A instalação deve ser de acordo com as especificações e
instruções do fabricante. Deve ser instalado, por um técnico
credenciado e experiente, cumprindo as normas vigentes.
Num sistema pressurizado é obrigatória a instalação de
uma válvula de segurança à entrada com uma pressão de
0.6 MPa (6 bar), 0.9 MPa (9 bar) ou 1.0 MPa (10 bar) (ver a
tabela), que impede o aumento de pressão no depósito acima
de 0.1 MPa (1 bar) da pressão recomendada.
Pode pingar água da válvula de segurança, por isso deve
ser regulada para a pressão atmosférica.
A torneira da válvula de segurança deve ser instalada virada
para baixo e numa área protegida de risco de congelamento.
Para garantir o bom funcionamento da válvula de
segurança, é necessário regularmente retirar possível
acumulação de calcário e verificar que não está bloqueada.
Não instalar válvula de corte entre o aparelho e a válvula de
segurança, porque iria prejudicar o funcionamento da válvula
de segurança!
Antes de ligação do termoacumulador à corrente eléctrica,
este terá de estar cheio de água!
O termoacumulador tem adicionalmente um interruptor
térmico para protecção em caso de falha de funcionamento do
termostato. No entanto a temperatura no termoacumulador
pode chegar até 130 °C de acordo com as normas de
segurança. Durante a instalação da entrada de água, tem que
se ter em conta a possibilidade de excesso de temperatura.
Se desligar o termoacumulador da corrente eléctrica, por
favor, retire toda a água do interior do aparelho, de modo a
prevenir eventual congelamento da água.

Antes de iniciar a montagem e primeira utilização do
termoacumulador, sugerimos, leia atentamente estas
instruções:
Este termoacumulador foi fabricado segundo as normas vigentes e está oficialmente
aprovado. Foi-lhe atribuído um Certificado de Segurança e um de Compatibilidade
Eletromagnética e as propriedades gerais estão indicadas na chapa de
características afixada junto aos tubos de entrada e saída de água. O
termoacumulador deve ser ligado à rede elétrica e à água de abastecimento, por um
técnico qualificado.
Qualquer tipo de intervenção, eliminação de calcário, inspeção ou troca do ânodo de
magnésio, deverá ser feita por um serviço técnico autorizado da marca.
INSTALAÇÃO
O termoacumulador deve ser instalado o mais próximo possível de uma tomada de
corrente e das ligações de água, e fixado à parede com dois parafusos com um
diâmetro mínimo de 8 mm. Se a parede não for suficientemente sólida terá de ser
reforçada.
Este modelo de termoacumulador só pode ser instalado na vertical.

LIGAÇÃO AO SISTEMA DE TUBAGEM
DE ÁGUA
A ligação do termoacumulador à tubagem de água está identificada com cores. A
ligação da entrada de água fria é a azul, enquanto que a saída da água quente é a
vermelha.
O termoacumulador pode ser ligado ao sistema de tubagem de dois modos: fechado,
o sistema pressurizado permite o abastecimento a vários pontos de consumo
enquanto que o sistema aberto permite apenas um ponto de consumo. Neste caso
as misturadoras terão que ser compatíveis com este tipo de ligação.
No sistema aberto, de acordo com a norma vigente, é necessário instalar uma
válvula de retenção para evitar o escoamento para fora da cuba, no caso de falta de
abastecimento de água. Uma vez que o aquecimento da água provoca aumento do
seu volume, poder-se-á verificar gotejamento na válvula de segurança. Este
gotejamento não deve ser solucionado pelo aperto da válvula, pelo contrário, ao
aperta-la excessivamente poderá danificá-la.
O sistema de pressão fechado exige a utilização de válvula de segurança que
impede que a pressão na cuba exceda a pressão nominal de mais 0,1 MPa (1 bar).
O aquecimento da água no termoacumulador faz com que aumente a pressão no
interior da cuba, até ao nível estabelecido pela válvula de segurança. Como a água
não pode voltar à rede de abastecimento, isso pode resultar no gotejamento na
válvula de segurança o que é normal. Este gotejamento deve, de acordo com a
norma, ser direcionado pelo tubo de escoamento, colocado na válvula, direcionado
na vertical, protegido de condições de congelamento.
No caso da instalação não permitir efetuar o escoamento do gotejamento, pode evita
-lo com a colocação de um vaso de expansão de 3 litros, na tubagem de entrada do
termoacumulador.
Para um bom funcionamento da válvula de segurança, esta deverá ser verificada
periodicamente, eliminando formação de calcário e verificar se está bloqueada.
Para verificar a válvula, abrir a saída da válvula de segurança, girando o manípulo ou

A válvula estará a funcionar devidamente, se a água sair do bocal, quando o
escoamento estiver aberto.

Entre o termoacumulador e a vávula de segurança não deve ser instalado
nenhuma válvula, pois impedirá o bom funcionamento da válvula de segurança.
O termoacumulador pode ser instalado à rede de abastecimento da água sem válvula
redutora de pressão, se a pressão na rede for inferior à pressão nominal.
Se a pressão da rede for superior à pressão nominal, terá de ser instalado uma válvula
redutora de pressão.
Antes de conectar à corrente electrica, o termoacumulador terá de estar
obrigatóriamente cheio de água. No seu primeiro enchimento, a torneira de água
quente tem de ser aberta. Quando o termoacumulador estiver cheio de água, esta
começerá a sair através da torneira da água quente.
LIGAÇÃO DO TERMOACUMULADOR Á
REDE ELÉCTRICA
A instalação do termoacumulador à rede eléctrica tem de ser efectuada segundo as
normas da instalação eléctrica. O circuito eléctrico deve ter sempre uma protecção
diferencial com sensibilidade de corrente, em conformidade com os regulamentos
nacionais.

ATENÇÃO: Antes de tentar aceder ao interior do termoacumulador, certifique-
se que este está completamente desligado da corrente electrica!
UTILIZAÇÃO E MANUTENÇÃO
O termoacumulador está pronto a ser utilizado, assim que tiver sido ligado à água e
à electricidade. Girando o botão, poderá seleccionar a temperatura da água entre
10 °C e 65 °C +5 °C/-0°C. Aconselha-se a colocar o botão na posição "eco"
assegurando o funcionamento mais económico do termoacumulador. Desta forma a
temperatura mantém-se 55 °C, diminui-se o depósito de calcário e há menores
perdas de calor, contrariamente ao que acontece com temperaturas mais elevadas.
O indicador luminoso mostra o funcionamento da resistência.
O termoacumulador vem equipado com um termometro no exterior, que indica a
temperatura interna. Enquanto o botão de controlo do termóstato estabelece a
temperatura da água na parte inferior do aquecedor, o termômetro mostra a
temperatura do lugar da sua instalação. Por conseguinte, essas duas temperaturas
podem diferir. O termometro mostra aproximadamente a temperatura da água e não
é um instrumento de medida. Quando o termoacumulador não for utilizado por longo
periodo de tempo, deve ser protegido contra congelamento,colocando a temperatura
" ". Não desligar, deste modo a temperatura mantêm-se a 10 °C. Se decidir desligar
da corrente eléctrica, o termoacumulador deverá ser esvaziado. Antes de esvaziar o
termoacumulador, certifique-se que está desligado da corrente eléctrica, e de
seguida abrir a torneira da água quente.
As partes exteriores do termoacumulador podem ser limpas com um detergente
suave. Não usar dissolventes nem abrasivos, pois podem danificar o
termoacumulador.
Efectuar inspecção de manutenção preventiva, garante durabilidade do aparelho.
A primeira deverá ser efectuada dois anos após a sua instalação (entre 6 meses a 1
ano dependendo da zona geográfica e dureza da água), por um serviço autorizado, a
fim de verificar o desgaste do ânodo de magnésio (sistema de protecção anti-
corrosiva) e remover o calcário depositado. Os depósitos de calcário
dependem da dureza da água e da temperatura. O serviço de manutenção deve ficar
assinalado, e indicada a próxima inspecção a ser realizada.
Nunca tente reparar qualquer problema técnico do termoacumulador. Contacte
o serviço de Assistência técnica.

WARNINGS
The appliance may be used by children older than 8 years
old, elderly persons and persons with physical, sensory or
mental disabilities or lacking experience and knowledge, if they
are under supervision or taught about safe use of the appliance
and if they are aware of the potential dangers.
Children should not play with the appliance.
Children should not clean or perform maintenance on the
appliance without supervision.
Installation should be carried out in accordance with the
valid regulations and according to the instructions of the
manufacturer and by qualified staff.
In a closed, pressurised system of installation, it is obligatory
to install a safety valve on the inlet pipe with a rated pressure of
0.6 MPa (6 bar), 0.9 MPa (9 bar) or 1.0 MPa (10 bar) (see the
label), which prevents the elevation of pressure in the boiler by
more than 0.1 MPa (1 bar) above the rated pressure.
Water may drip from the outlet opening of the safety valve,
so the outlet opening should be set to atmospheric pressure.
The outlet of the safety valve should be installed facing
downwards and in a non-freezing area.
To ensure proper functioning of the safety valve, the user
should perform regular controls to remove limescale and make
sure the safety valve is not blocked.
Do not install a stop valve between the water heater and the
safety valve, because it will impair the pressure protection of the
heater!
Before connecting it to the power supply, the water heater
must be filled with water!
The heater is equipped with an additional thermal cut-off for
protection in case of failure of the operating thermostat. In this
case, however, the temperature of the water in the heater can
reach up to 130 °C according to the safety standards. During
the water supply installation, the possibility of temperature
overloads should be taken into account.
If the heater is to be disconnected from the power supply,
please drain any water from the heater to prevent freezing.

your own. Call the nearest authorised service provider.

Prior to the installation and first use of the electric water
heater, please read these instructions carefully.
This water heater has been manufactured in compliance with the relevant standards
and tested by the relevant authorities as indicated by the Safety Certificate and the
Electromagnetic Compatibility Certificate. The technical characteristics of the product
are listed on the label affixed between the inlet and outlet pipes. The installation must
be carried out by qualified staff. All repairs and maintenance work within the water
heater, e.g. lime removal or inspection/replacement of the protective anticorrosion
anode, must be carried out by an authorised maintenance service provider.
INSTALLATION
The water heater shall be installed as close as possible to the outlets. When installing
the water heater in a room with a bathtub or shower, take into account the
requirements defined in IEC Standard 60364-7-701 (VDE 0100, Part 701). It has to
be fitted to the wall using appropriate wall screws with a minimum diameter of 8 mm.
A wall with a poor load-bearing capacity must be properly reinforced where the heater
will be installed. The water heater may only be fixed upon the wall vertically.

CONNECTION TO THE WATER SUPPLY
The water heater connections for the inlet and outlet of water are colour-coded. The
inlet of cold water is marked with blue colour, while the hot water outlet is marked
with red colour.
The water heater can be connected to the water supply in two ways. The closed-
circuit pressure system enables several points of use, while the open-circuit gravity
system enables a single point of use only. The mixer taps must also be installed in
accordance with the selected installation mode.
The open-circuit gravity system requires the installation of a non-return valve in order
to prevent the water from draining out of the tank in the event of the water supply
running dry or being shut down. This installation mode requires the use of a cross-
flow mixer tap. As the heating of water expands its volume, this causes the tap to
drip. The dripping cannot be stopped by tightening it further; on the contrary, the
tightening can only damage the tap.
The closed-circuit pressure system requires the use of pressure mixer taps. For
safety reasons the supply pipe must be fitted with a safety valve or alternatively, a
valve of the safety class that prevents the pressure in the tank from exceeding the
nominal pressure by more than 0.1 MPa (1 bar). The outlet opening on the relief
valve must be equipped with an outlet for atmospheric pressure.
The heating of water in the heater causes the pressure in the tank to increase to the
level set by the safety valve. As the water cannot return to the water supply system,
this can result in dripping from the outlet of the safety valve. The drip can be piped to
the drain by installing a catching unit just below the safety valve. The drain installed
below the safety valve outlet must be piped down vertically and placed in an
environment that is free from the onset of freezing conditions.
In case the existing plumbing does not enable you to pipe the dripping water from the
safety valve into the drain, you can avoid the dripping by installing a 3-litre expansion
tank on the inlet water pipe of the boiler.
In order to provide correct operation of the safety valve, periodical inspections of the
relief valve must be carried out by the user to eliminate any limescale and check if the
safety valve is blocked. To check the valve, open the outlet of the safety valve by
turning the handle or unscrewing the nut of the valve (depending on the type of the

valve). The valve is operating properly if the water comes out of the nozzle when the
outlet is open.
Closed (pressure) system Open (non-pressure) system
Between the water heater and safety valve, no closing valve may be built in
because it could impede the function of the safety valve.
The heater can be connected to the domestic water supply network without a
pressure-reducing valve if the pressure in the network is lower than the nominal
pressure. If the pressure in the network exceeds the nominal pressure, a pressure-
reducing valve must be installed.
Before connecting it to the power supply, the water heater must be filled with
water. When filling the heater for the first time, the tap for the hot water on the
mixing tap must be opened. When the heater is filled with water, the water starts to
run through the outlet pipe of the mixing tap.
Connecting the heater to the power supply network must take place in accordance
with the standards for electric appliances. To comply with the national installation
regulations, an all poles disconnect switch must be installed between the water
heater and the power supply network.

Electric installation
CAUTION: Before any intervention into the interior of the water heater,
disconnect it from the power supply network!
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
After connecting to the water and power supply, the heater is ready for use. By
turning the thermostat knob, water temperature can be set between 10 °C and 65 °C
+5 °C/-0°C. We recommend that the knob be set to the position "eco" ensuring the
most economic operation of the water heater. This way, the water temperature is
maintained at 55 °C while the operation also results in less lime sediment as well as
in less heat losses than is the case at higher temperatures. During the operation of
an electric heater can hear noise in the water heater. The light indicator shows the
operation of the heating element. On the casing of the water heater a bimetal
thermometer is mounted, pointing clockwise (to the right) whenever there is hot water
in the water heater. The thermometer shows the temperature at the place of
installation, while the control knob on the thermostat sets the temperature of water in
the bottom part of the heater. As a result these two temperatures may differ. The
thermometer only gives an approximate temperature of water and is not a measuring
device. When the water heater is not in use for longer periods of time, it should be
protected from freezing by setting the temperature to " ". Do not disconnect the
power. Thus the temperature of water is maintained at about 10 °C. Should you
choose to disconnect the power, the water heater should be thoroughly drained
before the onset of freezing conditions. Water from the heater is drained through the
inlet pipe of the heater. For this purpose, a special fitting (T-fitting) must be mounted
between the relief valve and the heater inlet pipe, or a discharge tap. The heater can
be discharged directly through the relief valve, by rotating the handle or the rotating
valve cap to the same position as for checking the operation. Before discharge, make
sure the heater is disconnected from the power supply, and open the hot water on the
connected mixer tap. After discharging through the inlet pipe, there is still some water
left in the water heater. The remaining water will be discharged after removing the
heating flange, through the heating flange opening.
The external parts of the water heater can be cleaned with a mild detergent solution.
Do not use solvents and abrasives.
Regular preventive maintenance inspections ensure faultless performance and long
life of your heater. The first of these inspections should be carried out by the
authorised maintenance service provider about three years from installation in order

to inspect the wear of the protective anticorrosion anode and remove the lime coating
and sediment as required. The lime coating and sediment on the walls of the tank
and on the heating element is a result of quality, quantity and temperature of water
flowing through the water heater. The maintenance service provider shall also issue a
condition report and recommend the approximate date of the next inspection.
Never try to repair any possible faults of the water heater by yourself, but
inform about it the nearest authorised service workshop.
