Overview
These instructions are for installing a sift-proof nozzle to
an InvisiPac GS35 Plug-Free Hot Melt Applicator. These
nozzles are intended for applications that require
sealing a box or other container to prevent granular
material from sifting through cracks.
The nozzles repeatedly dispense six simultaneous hot
melt adhesive shots onto the flaps of a box. When the
box is pressed together, the adhesive shots blend into a
continuous bead to seal the box and prevent material
from leaking out of it.
The sift-proof nozzles are for use with InvisiPac
Sift-Proof GS35 Plug-Free Hot Melt Applicators only.
Select the appropriate kit based on the tip size you need
for your application. See Kits on this page.
Sift-proof nozzles require a GS35 sift-proof module for
installation, part no. 25E616. Refer to the Module Repair
Kit Instructions. See Related Manuals on this page.

Pressure Relief Procedure
1. Turn off the InvisiPac main power switch.
2. Close the bleed-type master air valve.
3. Actuate the applicator repeatedly until no fluid flows.
4. If you suspect the current module nozzle is clogged,
remove the nozzle and actuate the module to
relieve pressure.
5. If you suspect the module or fluid hose is clogged or
that pressure has not been fully relieved after
following the steps above, very slowly loosen the
inlet fitting, inlet filter, or hose end coupling to
relieve pressure gradually. Then loosen it
completely. Clear the hose or module obstruction.
6. Turn off air pressure to the solenoid valve.
Installation Steps
NOTE: The GS35 sift-proof module (Kit no. 25E616) is
required for installing the sift-proof nozzle.
1. Follow the Pressure Relief Procedure.
2. Refer to the Module Repair Kit Instructions to install
Kit 25E616. See Related Manuals on page 2.
3. Refer to Figure 1 and place the o-ring (2) included
in the kit on the back of the nozzle (1). See Parts on
page 4.
4. Attach the nozzle (1) to the module using the two
screws (3) provided in the kit as shown in Figure 2.
Torque the screws to 1.5-2.5 in-lbs (.17-.28 N•m).
5. Turn the main power switch on.
WARNING
BURN HAZARD
Equipment surfaces and fluid that is heated can
become very hot during operation. To avoid severe
burns, wear protective equipment and do not touch
hot fluid or equipment.
WARNING
PRESSURIZED FLUID HAZARD
The equipment in this system stays pressurized until
pressure is manually relieved. To help prevent serious
injury from pressurized fluid, such as skin injection,
splashing fluid, and moving parts, follow the Pressure
Relief Procedure when you stop pumping and before
cleaning or servicing the equipment.
