dust Extraction Port (10) instead of the Dust Bag (13) (this
will provide superior extraction)
• Never operate the saw without either the Dust Bag or a vacuum connected
• Empty the Dust Bag every 10-15 minutes during use and at the end of every session. The
dust produced could be of a ammable nature and may contain polyurethanes or linseed oil.
Allowing the Dust Bag to get full will force the dust back into the saw mechanism and it could
ignite. Always follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for the materials being cut
The Saw Blade (19) is pre-tted but as part of the assembly process it is recommended the user
checks that the blade is securely tightened. Refer to the ‘Replacing the saw blade’ section on how
to access and tighten the blade securing bolt.
Check the Throat Plate (6) is in good condition.
WARNING: The saw must not be operated if either side of the Throat Plate is damaged or missing.
Saw installation
• Position the saw on a solid, at work surface. An anti-vibration rubber mat can be placed
between the saw and the work surface to reduce vibration and prevent movement during use
on some surfaces.
• The saw can also be attached to a worktop or other surface by using extended length bolts or
screws than those supplied. In this instance the bolts would pass through the worktop and the
Feet (18) before being screwed into the aluminium frame of the saw. Alternatively the saw can
be mounted on a longer board that allows the saw to be clamped to a worktop with the clamps
at a position that will not interfere with the saw’s operation. Securing the saw to a worktop or
other stable, strong surface will ensure maximum safety during operation.
WARNING: Using this tool with a portable workbench can be dangerous. Make sure there is no
risk of the workbench collapsing or toppling during use.
Operation
WARNING: ALWAYS wear eye protection, adequate respiratory and hearing protection, as
well as suitable gloves, when working with this tool.
Switching on and off
IMPORTANT: Before plugging the wood ooring saw into mains power, press the OFF button to
ensure the saw will not switch on immediately when plugged in.
• To switch the laminate saw ON, press the green button marked ‘ I’ on the On/Off Switch (1)
• To switch the laminate saw OFF, press the red button marked ‘O’, (Image D)
Performing a rip cut
Note: In this mode the saw cuts in a xed position and the workpiece is moved in the same way
as a table saw.
1. Lock the saw in the rip position by securing the Rip Lock (3) in the Rip Lock Fixing Point (4),
(Image E)
2. Set the Rip Fence (5) to the depth required for the cut and lock in position (Image F)
3. Switch on the tool (see ‘Switching the unit on and off’) and allow the Saw Blade (19) to reach
full speed
4. Holding the workpiece against the rip fence, slowly feed the workpiece into the saw (Image G)
5. Towards the end of the cut, use the Push Stick (7) to guide the workpiece so that your hands
do not enter the cut zone close to the Cut Line Indicator (8) (Image H)
6. Once the cut is complete, switch off the saw and disconnect the tool from mains power
Note: The Push Stick should be stored with the saw after use. It slots into the front side of the
base for storage.
Performing a crosscut
Note: In crosscut and mitre cut mode, the workpiece is xed and the saw moves across the
workpiece as it cuts.
• In crosscut and mitre cut modes, disengage the Rip Lock (3) from the Rip Lock Fixing Point (4)
• If the Cut Line Indicator (8) does not indicate the centre of the cut correctly after cutting, adjust
with a screwdriver
1. Remove the Rip Fence (5) and set aside
2. Slot the Crosscut Fence (11) into the hole (Image I), then secure in position with the Fence
Locking Knob (14)
3. Insert the Clamp Arm (12) into the corresponding slot, (Image J)
4. Lift the Clamp Arm, slide the workpiece onto the bed and clamp the workpiece to the bed,
(Image K)
5. Switch on the tool (see ‘Switching the unit on and off’) and allow the Saw Blade (19) to reach
full speed
6. Using the Handle (15), slide the saw into the workpiece (Image L)
7. Once the cut is complete, slide the saw back to the starting position
8. Switch off the saw and disconnect the tool from mains power before removing the workpiece
Performing a mitre cut
• Re-position the Crosscut Fence (11) to the desired angle and insert the clamp into the
corresponding slot (Image M)
• Make the cut in the same way as described in ‘Performing a crosscut’

Maintenance
WARNING: ALWAYS disconnect from the power supply before carrying out any inspection,
maintenance or cleaning.
Blade maintenance
• Regularly check the Saw Blade (19) is free from a build-up of gum resins or sawdust. If
necessary clean with a general purpose thin lubricating and penetrating maintenance spray
or mineral turpentine
• Regularly check the Saw Blade for sharpness and that it is not buckled or otherwise damaged.
A blunt or buckled blade places excessive load on the motor and gearbox assembly, and will
affect the quality of cut
Replacing the saw blade
Note: A replacement GMC Saw Blade (19) for this saw is available from your GMC dealer –
product code 162294.
• Never t high speed steel blades or abrasive discs. Fitting of other purpose or different-sized
blades will void the warranty
• Do not t inferior blades. Regularly check the blade is at, sharp and free of cracks or defects
1. Lock the saw in rip cut position, see ‘Performing a rip cut’
2. Remove the screw, keeping the Blade Bolt Cover (9) in place, (Image N)
3. Raise the cover to access the Blade Bolt (20)
4. Depress the Spindle Lock Button (21) and use the Hex Key (16) supplied, to loosen and
remove the Blade Bolt, (Image O)

5. Lift the ange off the spindle and set aside
6. Place the saw on its side and carefully slide the Saw Blade out through the aperture at the
bottom of the blade housing
Note: it may help to use a slotted screwdriver to lift the blade off the shaft, (Image P).
7. Carefully slide the new Saw Blade in through the bottom of the blade housing and position it
on the shaft, ensuring the direction of rotation arrows on the blade are facing the same way as
the direction arrows on the xed guard (Image Q)
8. Ret the ange onto the spindle, then ret the Blade Bolt, (Image R)
9. Check that the blade is seated properly, then depress the Spindle Lock Button and tighten the
bolt rmly with the hex key
10. Ret the Blade Bolt Cover (9)
Throat Plate
• The Throat Plate (6) is in two parts which cover the throat channel that the saw moves along.
If the Throat Plate becomes damaged, purchase a replacement
• The left and right side can be replaced individually and either side can be accessed by simply
moving the saw mechanism to the opposite side. The part needed is identical for the left or
right side. Simply unscrew the existing plate and replace. It is important not to over-tighten as
the plate may warp. For best results, tighten by hand
General inspection
• Regularly check that all the xing screws are tight
• Inspect the supply cord of the tool, prior to each use, for damage or wear. Repairs should be
carried out by an authorised GMC service centre. This advice also applies to extension cords
used with this tool
Cleaning
• Keep your tool clean at all times. Dirt and dust will cause internal parts to wear quickly, and
shorten the machine’s service life. Clean the body of your machine with a soft brush, or dry
cloth. If available, use clean, dry, compressed air to blow through the ventilation holes
• Clean the tool casing with a soft damp cloth using a mild detergent. Do not use alcohol, petrol
or strong cleaning agents
• Never use caustic agents to clean plastic parts
• Do not allow the Dust Bag (13) to become more than three-quarters full before emptying
Lubrication
• Slightly lubricate all moving parts at regular intervals with a suitable spray lubricant
Brushes
WARNING: Internal parts must be replaced by a trained service engineer. Incorrect tting of parts
can be highly dangerous and may damage or even destroy the tool.
• Over time the carbon brushes inside the motor may become worn
• Excessively worn brushes may cause loss of power, intermittent failure, or visible sparking
• If you suspect that the brushes may be worn, have them replaced at an authorised GMC
service centre
Storage
• Store this tool carefully in a secure, dry place out of the reach of children
Disposal
Always adhere to national regulations when disposing of power tools that are no longer functional
and are not viable for repair.
• Do not dispose of power tools, or other waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE),

Specicaties
WAARSCHUWING: Bij een geluidsintensiteit van 85 dB(A) of hoger is het dragen van
gehoorbescherming en het limiteren van de blootstellingstijd vereist. Bij oncomfortabel hoge
geluidsniveaus, zelfs met het dragen van gehoorbescherming, stopt u het gebruik van de machine
onmiddellijk. Controleer de pasvorm en het geluiddempingsniveau van de bescherming.
WAARSCHUWING: Blootstelling aan trilling resulteert mogelijk in gevoelloosheid, tinteling en een
vermindert gripvermogen. Langdurige blootstelling kan leiden tot chronische condities. Limiteer
de blootstellingsduur en draag anti-vibratie handschoenen. Vibratie heeft een grotere invloed op
handen met een temperatuur lager dan een normale, comfortabele temperatuur. Maak gebruik

WAARSCHUWING: Velen ongelukken worden veroorzaakt door slecht onderhouden machines
15 - Ontkoppel machines van de stroombron – wanneer niet in gebruik, voor onderhoud
en bij het vervangen van accessoires ontkoppelt u de machine van de stroombron
16 - Verwijder sleutels – Maak van het controleren op gereedschapssleutels een gewoonte
17 - Voorkom onnodig starten – Zorg ervoor dat de aan-/uitschakelaar bij het aansluiten op

WAARSCHUWING: Voordat u de machine op de stroombron aansluit controleert u of het voltage
van de stroombron overeenkomt met het voltage op het gegevensplaatje op de machine. Een
stroombron met een hogere spanning kan zorgen voor ernstige verwondingen aan de gebruiken
en schade aan de machine. Een stroombron met een lagere spanning kan de motor beschadigen.
Plug de stekker bij twijfel niet in de stroombron.
Gepolariseerde stekkers (enkel voor Noord-Amerika) Voor het verminderen van het risico op
elektrische schok, is de eenheid voorzien van een gepolariseerde stekker (Een blad is breder dan
de andere). De stekker past slechts op één manier in een gepolariseerd contactpunt. Wanneer
de stekker niet volledig in het contactpunt past, draait u de stekker om. Wanneer de stekker nog
steeds niet past, neemt u contact op met een gekwaliceerd elektricien. De plug mag in geen
enkele manier aangepast worden.
Algemene veiligheid
WAARSCHUWING: Bij het gebruik van elektrische machines horen basis
veiligheidsvoorzorgmaatregelingen opgevolgd te worden om de kans op brand, elektrische
schokken en persoonlijk letsel te minimaliseren. Lees de instructies voor gebruik volledig door en
bewaar deze bij de machine voor toekomstig gebruik.
WAARSCHUWING: De machine is niet geschikt voor gebruik door personen met een verminderde
mentale of fysieke bekwaamheid of een gebrek aan ervaring, tenzij de persoon wordt begeleid of
geïnstrueerd door een persoon verantwoordelijk voor de veiligheid
LET OP: Het gebruik van de machine voor doeleinden, anders dan waarvoor de machine is

De term “elektrisch gereedschap” in alle hieronder vermelde waarschuwingen heeft betrekking
op uw elektrische gereedschap dat op de stroom is aangesloten (met een snoer) of met een accu
wordt gevoed (snoerloos).
1 - Veiligheid in de werkruimte - Rommelige en donkere ruimtes leiden vaak tot ongelukken.
2 - Denk aan de werkplaatsomgeving
- Stel gereedschap niet bloot aan regen
- Gebruik gereedschap niet in vochtige of natte omstandigheden
- Houdt uw werkplaats goed verlicht
- Gebruik gereedschap niet in de nabijheid van ontvlambare vloeistoffen of gassen
3 - Bescherm uzelf tegen elektrische schok – Voorkom het contact met geaarde
oppervlakken (als leidingen, radiatoren, koelkasten).
4 - Houd kinderen en omstanders uit de buurt – Laat mensen, vooral kinderen, de
machine en verlengsnoeren niet aanraken en houd ze op afstand
5 - Berg gereedschap wat niet in gebruik is op – Berg gereedschap dat niet in gebruikt is
op een droge plek, buiten het bereik van kinderen op
6 - Forceer gereedschap niet – Uw machine functioneert optimaal op de bestemde
gebruikssnelheid
7 - Gebruik de juiste machine – Forceer kleine machine niet voor het uitvoeren van grote
werkzaamheden.
Gebruik gereedschap niet voor doeleinden waarvoor ze niet bestemd zijn.
8 - Draag de juiste uitrusting
- Loshangende kleding en sieraden kunnen door bewegende onderdelen gegrepen
worden
- Het dragen van niet-slippende schoenen is aangeraden voor buitenwerk
- Bedek lang haar
9 - Draag de benodigde beschermingsmiddelen
- Draag een veiligheidsbril
- Draag een stofmasker bij stof producerende werkzaamheden
WAARSCHUWING: Wanneer de beschermende uitrusting niet gedragen wordt is de kans opeen
ongeval groter en is de ernst van voorvallende ongevallen groter
10 - Sluit gereedschap op een stof-ontginningssysteem aan – Wanneer de machine is
voorzien van een stofpoort, sluit u deze op een ontginningssysteem aan
11 - Misbruik het stroomsnoer niet – Trek nooit aan het stroomsnoer om de stekker uit het
stopcontact te halen. Houdt het stroomsnoer uit de buurt van warmte, olie en scherpe
randen. Beschadigde snoeren vergroten de kans op elektrische schok
12 - Klem uw werk vast – Klem uw werkstuk wanneer mogelijk stevig vast
13 - Reik niet te ver - Blijf altijd stevig en in balans staan
14 - Onderhoud uw gereedschap zorgvuldig
- Het scherp en schoon houden van snijgereedschap zorgt voor een gemakkelijkere
machine controle en een kleinere kans op het buigen en breken
- Volg smeerinstructies op
- Controleer stroomsnoeren regelmatig op beschadiging en laat deze bij een
geautoriseerd service center repareren
- Laat stroomsnoeren bij een geautoriseerd service center vervangen
- Houdt handvaten schoon, droog en vrij van olie en vet

Laminaatzaag veiligheid
WAARSCHUWING: De maximale snelheid van het zaagblad dient minimaal zo hoog te zijn als
de onbelaste snelheid van de machine. Accessoires die sneller draaien dan de maximale snelheid
breken mogelijk
WAARSCHUWING: Ontkoppel de machine van de stroombron voordat accessoires wisselt en/
of onderhoud uitvoert
WAARSCHUWING: Bij het hanteren van zaagbladen is het dragen van beschermende
handschoenen aanbevolen. Zo voorkomt u de kans op persoonlijk letsel
• Zaag geen meerdere werkstukken tegelijkertijd. Opgestapelde en achter elkaar liggende
werkstukken kunnen niet voldoende ondersteund worden en bewegen mogelijk tijdens het
zagen
• Zorg ervoor dat de machine op een stevig en plat oppervlak geplaatst/gemonteerd is, om de
kans op beweging tijdens het zagen te voorkomen
• Zorg ervoor dat het werkstuk juist ondersteund wordt. Het gebruik van externe klemmen en
geleiders is aanbevolen om afwijking van het zaagpad te voorkomen
• Bij het bewerken van grote werkstukken is het gebruik van schragen of verlengtafels voor het
ondersteunen van het werkstuk aanbevolen
• Houdt omstanders tijdens het gebruik van de machine op een minimale afstand van 10 meter.
Gebruik omstanders niet voor het geven van extra ondersteuning
• Het afgezaagde deel van het werkstuk dient na de zaagsnede vrij van de machine af te
kunnen bewegen
• Laat het zaagblad volledig op snelheid komen voordat u de zaagsnede begint
• Gebruik wanneer nodig drukelementen om de beweging van het werkstuk te voorkomen.
Gebruik klemmen om het werkstuk vast te zetten
• De machine is enkel geschikt voor het zagen van hout, synthetisch hout en soortgelijke
materialen. De machine is niet compatibel met zaagbladen die ontworpen zijn voor het zagen
van andere materialen als glas en metaal
• Controleer voor gebruik of het werkstuk compatibel is met de machine en vrij is van vreemde
voorwerpen als spijkers en schroeven. Gebruik geen overmatig gebogen of kromgetrokken
werkstukken. Bij het zagen van licht gebogen/kromgetrokken werkstukken dienen de geleider
en het tafelblad in contact blijven
• Houdt het werkoppervlak te allen tijde vrij van stof, zaagsel en vuil. Controleer het
tafeloppervlak voor elk gebruik op voorwerpen die de machine mogelijk hinderen
• Voed het werkstuk nooit door het zaagblad. Het werkstuk dient te allen tijde vastgeklemd
te worden en mag niet bewegen tijdens het gebruik van de machine. Zo produceert u jne
werksneden en raakt de machine niet oververhit
Terugslag
Let op: Terugslag is een plotselinge reactie op een vastlopend, geforceerd of een foute
uitlijning van het zaagblad, waardoor de zaag uit het materiaal omhoog, naar de gebruiker wordt
geschoten. Terugslag kan de hand(en) van de gebruiker tevens in het zaagblad trekken wat
resulteert in ernstig letsel
WAARSCHUWING: Terugslag is het gevolg van misbruik en/of onjuiste gebruiksprocedures
of –omstandigheden, en kan voorkomen worden door het volgen van de volgende
voorzorgsmaatregelen:
a) Gebruik de zaagmachine te allen tijde met het spouwmes. Verwijder het spouwmes
NOOIT waar de breedte van de zaagsnede achter het zaagblad kleiner wordt
b) Gebruik geen beschadigde of botte bladen. Gebruik een zaagblad wat geschikt is voor
het uit te voeren werk
c) Zorg ervoor dat de geleider te altijd parallel op het zaagblad staat. Wanneer de
geleider naar het zaagblad toe kantelt kan het in contact komen met het zaagblad
d) Gebruik de parallelgeleider niet tegelijkertijd met verstekmeter. Dit leidt mogelijk tot
ernstige terugslag en persoonlijk letsel
e) Ben uiterst voorzichtig bij het zagen van grote panelen. Grote werkstukken dienen
voldoende ondersteund te worden aan zowel de voor- als achterzijde van de zaagtafel
f) Zaag geen ronde werkstukken of werkstukken die niet plat op de tafel kunnen
liggen. Voorkom gedraaid hout of hout met knopen
g) Zaag geen nat hout. Nat hout zorgt voor wrijving tegen het zaagblad. Nat zaagsel
kan op het zaagblad ophopen wat de kans op terugslag vergroot
h) Houd het werkstuk te allen tijde stevig met beide handen vast en plaats uw handen/
armen om de kans op terugslag te minimaliseren
i) Blijf uit de baan van het zaagblad. Positioneer uw lichaam aan de linker of rechter
zijde van het zaagblad en niet in lijn met het zaagblad
j) Trek het werkstuk tijdens het zagen niet terug uit een roterend zaagblad. Wanneer u
een zaagsnede voor het einde dient te onderbreken, schakelt u de zaag uit en wacht u tot
het zaagblad volledig stilstaat voordat u het werkstuk verwijdert
k) voorkom het vallen van werkstukken op het zaagblad. Oefen geen invalzaagsneden
uit met uw tafelzaag
l) Gebruik wanneer mogelijk een duwstok om het werkstuk door het zaagblad te geleiden.
Gebruik wanneer mogelijk een drukelement om het werkstuk op de zaagtafel te drukken

Voor gebruik
WAARSCHUWING: Zorg ervoor dat de machine volledig en juist is samengesteld voordat
deze op de stroombron wordt aangesloten
Samenstelling
1. Bevestig de vier poten (18) op de vier hoeken van de zaag met behulp van de schroeven (17)
(Afbeelding A)
2. Bevestig het handvat (15) op de bevestigingspunten (2) (Afbeelding B)
3. Schuif de stofzak (13) op de stofpoort (10) (Afbeelding C)
Opmerkingen:
• Een stofzuiger kan aangesloten worden op de stofpoort (10) of de stofzak (13) voor een
optimale stofontginning
• Gebruik de machine niet zonder dat deze op een van de twee is aangesloten
• De stofzak dient tijdens gebruik elke 10-15 minuten geleegd te worden. Het stof is mogelijk
ontvlambaar en bevat mogelijk polyurethaan of lijnolie. Wanneer de zak niet geleegd wordt,
wordt het zaagsel mogelijk terug in het zaagmechanisme geduwd waar het kan ontbranden.
Neem de maatregelen van de fabrikant van het te zagen materiaal in acht
Het zaagblad (19) is op de machine voor gemonteerd. Het is aangeraden te controleren of het
blad goed vast zit. Verwijs naar ‘Het vervangen van het zaagblad’ voor informatie betreft het
vastdraaien van de zaagbladbout
Controleer of de zaaggleufplaat (6) in goede staat verkeerd

Zaagmachine installatie
Plaats de zaag op een sterk en plat werkoppervlak. Om trillingen te verminderen beweging tijdens
gebruik te voorkomen, plaats u een anti-trilling mat tussen de zaag en de werkbank.
Met het gebruik van schroeven, langer dan die inbegrepen bij de zaag, is de zaag op de
werkbank te monteren. Plaats de bouten door de werkbank, door de poten (18) en schroef ze
in het aluminium zaagframe vast. Als alternatief monteert u de zaag op een grote plank, groot
genoeg om op een werkbank te klemmen. Het vastklemmen van de zaag maximaliseert de
gebruiksveiligheid.
WAARSCHUWING: Het gebruik van de zaag op een draagbaar onderstel is gevaarlijk. Zorg
ervoor dat het onderstel tijdens gebruik niet kan omkiepen of inklappen.

Het in- en uitschakelen van de machine
Belangrijk: Voordat u de machine aansluit op de stroombron, controleert u of de aan-/uitschakelaar
in de uit-stand staat
• Om de machine in te schakelen, drukt u de groene ‘I’ knop op de aan-/uitschakelaar (1) in

Let op: In deze twee modes ligt het werkstuk vast en glijd de zaag langs het werkstuk
1. Vergrendel de zaag in de langs snede stand door de vergrendelknop (3) in het langs snede
vergrendelpunt (4) te vergrendelen (Fig. E)
2. Stel de langs geleider (5) op de benodigde diepte in en vergrendel deze in positie (Fig. F)
3. Schakel de machine in en laat het zaagblad op volledige snelheid komen
4. Houdt het werkstuk tegen de geleider en voed het langzaam in het zaagblad (Fig. G)
5. Tegen het eind van de snede voedt u het werkstuk met behulp van de duw stok (7) in het
zaagblad zodat uw vingers uit het zaaggebied gehouden worden (Fig. H)
6. Wanneer de zaagsnede voltooid is schakelt u de machine uit en ontkoppeld u deze van de
stroombron
Let op: De duwstok hoort met de zaag opgeborgen te worden. De duw stok is in de voorzijde van
de basis te schuiven
Het maken van een dwarssnede
In deze twee modes ligt het werkstuk vast en glijd de zaag langs het werkstuk
• Ontgrendel de vergrendelknop (3) uit het langs snede vergrendelpunt (4)
• Wanneer het midden van zaaglijn na het zagen niet nauwkeurig door de zaaglijn indicator (8)
wordt aangeduid, versteld u deze met behulp van een schroevendraaier
1. Verwijder de langs geleider (5)
2. Plaats de dwarssnede geleider (11) in de gaten als in (Afbeelding I) en vergrendel deze met
de geleider vergrendelknop (14) in positie
3. Plaats de klemarm (12) in de juiste gleuf (Afbeelding J)
4. Til de klem arm omhoog, schuif het werkstuk op het paneel en klem het werkstuk vast
(Afbeelding K)
5. Schakel de machine in en laat het zaagblad op volledige snelheid komen
6. Houdt de machine bij het handvat (15) vast en schuif de zaag door het werkstuk (Afbeelding L)
7. Wanneer de snede voltooid is schuift u de zaag terug in de startpositie
8. Schakel de machine uit en ontkoppel deze van de stroombron voordat u het werkstuk
verwijdert
Versteksneden
• Herpositioneer de dwarssnede geleider in de benodigde hoek en plaats de klem in de juiste
gleuf (Afbeelding M)
• Maak de snede op dezelfde manier als het maken van een dwarssnede

Onderhoud
WAARSCHUWING: Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u de machine schoonmaakt
of enig onderhoud uitvoert.
Zaagblad onderhoud
• Controleer regelmatig of het zaagblad (19) vrij is van zaagsel en vuil opbouw. Maak de
machine wanneer nodig met een oplosmiddel of mineraal terpentine schoon
• Controleer regelmatig of het zaagblad scherp is, niet gebogen is en vrij is van beschadigingen.
Een gebogen en/of bot zaagblad belast de motor en versnellingsbak en heeft een negatief
effect op de zaagsnede
Het vervangen van het zaagblad
Let op: Een vervanging voor uw GMC zaagblad (19) is verkrijgbaar bij uw GMC dealer –
artikelnummer 162294
• Monteer geen HSS zaagbladen of slijpschijven. Het monteren van foute zaagbladen ontgeld
de garantie
• Controleer regelmatig of het zaagblad recht, scherp en vrij is van beschadigingen
1. Vergrendel de zaag in de langs snedepositie (Zie ‘Het maken van een langs snede)
2. Druk de as-vergrendelknop (21) in en verwijder de schroef die de bladschroefafdekking (9) in
plaats houdt met gebruik van de inbussleutel (16) (Afbeelding N)
3. Verhoog de afdekking zodat u toegang krijgt tot de bladbout (20)
4. Vergrendel het zaagblad met behulp van de vergrendelknop aan de achterzijde van de
zaagbehuizing en gebruik de inbussleutel (16) om de bout los te draaien en te verwijderen

5. Haal de ens van de spindel
6. Plaats de zaag op de zijkant en haal het zaagblad voorzichtig uit de machine (Tip: gebruik een
platte schroevendraaier om het zaagblad van de schacht te tillen) (Fig. P)

7. Schuif het nieuwe zaagblad voorzichtig door de onderzijde van de behuizing en op de schacht.

8. Plaats de ens terug op de as en draai de bladbout vast (Afbeelding R)
9. Controleer of het zaagblad juist in plaats zit, druk de as-vergrendelknop in en draai de bout
met behulp van de inbussleutel vast
10. Plaats de schroefafdekking terug op de zaagmachine
Zaaggleufplaat
• De zaaggleufplaat (6) bestaat uit twee delen welke de zaaggleuf waarover de zaag heen glijd
bedekken. Wanneer de zaaggleufplaat beschadigd raakt hoort u deze te vervangen
• De linker en rechterzijde zijn apart te vervangen en zijn gemakkelijk toegankelijk door het
zaagmechanisme simpelweg naar de andere zijde te bewegen. De linker en rechterzijde zijn
identiek. Schroef de beschadigde plaat los en schroef de nieuwe plaat vast. Draai de platen
met de hand vast. Wanneer de platen te straks worde vast gedraaid trekken deze mogelijk
krom
Algemene inspectie
• Controleer regelmatig of alle bevestigingsmiddelen nog goed vast zitten. Door vibratie kunnen
ze na enige tijd los gaan zitten
• Inspecteer het stroomsnoer voor elk gebruik op slijtage en beschadiging. Reparaties dienen
uitgevoerd worden bij een geautoriseerd Triton/Silverline/GMC service center. Dit geld tevens
voor verlengsnoeren, gebruikt met de machine
Schoonmaak
• Houd uw machine te allen tijde schoon. Vuil en stof doen de interne onderdelen slijten en
vermindert de levensduur van de machine.
• Maak de behuizing met een zachte borstel of droge doek schoon. Gebruik wanneer mogelijk,
droge en schone perslucht om door de ventilatiegaten te blazen. Gebruik geen bijtende stoffen
voor het schoonmaken van plastic onderdelen
• Leeg de stofzak (13) voordat deze ¾ vol is
Smeren
• Smeer alle bewegende onderdelen regelmatig met een geschikt smeermiddel
Koolstofborstels
WAARSCHUWING: Interne onderdelen dienen door een getrainde ingenieur vervangen te
worden. Onjuist gemonteerde onderdelen zijn erg gevaarlijk en kunnen de machine vernielen
• Na verloop van tijd verslijten de koolborstels in de motor
• Versleten koolborstels veroorzaken vermogen verlies, intermitterende storing en/of zichtbaar
vonken
• Wanneer de verschijnselen waarneembaar zijn, laat u de borstels vervangen
Opberging
• Berg de machine op een droge en veilige plek, buiten het bereik van kinderen op.
Verwijdering
Bij de verwijdering van elektrische machines neemt u de nationale voorschriften in acht.
• Elektrische en elektronische apparaten mogen niet met uw huishoudelijk afval worden
weggegooid
• Neem contact op met uw gemeente voor informatie betreffende de verwijdering van elektrisch

Caractéristiques techniques

12. Immobiliser votre travail. Si possible, utiliser des serre-joints ou un étau pour maintenir
la pièce de travail. Cela offre davantage de sécurité que de tenir la pièce avec la main.
13. Ne pas essayer d’atteindre une zone hors de portée. Se tenir toujours en position
stable permettant de conserver l’équilibre.
14. Veiller à l’entretien des appareils électriques.
- Veiller à ce que les outils de coupe soient tenus affûtés et propres, ce qui favorise leur
maîtrise et leur bon fonctionnement.
- Suivre les instructions de lubrication et de changement des accessoires.
- Vérier régulièrement les câbles et les faires réparer/remplacer par un centre agréé.
- Vérier également l’état des rallonges utilisées.
- Tenir les poignées de l’appareil propres (sans graisse ni huile) et sèches.
AVERTISSEMENT : De nombreux accidents sont dus à l’utilisation d’appareils électriques mal

21. Ne faire réparer votre appareil électrique que par un réparateur qualié. Cet appareil

10. Brancher un système d’extraction de la poussière : Si l’appareil est pourvu de dispositifs
destinés au raccord d’équipements d’extraction et de récupération de la poussière/sciure,
s’assurer qu’ils soient bien xés et utilisés correctement.
11. Ne pas maltraiter le cordon électrique. Ne jamais utiliser le cordon électrique pour porter,
tirer ou débrancher l’appareil. Protéger le cordon électrique de la chaleur, du contact avec
l’essence, des bords tranchants et pièces rotatives. Un cordon électrique endommagé ou
