V skladu z najnovejšimi smernicami smo za svoje najzahtevnejše kupce razvili električni
grelnik vode z LCD zaslonom z upravljanjem na dotik. Grelnik serije OGB je opremljen z
naprednim inteligentnim elektronskim regulatorjem, ki poleg nastavitve in prikaza
temperature vode v grelniku, nudi številne nove upravljalne funkcije, kot so časovno
upravljanje delovanja, prikaz količine tople vode v kotlu, način delovanja v primeru
večdnevne odsotnosti, ročni vklop segrevanja, diagnostiko napak in druge.
Najpomembnejša novost novega inteligentnega krmilnika pa je novi "SMART" način
delovanja. Grelnik na podlagi snemanja vaših navad po določenem časovnem obdobju
namrečsam izračuna optimalni način delovanja, ki omogoča minimalno potrošnjo
električne energije potrebno za zadovoljitev vaših potreb po topli vodi.
Grelnik je izdelan v skladu z veljavnimi standardi in uradno preizkušen, zanj pa sta bila
izdana tudi varnostni certifikat in certifikat o elektromagnetni kompatibilnosti. Njegove
osnovne tehnične lastnosti so navedene na napisni tablici, nalepljeni med priključnima
cevema. Grelnik sme priključiti na vodovodno in električno omrežje le za to usposobljen
strokovnjak. Posege v njegovo notranjost zaradi popravila, odstranitve vodnega kamna ter
preverjanja ali zamenjave protikorozijske zaščitne anode lahko opravi samo pooblaščena
servisna služba.
VGRADITEV
Grelnik vgradite čim bližje odjemnim mestom. Če boste grelnik vgradili v prostor, kjer se
nahaja kopalna kad ali prha, je potrebno obvezno upoštevati zahteve standarda IEC
60364-7-701 (VDE 0100, Teil 701). Na steno ga pritrdite s stenskima vijakoma
nominalnega premera minimalno 8 mm. Steno s slabo nosilnostjo morate na mestu, kamor
ga boste obesili, primerno ojačati. Grelnik smete pritrditi na steno samo pokončno.

PRIKLJUČITEV NA VODOVODNO OMREŽJE
Dovod in odvod vode sta na ceveh grelnika barvno označena. Dovod hladne vode je
označen modro, odvod tople vode pa rdeče.
Grelnik lahko priključite na vodovodno omrežje na dva načina. Zaprti, tlačni sistem
priključitve omogoča odjem vode na večodjemnih mestih, odprti, netlačni sistem pa
dovoljuje samo eno odjemno mesto. Glede na izbrani sistem priključitve morate vgraditi
ustrezne mešalne baterije.
Pri odprtem, netlačnem sistemu je treba pred grelnik vgraditi nepovratni ventil, ki
preprečuje iztekanje vode iz kotla, če v omrežju zmanjka vode. Pri tem sistemu priključitve
morate uporabiti pretočno mešalno baterijo. V grelniku se zaradi segrevanja prostornina
vode povečuje, to pa povzroči kapljanje iz cevi mešalne baterije. Z močnim zategovanjem
ročaja na mešalni bateriji kapljanja vode ne morete preprečiti, temvečlahko baterijo le
pokvarite.
Pri zaprtem, tlačnem sistemu priključitve morate na odjemnih mestih uporabiti tlačne
mešalne baterije. Na dotočno cev je zaradi varnosti delovanja obvezno treba vgraditi
varnostni ventil ali varnostno grupo, ki preprečuje zvišanje tlaka v kotlu za večkot 0,1 MPa
(1 bar) nad nominalnim. Iztočna odprtina na varnostnem ventilu mora imeti obvezno izhod
za atmosferski tlak. Pri segrevanju vode v grelniku se tlak vode v kotlu zvišuje do meje, ki
je nastavljena v varnostnem ventilu. Ker je vračanje vode nazaj v vodovodno omrežje
preprečeno, lahko pride do kapljanja vode iz odtočne odprtine varnostnega ventila.
Kapljajočo vodo lahko speljete v odtok preko lovilnega nastavka, ki ga namestite pod
varnostni ventil. Odtočna cev nameščena pod izpustom varnostnega ventila mora biti
nameščena v smeri naravnost navzdol in v okolju, kjer ne zmrzuje.
V primeru, da že izvedena inštalacija ne omogoča, da bi kapljajočo vodo iz povratnega
varnostnega ventila speljali v odtok, se lahko kapljanju izognete z vgradnjo ekspanzijske
posode volumna 3 l na dotočni cevi grelnika.
Za pravilno delovanje varnostnega ventila morate sami periodično izvajati kontrole, da se
odstrani vodni kamen in da se preveri, da varnostni ventil ni blokiran. Ob preverjanju
morate s premikom ročke ali odvitjem matice ventila (odvisno od tipa ventila) odpreti iztok
iz povratnega varnostnega ventila. Pri tem mora priteči skozi iztočno šobo ventila voda, kar
je znak, da je ventil brezhiben.

Med grelnik in povratni varnostni ventil ne smete vgraditi zapornega ventila, ker bi s
tem delovanje povratnega varnostnega ventila onemogočili.
Grelnik lahko priključite na hišno vodovodno omrežje brez redukcijskega ventila, če je tlak
v omrežju nižji od nazivnega tlaka. Če tlak v omrežju presega nazivni tlak, morate obvezno
vgraditi redukcijski ventil.
Pred električno priključitvijo morate grelnik obvezno najprej napolniti z vodo. Pri prvi polnitvi
odprete ročico za toplo vodo na mešalni bateriji. Grelnik je napolnjen, ko voda priteče skozi
izlivno cev mešalne baterije.
PRIKLJUČITEV NA ELEKTRIČNO OMREŽJE
Pred priključitvijo v električno omrežje je potrebno v grelnik vgraditi priključno vrvico
minimalnega preseka vsaj 1,5 mm

). Da to lahko storite, morate z
grelnika odviti zaščitni pokrov.
Priključitev grelnika na električno omrežje mora potekati v skladu s
standardi za električne napeljave. Med grelnikom vode in trajno
inštalacijo mora biti vgrajena priprava za ločitev vseh polov od
električnega omrežja v skladu z nacionalnimi inštalacijskimi predpisi.

UPORABA IN VZDRŽEVANJE
Po priključitvi na vodovodno in električno omrežje je grelnik pripravljen za uporabo.
Grelnik je opremljen z elektronskim regulatorjem, ki omogoča nastavitev in prikaz
temperature vode, prilagoditev delovanja grelnika glede na vaše navade (program
"SMART"), časovno upravljanje delovanja, prikaz količine tople vode v kotlu, način
delovanja v primeru večdnevne odsotnosti (program DOPUST), ročni vklop segrevanja in
diagnostiko napak.

Vklop / izklop grelnika
•Za vklop grelnika vode za dalj časa pritisnite na polje 7.
•S ponovnim pritiskom za dalj časa na polje 7 grelnik vode izklopite (če boste grelnik
izklopili, morate ob nevarnosti zamrznitve vodo iz njega iztočiti).

Nastavitev časa in dneva v tednu
•Pritisnite na polje 4.
•Na polju 14 se prikaže utripajoče nastavljena številka dneva v tednu.
•S pritiskom na polje + ali – nastavite številko dneva v tednu
(1 – ponedeljek, …, 7 – nedelja).
•Ponovno pritisnite na polje 4.
•Prikaže se utripajoče nastavljena ura.
•S pritiskom na polje + ali – nastavite uro (s pritiskom za dalj časa na polje +ali –
nastavitev pohitrite).
•Nastavitev je shranjena ko polje 4preneha utripati.
Nastavitev temperature
•Pritisnite na polje 11.
•Prikaže se utripajoče nastavljena temperatura.
•S pritiskom na polje + ali – spreminjate nastavitev temperature od 10 do 85 °С
(prednastavljeno na ekonomično temperaturo 55 °С).
•Nastavitev je shranjena ko polje 11 preneha utripati in se na zaslonu povrne dejanska
temperatura.
Prikaz vsebnosti tople vode v grelniku
•Na zaslonu je prikazan simbol: - ni tople vode

Nastavitev načina delovanja dopust
V načinu delovanja dopust nastavite število dni (maksimalno 100), ko naj grelnik vzdržuje
minimalno temperaturo vode (pribl. 10 °С).
•Pritisnite na polje 5.
•Polje 5začne utripati, na polju 11 pa utripa vrednost 0.
•S pritiskom na polje + ali – nastavite število dni dopusta.
•S ponovnim pritiskom na polje 5potrdite nastavljeno število dni (če ne potrdite število dni
dopusta s ponovnim pritiskom na polje 5, se grelnik povrne v normalni način delovanja).
•Če nastavite vrednost na 0, potem po potrditvi nastavitve grelnik preide v normalni način
delovanja, osvetlitev polja 5pa ugasne.
•Če med obratovanjem grelnika v načinu delovanja dopust pritisnete na polje 5, se prikaže
število dni, ki je še ostalo do konca obdobja dopusta.
•Po preteku nastavljenega števila dni grelnik preide v predhodno nastavljeni način
delovanja, osvetlitev polja 5pa ugasne.
Nastavitev časovnega načina delovanja
V časovnem načinu delovanja nastavite čas vklopov in izklopov gretja vode. Za vsako
kombinacijo časovnega obdobja je možno nastaviti do tri časovne periode v katerih grelnik
ne bo segreval vode.
•Za dalj časa pritisnite na polje 13. Polje 13 se osvetli.
•Nato pritisnite na polje 4(začnejo utripati dnevi v tednu).
•S pritiskom na polje + ali – lahko izberete med tremi kombinacijami časovnih načinov
delovanja:

- časovni način delovanja za vsak posamezen dan (na polju 14 utripajo posamezne
številke 1 do 7)
- časovni način delovanja za obdobje od ponedeljka do petka in od sobote do nedelje
(utripajo številke 1 do 5 in nato številki 6 in 7)
- časovni način delovanja grelnika za ves teden (utripajo številke 1 do 7).
•Za nastavitev časa ponovno pritisnite na polje 4.
•Na polju 11 se prikaže napis 1OF in polje 4utripa.
•S pritiskom na polje + ali – nastavite uro začetka periode OFF.
•Ponovno pritisnite na polje 4.
•Prikaže se napis 1ON in polje 4utripa.
•S pritiskom na polje + ali – nastavite uro konca periode OFF.
•S ponovnim pritiskom na polje 4lahko po zgornjem postopku nastavite tudi drugo in tretjo
periodo.
Delovanje časovnika
•S pritiskom na polje 13 vklopite nastavljen časovni način delovanja.
•Grelnik segreva vodo v periodah On (glede na nastavljeno temperaturo), v periodah Off
pa vode ne segreva.
Ročni vklop segrevanja
•S pritiskom na polje 10 vklopite segrevanje vode do nastavljene temperature ne glede na
aktualni način obratovanja.
•Po končanem segrevanju se grelnik povrne v predhodno nastavljen način delovanja.
Snemanje navad uporabnika "SMART"
V času snemanja si elektronika zapomni vaše navade, katere upošteva pri segrevanju
vode po vključitvi načina delovanja "SMART". Snemanje traja 7 dni.
•S pritiskom na polje 1sprožite snemanje vaših navad. Polje 1se osvetli.
•Če med obratovanjem grelnika v snemanju navad uporabnika ''SMART'' pritisnete na
polje 1, se prikaže število dni, ki je še ostalo do konca snemanja.
•V času snemanja ni mogoče vklopiti posebne režime obratovanja grelnika (dopust, ročni
vklop segrevanja, časovni režim).
•Če je v času snemanja prišlo do izpada električne energije ali izklopa delovanja grelnika
posnetek ni veljaven (polje 1utripa).
•Ko se snemanje konča se ugasne osvetlitev polja 1.
•Izhod iz snemanja navad je mogočz daljšim pritiskom na polje 1ali z izklopom in
ponovnim vklopom grelnika.
••V kolikor se navade porabe tople vode spremenijo, je potrebno sprožiti novo snemanje
(pritisk na polje 1: snemanje traja naslednjih 7 dni ). Segrevanje vode skladno s
posnetimi navadami sprožite s pritiskom polja 3(vklop načina delovanja "SMART").
Vklop načina delovanja "SMART"
Če je snemanje ''SMART'' zaključeno, je mogočvstop v "SMART" način delovanja.
•S pritiskom na polje 3vključite način delovanja "SMART". Polje 3se osvetli.
•Iz "SMART" načina delovanja izstopite s ponovnim pritiskom na polje 3.

Delovanje grelnika v načinu delovanja "SMART"
•Primerno predvsem takrat, ko ima uporabnik precej ustaljene navade kar se tiče porabe
tople vode (primer: tuširanje vsak dan približno ob istih urah).
•Delovanje v načinu ''SMART'' zmanjša porabo električne energije.
•V primeru manjših posnetih izpustov je temperatura vode v grelniku v mejah med 40 °C
in nastavljeno temperaturo, odvisno od količine porabljene vode med snemanjem navad
uporabnika.
•V primeru posnetih večjih izpustov se grelnik pogreje do nastavljene temperature.
•V primeru, da pri snemanju navad uporabnika ni bilo zabeleženih izpustov, je lahko
temperatura vode v grelniku nižja od 40 °C.
•Ob izstopu iz načina delovanja ''SMART'' grelnik greje vodo skladno z ročno nastavljeno
temperaturo.
Funkcija antilegionela
•Če grelnik v 30 dneh ne doseže 65 °C, se vključi grelnik in segreje vodo na 65 °C za 15
minut.
Indikacija napak
•V primeru napake na grelniku prične utripati polje 9. Ob pritisku na polje 9se pojavi koda
napake.

Če želite, da grelnik deluje v načinu
''SMART'', vključite snemanje ''SMART''.
Po končanem snemanju je možno vključiti
delovanje v ''SMART'' načinu.
Če grelnika ne mislite uporabljati dalj časa, zavarujete njegovo vsebino pred zamrznitvijo
na ta način, da nastavite temperaturo vode na 10 °С. Pri izpadu električne energije ta
zaščita ne deluje! Če boste grelnik iz električnega omrežja izklopili, morate ob nevarnosti
zamrznitve vodo iz njega iztočiti. Voda iz grelnika se izprazni skozi dotočno cev grelnika. V
ta namen je priporočljivo ob vgradnji med varnostni ventil in dotočno cev namestiti poseben
fiting (T-člen) ali izpustni ventil. Grelnik lahko izpraznite tudi neposredno skozi varnostni
ventil s pomikom ročice oziroma s pomikom vrtljive kapice v položaj kot pri preverjanju
delovanja. Pred praznjenjem je grelnik potrebno izključiti iz električnega omrežja in nato

odpreti ročico za toplo vodo na priključeni mešalni bateriji. Po izpraznitvi vode skozi
dotočno cev, v grelniku ostane manjša količina vode, ki izteče skozi odprtino grelne
prirobnice ob odstranitvi grelne prirobnice.
Zunanjost grelnika čistite z blago raztopino pralnega praška. Ne uporabljajte razredčil in
grobih čistilnih sredstev.
Z rednimi servisnimi pregledi boste zagotovili brezhibno delovanje in dolgo življenjsko dobo
grelnika. Garancija za prerjavenje kotla velja le, če ste izvajali predpisane redne preglede
izrabljenosti zaščitne anode. Obdobje, med posameznimi rednimi pregledi, ne sme biti
daljše od 36 mesecev. Pregledi morajo biti izvedeni s strani pooblaščenega serviserja, ki
Vam pregled evidentira na garancijskem listu proizvoda. Ob pregledu preveri izrabljenost
protikorozijske zaščitne anode in po potrebi očisti vodni kamen, ki se glede na kakovost,
količino in temperaturo porabljene vode nabere v notranjosti grelnika. Servisna služba vam
bo po pregledu grelnika glede na ugotovljeno stanje priporočila tudi datum naslednje
kontrole.

LACK OF EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE, UNLESS THEY HAVE BEEN GIVEN
SUPERVISION OR INSTRUCTIONS CONCERNING THE USE OF THE APPLIANCE BY

To comply with the latest standards and to satisfy our most demanding customers, we
have developed an electrical water heater with an LCD touch screen. The OGB series
heater is equipped with a sophisticated intelligent electronic regulator for regulating and
displaying the temperature of the water in the heater. Its functions include a timer, display
of the quantity of warm water in the boiler, operation mode in case of longer absence,
manual switch, troubleshooting application and other functions.
The most important innovation of the new intelligent controller is the new SMART operating
mode. The heater records your habits and after a while, it calculates the optimal operating
mode that enables minimal use of electric energy necessary to meet your warm water
needs.
This water heater has been manufactured in compliance with the relevant standards and
tested by the relevant authorities as indicated by the Safety Certificate and the
Electromagnetic Compatibility Certificate. The technical characteristics of the product are
listed on the label affixed between the inlet and outlet pipes. The installation must be
carried out by qualified staff. All repairs and maintenance work within the water heater, e.g.
lime removal or inspection/replacement of the protective anticorrosion anode, must be
carried out by an authorised maintenance service provider.
INSTALLATION
The water heater shall be installed as close as possible to the outlets. When installing the
water heater in a room with a bathtub or shower, take into account the requirements
defined in IEC Standard 60364-7-701 (VDE 0100, Part 701). It has to be fitted to the wall
using appropriate wall screws with a minimum diameter of 8 mm. A wall with a poor load-
bearing capacity must be properly reinforced where the heater will be installed. The water
heater may only be fixed upon the wall vertically.

CONNECTION TO THE WATER SUPPLY
The water heater connections for the inlet and outlet of water are colour-coded. The inlet of
cold water is marked with blue colour, while the hot water outlet is marked with red colour.
The water heater can be connected to the water supply in two ways. The closed-circuit
pressure system enables several points of use, while the open-circuit gravity system
enables a single point of use only. The mixer taps must also be installed in accordance
with the selected installation mode.
The open-circuit gravity system requires the installation of a non-return valve in order to
prevent the water from draining out of the tank in the event of the water supply running dry
or being shut down. This installation mode requires the use of a cross-flow mixer tap. As
the heating of water expands its volume, this causes the tap to drip. The dripping cannot
be stopped by tightening it further; on the contrary, the tightening can only damage the tap.
The closed-circuit pressure system requires the use of pressure mixer taps. For safety
reasons the supply pipe must be fitted with a return safety valve or alternatively, a valve of
the safety class that prevents the pressure in the tank from exceeding the nominal
pressure by more than 0.1 MPa (1 bar). The outlet opening on the relief valve must be
equipped with an outlet for atmospheric pressure.
The heating of water in the heater causes the pressure in the tank to increase to the level
set by the safety valve. As the water cannot return to the water supply system, this can
result in dripping from the outlet of the safety valve. The drip can be piped to the drain by
installing a catching unit just below the safety valve. The drain installed below the safety
valve outlet must be piped down vertically and placed in an environment that is free from
the onset of freezing conditions.
In case the existing plumbing does not enable you to pipe the dripping water from the
return safety valve into the drain, you can avoid the dripping by installing a 3-litre
expansion tank on the inlet water pipe of the boiler.
In order to provide correct operation of the safety valve, periodical inspections of the relief
valve must be carried out by the user to eliminate any limescale and check if the safety
valve is blocked. To check the valve, open the outlet of the return safety valve by turning
the handle or unscrewing the nut of the valve (depending on the type of the valve). The
valve is operating properly if the water comes out of the nozzle when the outlet is open.

Between the water heater and return safety valve, no closing valve may be built in
because it could impede the function of the return safety valve.
The heater can be connected to the domestic water supply network without a pressure-
reducing valve if the pressure in the network is lower than the nominal pressure. If the
pressure in the network exceeds the nominal pressure, a pressure-reducing valve must be
installed.
Before connecting it to the power supply, the water heater must be filled with water. When
filling the heater for the first time, the tap for the hot water on the mixing tap must be
opened. When the heater is filled with water, the water starts to run through the outlet pipe
of the mixing tap.
CONNECTING THE WATER HEATER TO THE POWER SUPPLY NETWORK
Before connecting to the power supply network, install a power supply cord in the water
heater, with a min. diameter of 1.5 mm

plate must be removed from the water heater.
Connecting the heater to the power supply network must take place in
accordance with the standards for electric appliances. To comply with the
national installation regulations, an all poles disconnect switch must be
installed between the water heater and the power supply network.

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
After connecting to the water and power supply, the heater is ready for use.
The heater is equipped with an electronic regulator that enables the setting and display of
the temperature of water, adjustment of the heater’s operation to your habits (SMART
programme), timer, display of the quantity of warm water in the boiler, operation mode in
case of longer absence (VACATION programme), manual switch and troubleshooting
application.

Start/stop heater
•To start the water heater hold field no. 7 for a while.
•By holding field no. 7again, the heater is stopped (if you are disconnecting the heater for
a longer period of time, drain out all the water to prevent it from freezing).
Setting the clock and day of the week
•Press field no. 4.
•On the field no. 14 a blinking number of the day of the week appears.
•By pressing + or – you can set the number of the day of the week
(1 – Monday, …, 7 – Sunday).
•Press field no. 4 again.
•A blinking clock appears.
•By pressing + or – you can set the clock (by holding +or –you can speed up the setting).
•The setting is stored when field no. 4stops blinking.
Setting the temperature
•Press field no. 11.
•The set temperature starts blinking.

•By pressing + or –you can change the temperature setting from 10 °Сto 85 °С(preset to
economic temperature of 55 °С).
•The setting is stored when field no. 11 stops blinking and the actual temperature appears
on the display.

Setting the vacation mode
In the vacation mode, you can set the number of days (maximally 100), when the heater
shall maintain the minimal temperature of water (approximately 10 °С).
•Press field no. 5.
•Field no. 5starts blinking and 0 is flashing in field no. 11.
•By pressing + or – you can set the number of vacation days.
•By pressing field no. 5again, you confirm the set number of days (if you do not confirm
the set number of days by pressing field no. 5again, the heater will resume its normal
operating mode).
•If you set the value to 0, then the heater will resume its normal operating mode after
confirming the setting, and illumination of field no. 5will turn off.
•If the heater is operating in the vacation mode and you press field no. 5, the number of
remaining days is displayed.
•After the set number of days has elapsed, the heater returns to the normal mode and
illumination of field no. 5turns off.
Setting the TIMER mode
In the TIMER operating mode, you can set the times when the heater will start and stop.
For each timer combination, you can set up to three time periods in which the heater will
not heat the water.
•Hold field no. 13 for a while. Field no. 13 becomes illuminated.
•Then, press field no. 4(days of the week start to blink).
•By pressing field +or –you can select among three different combinations of timer
modes:
- timer mode for individual days (in field no. 14 individual numbers from 1 to 7 will be
blinking),
- timer mode for the period between Monday and Friday and from Saturday to Sunday
(blinking numbers 1 and 5, then 6 and 7)
- or the TIMER operating mode of the heater for the entire week (blinking numbers 1 to
7).
•To set the time, press field no. 4again.
•On the field no. 11, the text 1OF appears and field no. 4starts to blink.
•By pressing + or – set the time for the beginning of the OFF period.
•Press field no. 4 again.
•The text 1ON appears and field no. 4blinks.
•By pressing +or – set the time for the end of the OFF period.
•By pressing field no. 4again, you can use the above procedure to set the second and
third period.

Operation of the timer
•By pressing field no. 13, you can activate the set timer mode.
•The heater heats the water in the ON periods (to the set temperature) and in the OFF
periods, it does not heat the water.
Manual activation of heating
•By pressing field no. 10, you can activate the heating of water to the set temperature
regardless of the current operating mode.
•After the heating is finished the heater resumes to the preset operating mode.
Recording of the user’s habits for the SMART mode
During the recording, the programme remembers your habits and uses the measurements
to heat the water in the SMART mode. The recording takes place for 7 days.
•By pressing field no. 1, you can activate the recording of your habits. Field no. 1
becomes illuminated.
•If you press field no. 1while the user’s habits are being recorded for the SMART mode,
the remaining number of days for recording is displayed.
•During the recording, it is not possible to activate special regimes of operation of the
heater (vacation, manual activation, TIMER regime).
•If a power supply failure occurs during the recording, the data becomes invalid (field no. 1
is blinking).
•When recording is finished, the illumination of field no. 1 turns off.
•To exit the recording mode, hold field no. 1for a while or restart the heater by turning it
off and then on again.
•If the user’s habits in terms of the consumption of hot water change, they must be
recorded again (press field no. 1: for the next 7 days, the user’s habits and behaviour will
be recorded). Heating of the water in accordance with the recorded habits can be
activated by pressing field no. 3(activation of the SMART mode).
Activation of the SMART mode
If the recording of the habits for the SMART mode is completed, it is possible to activate
the SMART mode.
•By pressing field no. 3, you can activate the SMART mode. Field no. 3becomes
illuminated.
•You can exit the SMART mode by pressing field no. 3 again.
The operation of the heater in the SMART mode
•Useful especially when the user’s habits are relatively consistent in terms of consumption
of warm water (example: the user takes a shower every day at an approximately same
time).
•The operation of the heater in the SMART mode reduces the consumption of electric
energy.
•In case minor discharges were recorded, the temperature of water in the heater remains
between 40 °C and the set temperature, depending on the quantity of used water when
the user's habits were recorded.

•In case major discharges were recorded, the heater heats the water to the set
temperature.
•In case no discharges were recorded, the temperature of the water can be lower than 40
°C.
•When the SMART mode is deactivated, the heater heats the water to the manually preset
temperature.
Anti-legionella function
•If the heater has not achieved 65 °C for 30 days in a row, it starts and heats the water to
65 °C for 15 minutes.
Indicator of errors
•In case of errors, field no. 9begins to blink. If you press field no. 9, the code of error
appears.

If you want the heater to operate in the
SMART mode, start recording for the
SMART mode. After the recording is
completed, the operation of the SMART
mode is possible.
If you do not intend to use the heater for a longer period of time, protect its contents from
freezing by setting the temperature of water to 10 °С. In case of power failure, this
protection does not work! Should you choose to disconnect the power, the water heater
should be thoroughly drained before the onset of freezing conditions. Water is discharged
from heater via the inlet pipe. For this purpose, a special fitting (T-fitting) must be mounted
between the relief valve and the heater inlet pipe, or a discharge tap. The heater can be
discharged directly through the relief valve, by rotating the handle or the rotating valve cap
to the same position as for checking the operation. Before discharge, make sure the heater
is disconnected from the power supply, and open the hot water on the connected mixer
tap. After discharging through the inlet pipe, there is still some water left in the water

heater. The remaining water will be discharged after removing the heating flange, through
the heating flange opening.
The external parts of the water heater can be cleaned with a mild detergent solution. Do
not use solvents and abrasives.
Regular preventive maintenance inspections ensure faultless performance and long life of
your heater. The first of these inspections should be carried out by the authorised
maintenance service provider about two years from installation in order to inspect the wear
of the protective anticorrosion anode and remove the lime coating and sediment as
required. The lime coating and sediment on the walls of the tank and on the heating
element is a result of quality, quantity and temperature of water flowing through the water
heater. The maintenance service provider shall also issue a condition report and
recommend the approximate date of the next inspection.
Never try to repair any possible faults of the water heater by yourself, but inform
about it the nearest authorised service workshop.

Wir haben den elektrischen Warmwasserbereiter mit LCD Bildschirm zur Steuerung durch
Berührung entsprechend den neuesten Richtlinien entwickelt. Der im OGB
Warmwasserbereiter eingebaute intelligente elektronische Regler ermöglicht außer
Einstellung und Anzeige der Wassertemperatur auch viele neuen Steuerfunktionen, wie
Zeiteinstellung, Anzeige der Wassermenge im Kessel, Betriebsart bei mehrtägiger
Abwesenheit, manuelle Einschaltung der Erwärmung, Fehlerdiagnostik und anderes.
Der neue intelligente Regler zeichnet sich aber besonders durch die neue "SMART"
Energiespar-Betriebsart aus. Der Warmwasserspeicher rechnet selbst die optimale
Betriebsart aus, und zwar kann die Wassertemperatur im Speicher in Abhängigkeit des
Benutzerverhaltens abgesenkt werden, d.h. wenn keine Entnahme erfolgt. Das Wasser
kann dann anschließend zeitgesteuert oder abhängig vom Benutzerverhalten in einem
kurzen Zeitraum auf ein höheres Temperaturniveau aufgeheizt werden.
Der Warmwasserbereiter ist im Einklang mit den gültigen Standards hergestellt und amtlich
getestet worden. Ebenso wurde auch das Sicherheitszertifikat und das Zertifikat EMV
(elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit) ausgestellt. Die technischen Eigenschaften sind auf
dem zwischen den Anschlussrohren angebrachten Typenschild angegeben. Reparaturen
und Eingriffe in das Gerät dürfen nur von einer Fachkraft bzw. dem Kundendienst
ausgeführt werden.
INSTALLATION
Der Warmwasserbereiter ist möglichst nahe an Abnahmestellen zu installieren. Bei der
Installation in einem Raum mit Badewanne oder Dusche sind unbedingt die Anforderungen
des Standards IEC 60364-7-701 (VDE 0100, Teil 701) zu beachten. Er ist mittels
Wandschrauben mit Nominaldurchmesser von mindestens 8 mm an der Wand zu
befestigen. Er darf nur in senkrechter Position befestigt werden. Bei Befestigungswänden
mit geringerer Tragfähigkeit, muss vom Installateur eine geeignete Befestigungsart gewählt
werden.

WASSERANSCHLUSS
Die Anschlüsse des Warmwasserspeichers sind farblich gekennzeichnet, der
Kaltwasserzulauf ist blau und der Warmwasserzulauf ist rot gekennzeichnet.
Der Anschluss des Warmwasserbereiters kann auf zweierlei Arten erfolgen. Das
geschlossene System (druckfestes System) versorgt mehrere Zapfstellen, während beim
offenen System (druckloses System) die Wasserentnahme nur an einer Stelle erfolgen
kann. Je nach ausgewähltem System sind auch entsprechende Mischbatterien zu
installieren.
Bei einem offenen (druckloses) System muss am Warmwasserbereiter ein
Rückschlagventil eingebaut werden, welches das Auslaufen des Wassers aus dem Kessel
verhindert. Wird das im Gerät befindliche Wasser erwärmt, so dehnt sich dessen Volumen
aus. Dies hat zur Folge, dass das Auslaufrohr der Armatur zu tropfen beginnt. Starkes
Festdrehen der Armatur kann bzw. darf dieses Ausdehnen und Tropfen nicht verhindern,
sondern führt möglicherweise zu einer Beschädigung der Armatur.
Bei einem geschlossenen (druckfesten) System müssen an den Entnahmestellen die
Druckmischbatterien verwendet werden. Am Zulaufstutzen ist wegen der
Funktionssicherheit unbedingt ein Sicherheitsventil oder eine Sicherheitsgruppe
einzubauen, die das Erhöhen des Drucks im Kessel um mehr als 0,1 MPa (1 bar) über den
Nominalwert verhindert. Die Auslassdüse am Sicherheitsventil muss unbedingt über einen
Auslass für den Luftdruck verfügen.
Bei der Aufheizung des Wassers wird der Druck im Kessel erhöht bis er den am
Sicherheitsventil eingestellten Wert erreicht. Da die Rückleitung des Wassers zurück in die
Wasserleitung verhindert ist, kann es zum Abtropfen des Wassers aus der Auslassöffnung
des Sicherheitsventils kommen. Das abtropfende Wasser kann durch den Auffangansatz,
den Sie unter dem Sicherheitsventil anbringen, in den Ablauf abgeleitet werden. Das
Ablaufrohr unter dem Auslass des Sicherheitsventils muss in der Richtung gerade nach
unten und in einer frostfreien Umgebung angebracht werden.
Falls die bereits ausgeführte Installation keine Möglichkeit bietet, das tropfende Wasser
aus dem Rückschlagventil in den Abfluss zu leiten, kann das Tröpfeln auch durch das 3 l-
Expansionsgefäß verhindert werden. Das Gefäß montieren Sie am Zulaufrohr des
Warmwasserbereiters.
Das richtige Funktionieren des Rückschlagventils müssen Sie in regelmässigen
Zeitabständen selber überprüfen und nach Bedarf den Kalk entfernen und die eventuelle
Blockade des Ventils beseitigen. Bei einer Prüfung ist durch Verschiebung des Hebels
oder durch Lösen der Ventilmutter (je nach Ventiltyp) der Auslauf aus dem
Sicherheitsventil zu öffnen. Dabei muss aus der Auslaufdüse des Ventils das Wasser
ausfließen, was die einwandfreie Funktion des Ventils bestätigt.
