Diagram 5. Repeatedly pushing the
volume switch will cycle through the 4
levels of volumes available.
FLASHING LIGHT (DW050A & DW051A)
A bright xenon light will flash and
accompany the tune. This feature is
particularly useful for the hard of
hearing or when using the chime in a
noisy environment. The volume can
be muted following the instructions
above.
If you have the model DW040A
Ambassador Kit but would like the
flashing light feature, you can
purchase the GreenBrook model
‘DW051A Beacon Receiver’ seperately.
This can be used on it’s own or as an
additional receiver.
See Diagram 5. for the sound/flashing
light options.
The unit comes with factory set code.
Only change it if you experience
interference from a neighbour’s unit.
Remove cover transmitter from base
as in 1a) leaving the batteries in
position. Set the dial as in Diag.3. to
required number i.e “6”, set this
number “6” on the corresponding dial
on the reciever.
Press push button on the transmitter
to check that the chime works and
carefully replace transmitter as above.
Test your doorchime by moving the
receiver in different rooms and at
varying distances from the
transmitter to ascertain the coverage
available in your home, this way you
are unlikely to miss any visitors. If
preferred, the receiver can be hung
on a wall using the keyhole slot at
the back.
Fault : Chime does not sound
Cause :
• Check batteries are not flat and
they have been inserted the correct
way round. Do not mix different
types of batteries.
• Re-check the dials and switches in
the transmitter and reciever if the
house codes have been amended.
• Move the receiver nearer the
transmitter.
• Re-check the volume control

a DW060A transmitter can be
purchased separately and fixed to the
outside door. Follow instructions in
section 2 above. A different tune on
the second transmitter can be selected
to identify which door the caller is at.
Follow section 3 above. Ensure the
house codes on all the transmitters
and receivers are identical (see section
4 above).
Additional receivers are also available
– models DW041A and DW051A, so
that doorchime can be heard in a

ously e.g. in the garden shed and in
the kitchen.
