Your integrated ceramic glass cooking hob is manufactured
exclusively for household use.
Materials used for packaging are friendly to the environment
and can be reused (recycled), disposed of or disintegrated
without any threat to the nature. All such materials are marked
accordingly.
When you decide that your appliance is no longer of use to
you, act responsibly and deliver it to the authorized household
appliance scrap dealers.
Instructions for use have been prepared for the user. They
describe the appliance features and proper handling.
These instructions are intended for various types of the
appliance, so you may find some descriptions for the functions
that your particular appliance may not have.
All connections must be carried out in accordance with the
instructions supplied with the appliance, and in compliance with
the recognized standards.
Connections must be performed by qualified personnel only.
Rating plate with basic information is fixed to the bottom side of
the hob.
The appliance can be installed adjacent to a kitchen cabinet
higher than the appliance on one side, while the kitchen unit on
the other side must not exceed the height of the appliance.

• The appliance may be built-in and connected to the power supply only by a qualified technician.
• Particular areas of the cooktop surface (adjacent to the hotplates) are hot during operation.
Prevent the children to hang around the appliance and warn them properly against the danger
of burns.
• Hot oil ignites readily, so be sure have the preparation of such food (fries) under constant
control.
• Hotplates may not be left in operation empty, without any dishes on top.
• Never use the appliance for heating the ambience.
• Never use the ceramic-glass cooktop as a working surface. Sharp objects may damage the
cooktop surface.
• Preparation of food in aluminum or plastic cookware is not allowed. Never place any plastic
objects or aluminum foil upon the cooktop surface.
• In case any other appliances are plugged in the electric mains close to the cooktop, prevent the
contact of the plug cable with the hot cooking zones.
• Never keep any flammable or temperature sensitive objects, like cleaning agents, sprays,
detergents, etc., below the appliance.
• Never use cracked or broken ceramic-glass cooktop. In case you notice any visible cracks on
the surface, cut the power supply immediately.
• In case of any malfunctions, disconnect the appliance from the power supply and call service
department.
• Do not use high-pressure steam cleaner or hot steam to clean the appliance.
• The appliance is manufactured in compliance with the relevant effective safety standards.
Nevertheless, we strongly recommend that persons with impaired physical, motoric, or mental
capacity, or persons with inadequate experience or knowledge, do not use the appliance
unless attended by a qualified person. The same recommendation applies when the appliance
is used by persons of less-than-legal age.
The symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product may not
be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable
collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring
this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative
consequences for the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused by

Slide control power
Ceramic-glass cooktop is equipped with four hotplates designed
as cooking zones. The surface of the hob is flat, without any
edges for eventual gathering of dirt.
• Hotplates quickly reach the selected heating power while the
adjacent area around the hotplates remains cool.
• The cooktop is resistant to temperature changes.
• The cooktop is also impact resistant. Cookware may be placed
upon the surface rather firmly without any consequences.
• Avoid making coffee in traditional Turkish coffee kettle since
the diameter of the bottom is too small and the hotplate may
be damaged.
CAUTION!
• In case sugar or other heavily sweetened substance is spilled
on the hotplate, wipe it immediately and remove the sugar
residues with a scraper although the cooking zone is still hot,
otherwise the hotplate may be damaged.
• Avoid cleaning the cooktop while the cooking zones are still
hot, as you may damage the hob.
Use only high quality cookware with flat and firm bottom.
• Position the pot at the center of the hotplate during cooking.
• When using the fireproof and temperature resistant glass
cookware observe the instructions of the producer.
• If the pressure cooker is used to prepare food, have it
under constant control throughout the cooking until proper
pressure has been obtained. In such cases start the cooking
at maximum power of the hotplate, and reduce the power
subsequently according to the instructions of the producer.
• When using high radiation (bright metal surface) crockery, or
thick bottom dishes for preparing food on the glass ceramic
hob, the period of reaching the boiling point may be prolonged
for certain time (up to 10 minutes). Consequently, if you need
to boil considerable amount of liquid, it is recommended to use
the dark, flat bottom pot.

The cooking zone may be damaged:
• If it is left in operation without any cookware being placed on
top, or if covered with empty cookware.
• If improper cookware is used: unevenly flat bottom or small
diameter (traditional Turkish coffee kettle).
• The use of terra-cotta (clay) cookware is likely to produce
scratches upon the ceramic-glass surface.
• Before placing any cookware upon the cooktop thoroughly
wipe the bottom dry, thereby improving the heat conduction
and protecting the hotplate from damage.
• When buying cookware be careful in selecting size: pot diameter usually refers to the top edge of
the dish, which is often larger than the dish bottom.
• Steam-pressure pots (economic pots), which use pressure in tightly sealed interior, are
especially economic, and save both time and energy. Shorter cooking time leaves more vitamins
in food.
• Always leave enough water in steam-pressure pots, otherwise it may result in overheating which
may damage both the pot and the hotplate.
• Always cover the cookware with lids of appropriate size.
• Use such dish size to accommodate the quantity of food to be prepared. If you use excessively
large pot for small amount of food, you will consume considerably more energy.

When the hob is off all hotplates are off and indicator LED’s are
off.To switch the hob on, touch the ON/OFF sensor (A) for at
least 1 second. The hob is activated and all power displays (I)
indicate »0« for a period of 10 seconds.
Subsequent setting must be performed within the
next 10 seconds, otherwise the hob is switched off
again.
If you switched the hob on using the ON/OFF sensor (A), within
the next ten seconds you can switch on any hotplate. To select a
particular hotplate, touch the sensor (H). Power indicator of the
selected hotplate (I) will flash for a few seconds.
• Set the power level 1-18 by touching the slider. At the first
touch, the level is set according to the part of the slider
that you touch. Next to the slider, the control LEDs light up,
according to the level set. By sliding along the slider, the
power level setting is changed. By sliding to the right, the
level increasing, while sliding to the left decreases the level.
When you move your finger away from the slider, the cooking
field starts to operate at the level set. If the first touch of the
slider is on its far right side (level 18), the automatic cooking is
activated (see Quick heating function).
Changing hotplate power settings
• Select a particular hotplate by touching the sensor (H). Power
indicator of the selected hotplate (I) flashes with the selected
power value.
• By touching or sliding along the slide sensor you change
power setting.
• When you remove the finger from the slide sensor, the hotplate
starts to operate at selected power.
• The hob is fitted with electronic sensors which are activated if you touch the marked surface with
your fingertip and keep it for at least one second.
• Each touch of the sensors is confirmed by sound signal.
• Do not place any objects upon the sensor surface, otherwise you may provoke error mode.
• Keep sensor surface clean and free of dirt at all times.

• Selected hotplate must be activated.
• To select a particular hotplate, touch the sensor (H). Power
indicator is flashing.
• By touching the slide sensor (D) at the start, bring the power
setting to “00”. Short beep confirms the OFF position.
• The hob is switched off by pressing the main ON/OFF sensor
(A). The sound signal beeps and all indicators go off, except
for those hotplates which are still hot and display the warning
“H” sign as an indication of the remaining heat.
• If you switch the hob off prior end of cooking session, use the
remaining heat and save electric energy.
By activating the safety lock system the operation or use of the
cooking fields is prevented. This way, the control unit lock acts as
a child safety lock.
Activating the control unit lock
• Safety lock is activated by pressing the sensor (B) for
approximately three seconds; after that, the control LED (B1)
lights up for a few seconds.
• Safety lock can be activated when the cooking hob is turned
off, as well when it is operating.
• Safety lock prevents the activation of al sensors, except for he
main switch (A) shut-off sensor and the lock sensor (B).
• If you wish to activate any of the sensors while the control
unit is locked, the lock signal LED lights up again for a few
seconds and the appliances beeps.
Deactivating the control unit lock
• The lock can be disengaged by pressing the sensor (B) for
three seconds; after that, the unlocking is confirmed by a
beep. The signal LED above the sensor is turned off.
When an active hotplate is switched off, or when the entire hob
is switched off, the indicator displays »HI«, as a signal that a
particular »hotplate is still hot«. Display time is calculated in
relation to the used heating power and the period the hotplate
was active prior switching off.
Even when warning signal “HI” disappears, hotplate may still
be hot in certain cases (power failure, leaving any temperature
sensitive objects on the hotplate). Be careful, danger of burns!

When automatic cooking mode is activated the hotplate will
operate at maximum power for a limited period of time and
then automatically switch to the reduced power level to resume
cooking (see chart). It may be switched on in any of the hotplates
for all power settings except for setting “18” where power is set at
maximum all the time.
Automatic cooking mode is activated on any idle hotplate.
• Select a particular hotplate - power indicator displays flashing
“00”.
• First touch of the slide sensor (D) must be to the extreme right.
Display indicates power setting »18« and the decimal dot (•)
signals that automatic cooking mode is on.
• Further touching of the slide sensor selects the desired power
setting (17...1) for cooking.
• Decimal dot is on during the entire automatic mode period.
Once the time from the chart below expires, the function is
switched off and the decimal dot disappears.
You can also switch the automatic cooking mode off anytime by
bringing power setting to “0”.

Automatic fast cooking mode is suitable for...
• Cold dishes at the commencement of cooking, then heated
quickly at high cooking power, and then continued at reduced
power, without having to monitor the process all the time (for
example cooking stewed beef).
Automatic fast cooking mode is not suitable for...
• Frying, roasting, or stewing, where food has to be turned,
stirred, and monitored in general;
• Dumplings or noodles, requiring lots of liquid;
• Dishes requiring long boil in high pressure pot.

Switch on
• Press the sensor (F) to switch the extended hotplate ring on
for a particular hotplate (power indicator 1-18 is flashing).
Signal lamp (H1) adjacent to the sensor is on.
• Power setting is selected for both rings together.
Switch off
• Select particular hotplate (power indicator 1-18 is flashing).
• Switch the extended hotplate ring off press the sensor (F)
again.
Switch on
• Press the sensor (G) to switch the warming-up hotplate on.
Signal lamp (G1) adjacent to the sensor is on.
Switch off
To switch the warming-up hotplate off press the sensor (G) again.
If it is still hot, the signal lamp (G1) adjacent to the sensor is
flashing.
To improve safety of the operation, your cooking hob is fitted with
the time limit switch system restricting the operation time for each
hotplate. The period of operation is calculated in accordance with
the last selected power setting of a particular hotplate.
If the cooking power setting is not changed for a while, the
hotplate is switched off automatically after a certain period of
time, depending upon the power setting level (higher cooking
power - shorter period) - see chart below.

Turning timer on
Use of timer facilitates cooking by setting the time of hotplate
operation.
• Select the hotplate to be timer controlled - power setting is
flashing. Power setting should be preset to be able to use the
timer at all (see section ‘Switching hotplates on’).
• Turn the timer on by touching the timer ON/OFF sensor (C).
Indicator displays a dot in the top left corner, “ti” is flashing.
• By touching the slider (D) the desired cooking time is set
from 01 do 99 minutes. At the first touch, the time is set
according to the part of the slider that you touch. Next to the
slider, the control LEDs light up, according to the time set. By
sliding along the slider, the cooking time setting is changed
in ten minute steps. If you hold the finger on one spot on the
slider for a while, the slider switches to fine tuning, which is
accompanied by a beep. By sliding along the entire slider, the
exact tie can be set. By sliding to the right, the time increases,
while sliding to the left decreases the time setting by one
minute steps.
• When you remove the finger, after a few seconds the timer
starts the countdown. Indicator displays actual power setting,
and the dot in front of the numeral indicates that timer is on.
• During the cooking procedure, symbol “ti” intermittently
appears on the indicator every few seconds’’.
Operation time can be set for each hotplate
separately.
Changing preset cooking time
• Cooking time can be changed anytime during the operation.
• Select desired hotplate - preset power setting is flashing.
• Touch the timer ON/OFF sensor (C) – indicator displays ’’ti’’,
and the remaining cooking ime is flashing.
• By sliding along the entire slider area, the cooking time is
changed by one minute steps.
• When you move your finger away from the slider, the cooking
filed starts operating with the newly set cooking time.
Checking remaining cooking time
- Select the hotplate and press timer sensor.
- Remaining cooking time appears on the indicator for a few
seconds.
Turning timer off
During the countdown the hotplate power indicator displays “ti”
every few seconds.
