1) Clear the meter reading (clear).
The nvoWhTot meter reading can be set to zero with nviEnrgyClr.
The nvoRegValWhTot meter reading remains unaffected.
2) Save the meter reading (freeze).
If the nviEnergyFreeze network variable is transmitted to the meter, the meter saves its
current meter reading along with a time stamp, nvoRegValWhFr.
