Your remote control

MUTE Turns the volume On and
Off.
NUMBER PAD Enter values and
select the channel number directly
by entering its number.
TV/AV Switches between freesat
and normal TV. (Scart connection
only).
NAVIGATION Move up/down/left/
right in menus/on screen displays
(left and right arrows are used to skip
forwards and backwards).
BACK Takes you back to the
previous menu.
CH + Channel up and P -
Channel down.
CH LIST Opens the channel list menu.
SUB Turns the subtitles On and Off.
GUIDE Opens the genre list and
the guide.
SWAP Return to the previous
selected channel.
AUDIO Opens the audio menu.
FAST FORWARD Navigate right in the
top menu bar.
STANDBY Power On/Standby.
WIDE Adjust the aspect ratio of
the video output.
INFO Display the Info bar.
OK Confirm selection in
menu/on screen displays.
EXIT Closes menu.
COLOUR BUTTONS For interactive
use and navigating menus.
AD Turns audio description On or
Off.
TEXT Displays digital text when
available.
VOL + Volume up and VOL -
Volume down.
MENU Opens the main menu.
FAST REWIND Navigate left in the
top menu bar.

Step 1.2 Connect the cable from the LNB to the LNB IN
socket on the back of your digital box.
Step 1.3 Connect the HDMI cable supplied between your
digital box and the HDMI input on your TV.

Step 1.1 To receive freesat, your satellite dish should face
28.2° East of South with an inclination of between 20° and
30°.
Step 1.4 Connect the mains plug to the power socket and
turn the power socket On.
Step 1.5 Remove the battery cover from the remote control
and insert 2 x AAA batteries (supplied) into the battery
compartment. Replace the battery cover.

Step 1.6 To turn On your new digital box, press the green
STANDBY button on the remote control.

Setting Up

Step 2.1 The first install screen will appear. If the signal
strength is above 50% press the OK button to continue. If
below 50% check the dish alignment and connections.
Step 2.2 When the Network ID and Transport ID are shown.
Press the OK button to continue.

that matches your TV. Press the OK button to continue.
Step 2.5 Your freesat digital box will now autotune and store
your freesat channels.
Step 2.7 Setup is now complete. Take a note of the
information on screen in the space provided on the
instruction book, and then press EXIT.

services are available a red dot will be shown in
the top right hand part of your TV screen. Press the
button to open the menu. An example is shown above.
To go to the Programme Guide, press the button.
Select a channel genre to watch (i.e. News and Sport),
and then the Programme Guide will load.
Press the and buttons to move along the
channel genres at the top of the screen, and the t,
u, pand qbuttons to move through the list of
programmes.
Your digital box supports subtitles and audio
description. When a programme contains audio
description the icon is shown and when a
programme contains subtitles the icon is shown.
Press the corresponding button to access each feature.
