Q- Is my RANGER waterproof?
A-No. It is weather resistant. If your RANGER does get
wet, allow it to dry completely before you use it.
Q- Does the RANGER have “battery” memory?
A-No. Older battery technologies used to suffer from
memory problems. The RANGER’s technology is smart and
prevents memory challenges of old.
Q- Will my RANGER “burn-out” if plugged in too long?
A-Keeping the RANGER plugged in actually improves the
life of the RANGER. Just like your body-staying active
improves its health. At a minimum charge the RANGER at
least once every three (3) months. Keeping the RANGER
plugged in all of the time will keep it healthy and always
ready.
Q- How long does it take to charge the RANGER?
A-From the wall you can expect 4 to 5 hours. From other
sources refer to the TruWatt reference guide for general
guidelines.
Q- What do I do if the Scout won’t hold a charge?
A-If you charge the Scout and it still shows that it is empty
please contact a GOALØ gear specialist. The internal
battery may need to be replaced. If this has occurred
within six (6) months of purchase and the warranty was
activated we will replace the battery at no cost to you.
