Engine exhaust fumes can cause sickness or death. If it is necessary
to run an engine in an enclosed area, use an exhaust pipe extension
to remove the fumes. Always try to work in a well ventilated area.

Handle fuel with care, it is highly flamma le: Do not refuel machine
while smoking, when machine is near an open flame or sparks, or
when the engine is running. Stop the engine.

Before using the machine, it is mandatory to put on the appropriate
individual safety devices: ody protection, protection gloves, security
shoes, ear protection.

Dear customer,
thank you for choosing our wheeled trimmer. We are sure that your new wheeled trimmer's
performance will fully meet your requirements. To ensure optimum service and maintenance over
time, read this manual carefully and follow the instructions. This will give you the best result and will
protect your investment. lease keep this manual, which must always accompany the wheeled
trimmer.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND INTENDED USE
The wheeled trimmer HWT700 SU ERTRAC has been designed to cut grass, small bushes, to carry
out finishing works and to maintain fallow land, both on flat ground and on slopes.
CAUTION! Read this manua carefu y before starting the engine.
The fo owing warnings are very important for the operator's safety.
WARNINGS
Caution is the main safeguard in preventing accidents. We urge you to read the warnings that follow
when using the wheeled trimmer, before starting any work at all. Improper use of the wheeled trimmer
and its equipment can be dangerous. To reduce the risks to the minimum, observe the necessary
precautions set out below:
1) Read the whole of this manual before using your wheeled trimmer. Be thoroughly familiar with the
controls and the proper use of the machine before starting.
2) ay special attention to the safety warnings and labels.
3) The rotating tiller is extremely dangerous; never insert hands or feet under the whee ed
trimmer!
4) Before other people are allowed to use the machine, make sure they are informed about the safety
regulations and how to properly use this equipment.
5) Ensure children and animals are kept at a safe distance of about 15 metres. Do not allow people to
come closer to the wheeled trimmer when it is being used.
6) Do not use the machine when physically fatigues or under the influence of alcohol or drugs that
could impair the operator's physical and mental capacities.
7) Thoroughly check the ground before using the wheeled trimmer and remove any object that could
damage the tines (e.g. stones) or that could be caught up and flung down, therefore becoming highly
dangerous. (e.g. branches, stones).
8) A ways wear suitab e c othing and footwear. It is recommended to wear safety footwear,
safety gogg es, ear p ugs and g oves, ong trousers. Do not wear c othing or accessories that
cou d get trapped in the contro s or in the ti er (e.g. oose trousers, scarves…).
9) ay close attention when working on slopes. Always work across the slope and never
upwards/downwards. ay greater attention when changing direction on slopes and never work on
excessively steep ground (max. 30°).
10) Never allow the machine to be used by anyone under 16 years of age.
11) ay close attention when operating the machine in reverse, make sure that there are no obstacles
behind you.

12) It is dangerous to sharply activate the levers with the engine at maximum r.p.m.
13) Do not operate the engine in a confined space where dangerous carbon monoxide fumes can
collect.
14) CAUTION: Petro is high y inf ammab e. Store fuel in containers especially designed for this
purpose. Refuel outdoors and away from any open flames or sparks. Never smoke when refuelling.
Stop the engine before refuelling and never refuel with the engine running. Never remove the tap of
the fuel tank or add fuel when the engine is hot. If fuel is spilled, do not attempt to start the engine but
move the machine away from the area of spillage and avoid creating any source of ignition until fuel
vapours have dissipated. After refuelling all fuel caps should be closed securely.
15) Avoid spillages and clean up all spills straight away.
16) Store fuel in containers especially designed for this purpose.
17) Make sure you work preferably in natural light or good artificial light.
18) Never use the wheeled trimmer to crush building, metallic and plastic material nor roots and trunks
or any sort of garbage.
19) Do not use the machine to transport people, animals or objects.
20) Never disab e safety devices.
21) A ways stop the engine before making any adjustment or c eaning.
22) Never a ow anyone to check the machine with engine running.
23) The user is always responsible for injuries or damages caused to third parties and for any risk they
could run.
24) Damaged tines must always be replaced and never repaired.
25) Always use genuine Grillo spare parts.
26) Before starting any work with the machine, check that all the accident prevention systems the
wheeled trimmer is equipped with, are in perfect working order. They must never be disabled or
tampered with.
27) Before starting work, check the brake system efficiency and adjust it if necessary.
28) Never operate the machine without safety protective devices in place (such as mudguards and
engine bonnets).
29) Never clean the wheeled trimmer with the engine running.
30) Never use the machine barefoot.
31) Never change the max R M engine settings nor any other engine settings.
32) Allow the engine to cool before storing in any enclosure.
33) CAUTION: To reduce the risk of fire, keep the engine, the exhaust pipe and the exhaust manifolds
free from grass, leaves, dust, etc…
34) Drain the fuel only outdoors.
35) Do not run with the wheeled trimmer.
36) Ho d your feet away when starting the machine.
37) Do not lift or transport the machine with the engine running.
38) Do not store the machine with fue in the tank where petro vapours cou d reach an open
f ame or source of ignition.
39) Grillo wheeled trimmers has been designed with the sole purpose of being used with original Grillo
attachments of with attachments designed by other manufacturers expressively authorized by Grillo.
Non original attachments as well as attachments produced and/or modified by non-authorized
manufacturers must never been connected to the wheeled trimmer. If you have any question or doubt
please contact the nearest Grillo authorized dealer.

CAUTION!
We recommend the use of ear plugs/protection should the wheeled trimmer be used for a prolonged
time. Use acoustic protections compliant with the current law (see picture below – Fig. A).

IDENTIFICATION AND SERVICING
IDENTIFICATION
The wheeled trimmer serial number is to be found
on the wheeled trimmer frame.
Always state the serial number when ordering
spare parts.
AFTER-SALES SERVICE
This handbook provides instructions for use of the cultivator and for correct basic servicing which the
user can carry out himself. For all procedures not described in this handbook, contact your local
dealer.
SPARE PARTS
Always use original spare parts, as they are the only ones to offer complete safety and
interchangeability. Always state the serial number when ordering. For engine parts, refer to the
specific handbook.
WARRANTY
The guarantee is given in compliance with the current law. The dealer will have to give the client a
copy of the registration card of the machine, which they will print up from the Grillo website. For the
engine the guarantee of the relative manufacturers apply.

PUTTING THE WHEELED TRIMMER INTO SERVICE
1) Check that the wheeled trimmer has not been damaged in transit.
2) Remove the wheeled trimmer from the packaging, paying attention not to damage lever and
wires. Use an appropriate lifting machine (min. lifting capacity 100 kg).
3) Mount both the side and front protections (fig. 1, n. 16 – 17).
4) Mount the handlebar (fig. 11) by inserting the wire fair-leads into the eyelets and positioning it in
the desired position by fixing the screws (fig. 1, n. 20)
5) Check the tyre pressure: wheels 3.50-8 (2 LY RATING) 1,1 BAR
6) Fill the tank with fuel (fig. 3, n. 12) using a funnel equipped with a very fine filter.
7) Check the oil level with the machine set in horizontal position (fig. 3, n. 13).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before starting the engine:
- check the oil level inside the engine. The level cap is on the upper housing of the engine (fig. 3, n.
13) and the oil level must reach between the two notches.
- check that all nuts and bolts are firmly tightened.
- check that both red levers are raised.
- check that the air filter (fig. 3, n. 15) is clean. Caution: do not blow the cartridge with compressed
air. If the cartridge is clogged, it has to be replaced.
- set the handlebar at the desired height and fix it via the appropriate screws (fig. 1, n. 20).
- fill the tank with fuel using a funnel with a very fine filter. The fuel tank cap is placed over the
engine (fig. 3, n. 12).
STARTING THE PETROL ENGINE
If the engine is cold set the throttle lever at the starter position (fully forward – fig. 4). If the engine is
warm, push the throttle lever to the midway position. Then pull hard on the pull starter handle (fig. 3,
no. 14). Once the engine is running, pull the throttle lever backwards to disengage the starter. Let the
engine warm up for a couple of minutes before starting work.
STARTING THE MACHINE
The forward lever is located on the left side of the handlebar.
CAUTION: The machine starts moving IMMEDIATELY by pressing the eft red ever (fig. 2, n. 5).
By releasing the red lever (fig. 2, n. 5), the machine will stop but the engine will keep running and the
red lever returns back to the STO position.
If the wheeled trimmer has to be braked use the left black lever (fig. 2, n. 7). CAUTION: the brake
ever and the forward ever cannot be engaged at the same time. To adjust the braking of the
machine use the adjusting screws: one is located next to the lever and is used to adjust the main
cable (fig. 5, n. 8), while other two are located below the cable splitter (fig. 6, n. 11) and are used to
adjust each single brake.
To engage the parking brake (fig. 5, n. 9) pull the brake lever and the pull the small lever underneath.
HANDLEBAR ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the height of the handlebar loosen the appropriate screws (fig. 1, n. 20), raise or lower the
handlebar and then tighten the screws again to lock its position.
STARTING WORK
Make sure there are neither people nor animals around the area to be cut.
The lever to engage the cutting device is located on the right side of the handlebar. To engage the
cutting device push the grey safety device (fig. 2, n. 3), then press the red lever (fig. 2, n. 2).
CAUTION: when pressing the right red ever (fig. 2, n. 2) and engaging the cutting device, the
strings start rotating.
IN CASE OF DANGER IMMEDIATELY RELEASE THE RED LEVER PLACED ON THE RIGHT OF
THE HANDLEBAR (fig. 2, n. 2), THE CUTTING DEVICE WILL DISENGAGE IMMEDIATELY.

FINISHING WORK
Once work is ended, switch the engine off by setting the throttle lever back into the STO position
(fully rearwards - fig. 4).
CAUTION: If the machine is to be parked on a slope always engage the parking brake (fig. 2, n. 9).
CAUTION: never leave the machine unguarded or in a place where children or inexperienced people
could have easy access to it.
REPLACING THE STRINGS
Replace the strings when worn out (fig. 1, n. 18).
CAUTION: Never replace the strings with the engine running.
The cutting diameter is of 60 cm. Check the length of the strings before replacing them and make sure
they do not come in touch with the machine while rotating (fig. 7).
CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the cutting height, insert the strings in the holes at various heights (fig. 8, pos. A-B-C-D). In
position D the string works very low to the ground. This is the ideal position to remove weeds from
paving stones. If the ground is very uneven, set the strings at the highest position. To set the string
holder at position C and D use the appropriate screw (fig. 7, n. 24).
TROUBLESHOOTING
The following is a list of small problems which may occur during the use of the wheeled trimmer, which
the operator himself can remedy.
1)
2) If the engine does not start:
- the fuel tank must be at least half full (fig. 3, n. 12)
- if the engine is cold the choke must be engaged (fig. 4)
- the fuel must reach the carburettor
- the vent hole on the tank cap must not be blocked.
- the carburettor nozzles must be clean. To check them, unscrew and clean them with an air jet if
dirty.
- the plug must provide a spark. To check if it works, remove the plug reconnect it to the power
supply cable, rest the metal part on an electrical ground and turn the engine pulley as if to start it. If
no spark is seen between the two electrodes, try checking the plug cable connections and if power
is still not received, replace the plug. If the new plug still fails to work, the problem is in the
electrical system and you should contact your nearest service centre or authorized dealer.
2) If the engine is running but the whee ed trimmer does not move forward correct y:
- check that the left red lever if fully pressed (fig. 2, n. 5). If necessary adjust the wire (fig. 2, n. 6).
- make sure that the belt has not come out of its position on the pulleys. To check it remove the
cover below the machine (fig. 7, n. 19).
- Should the problem not be solved, increase the belt tensioning by shifting the engine of a couple
of mm towards the handlebar, loosening the three screws on the engine flange (fig. 10, n. 23).
3) The strings do not rotate proper y:
- check that the right red lever if fully pressed (fig. 2, n. 2). If the strings do not turn, use the wire
adjusting screw (fig. 3, n. 4).
- make sure that the belt has not come out of its position on the pulleys. To check it remove the
front green cover of the machine (fig. 1, n. 21) and the cover below the machine (fig. 1, n. 19).

- Should the problem not be solved, increase the belt tensioning by shifting the engine of a couple
of mm towards the handlebar, loosening the three screws on the engine flange (fig. 10, n. 23).
4) Poor cut qua ity:
- make sure that the cutting diameter has not reduced too much and that that the strings are not
worn out. Replace them if necessary.
5) The engine does not switch off:
- check that the throttle lever (fig. 2, n. 1) is fully closed – STO position (fig. 4).
6) To adjust the braking of the machine use the adjusting screws: one is located next to the lever
and is used to adjust the main cable (fig. 5, n. 8), while other two are located below the cable
splitter (fig. 6, n. 11) and are used to adjust each single brake.
PERIOD OF LONG-TERM STORAGE
If the wheeled trimmer is to be out of use for a long period:
- fully drain the fuel from the tank.
- thoroughly clean both the machine and the engine.
MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION
CAUTION!
- Disconnect the p ug before performing any c eaning, maintenance or repair operation. A ways
wear suitab e c othing and working g oves.
- When the whee ed trimmer or part of it is ifted to carry out maintenance operations, a ways
remember to use suitab e fixing too s such as ho ders and safety ocks.
- When carrying out maintenance operations and/or when the whee ed trimmer is ti ted without
safety ocks or supports, never eave it unguarded in p aces where inexperienced peop e and
chi dren cou d have easy access to it.
- Protect the environment: carefu y dispose of used oi s, petro and any other po utant
product!
- Effective maintenance and correct ubrication he p to keep the whee ed trimmer fu y efficient.
RUNNING-IN – Replace the engine oil after the first 20 working hours (fig. 3, n. 13 and fig. 9, n. 22).
Check that there are neither oil leakages nor loosen screws.
ENGINE OIL
Always follow the instructions provided in the engine manual. Replace the engine oil after the first 20
working hours, then check the level every 8 hours and replace the oil every 50 working hours. Always
use oil 10W30 API SJ.
TIPS FOR PROPER USE
1) Never leave the machine exposed to bad weather conditions.
2) Always clean levers and wires from dust and keep them well-lubricated.
3) Never strain the engine. If smoke comes out of the exhaust, slow down.
4) Frequently check the tyre pressure.
5) Remove any grass deposits form the engine cooling grid and often clean the air filter.
6) It is highly recommended to use square-section strings or strings with sharp edges.

IMPLEMENTS
GRASS-GUARD PROTECTION
This protections is recommended when cutting along streets and avenues to prevent the grass from
being thrown away (fig. 9). It can be mounted on the right side as well as on the left side of the
machine.
ANTI-SKID TOOTHED DISK KIT
These disks (fig. 10) can be mounted on the hub of the 3,50-8 wheels via the appropriate couplings
delivered with the kit. Combined with the wheels, this implement allows a greater grip on low-
adherence grounds and on slopes.
WARNINGS FOR TRANSPORT
Wheeled trimmers cannot be used on public roads. If the machine is to be transported on a lorry or a
trailer, lower the handlebar, engage the parking brake (fig. 2, n. 9), fasten the machine to the
lorry/trailer using ropes or belts. If a lifting machine is used to lift the wheels trimmers from the ground
into the lorry/trailer make sure its lifting capacity its suitable for the machine.

questa sua nuova macchina risponda pienamente alle sue esigenze. er l'impiego ottimale e per la
sua manutenzione nel tempo, la preghiamo di leggere attentamente e seguire scrupolosamente le
indicazioni di questo libretto; ciò le consentirà di ottenere i massimi risultati e salvaguardare la sua

DESCRIZIONE GENERALE E USO PREVISTO
Il decespugliatore a filo TRIMMER HWT700 SU ERTRAC è indicato per il taglio dell'erba e di
piccoli arbusti, per lavori di rifinitura e per decespugliare zone incolte, adattandosi ad ogni
condizione di terreno, lavorando sia in pianura che su forti pendenze.
ATTENZIONE! Leggere attentamente prima di avviare il motore.
Le seguenti a ertenze sono importanti per l'incolumità dell'operatore!
AVVERTENZE
La prudenza è l'arma principale nella prevenzione degli incidenti!
La preghiamo vivamente di leggere con attenzione le seguenti avvertenze, prima ancora di iniziare
il lavoro.
L'uso improprio della macchina e il suo equipaggiamento può risultare dannoso; per ridurre queste
possibilità osservare le precauzioni necessarie di seguito riportate:
1) rima di utilizzare il decespugliatore, leggere attentamente tutte le istruzioni riportate su questo
manuale. rendere familiarità con i comandi ed il corretto uso della macchina.
2) orre particolare attenzione alle etichette di sicurezza poste sulla macchina.
3) La rotazione dei fili del decespugliatore è altamente pericolosa, non mettere mai le mani o i
piedi sotto al decespugliatore.
4) Consentire l'uso del decespugliatore soltanto a persone che hanno letto il presente manuale o
che hanno ricevuto adeguate istruzioni per un uso sicuro e appropriato.
5) Tenere bambini e animali ad una distanza di almeno 15 metri dall'area di lavoro. Non consentire
ad altre persone o animali di avvicinarsi al decespugliatore quando questo viene acceso o
utilizzato.
6) Non utilizzare il decespugliatore in condizioni di affaticamento fisico, o sotto l'effetto di alcool,
droghe o farmaci che riducano le capacità fisiche e cognitive dell'operatore.
7) Controllare l'area nella quale deve essere utilizzata la macchina: prima di procedere con il taglio
dell'erba, rimuovere tutti gli oggetti che potrebbero danneggiare la macchina (es. pietre) o che
potrebbero essere lanciati dall'attrezzo azionato (es. sassi, rami ecc.).
8) Quando si la ora con il decespugliatore utilizzare sempre un abbigliamento adeguato. Si
consiglia d'indossare calzature di sicurezza, occhiali o isiera protetti a, cuffie o tappi
antirumore, guanti da la oro, pantaloni lunghi. E itare di indossare indumenti o accessori
che possano impigliarsi nei comandi o nelle fruste (es. non indossare pantaloni larghi,
sciarpe…).
9) Sui pendii agire sempre con cautela, lavorare ad una pendenza massima pari a 30°.
10) E' vietato l'uso del decespugliatore ai minori di 16 anni.

11) Liberare da ostacoli le zone di manovra.
12) È pericoloso azionare le leve bruscamente, in particolare col motore a massimo regime.
13) er evitare il pericolo di esalazioni tossiche, non adoperare il motore acceso in un locale
chiuso.
14) ATTENZIONE! La benzina è altamente infiammabile. Conservare il carburante in appositi
recipienti. Fare rifornimento di carburante solamente all'aperto lontano da fiamme libere e scintille.
Non fumare durante questa operazione. Aggiungere il carburante sempre prima di avviare il
motore, mai a motore acceso. Non togliere mai il tappo del serbatoio né aggiungere benzina
quando il motore è in funzione o quando è caldo. In caso di fuoriuscita di benzina, non tentare di
avviare il motore, ma allontanare la macchina dall'area dove è avvenuta la fuoriuscita, evitando di
creare fonti di accensione finché non si sono dissipati i vapori della benzina.
15) Evitare fuoriuscite di combustibile e, dopo aver riempito il serbatoio, pulire ogni eventuale
fuoriuscita prima di avviare il motore.
16) Immagazzinare il carburante in contenitori specificatamente costruiti con questo obiettivo.
17) Lavorare solo con la luce del sole o con buona illuminazione artificiale.
18) In nessun caso utilizzare il decespugliatore Grillo per frantumare materiali edilizi, plastici,
metallici, radici, tronchi e rifiuti in genere.
19) Non utilizzare mai la macchina per trasportare persone o animali.
20) Non manomettere o disatti are i dispositi i di sicurezza.
21) Non fare nessun tipo di regolazione o pulizia col motore in moto.
22) Non fare controllare la macchina da nessuno mentre siete alla guida col motore in moto.
23) L'utilizzatore è sempre responsabile dei danni arrecati a terzi, degli incidenti o dei pericoli nei
quali possono incorrere.
24) In caso di componenti rotanti deformati o danneggiati procedere sempre con la sostituzione,
mai tentare riparazioni o saldature.
25) Usare sempre ricambi originali Grillo.
26) rima di cominciare qualsiasi lavoro con la macchina, verificare che tutti i sistemi
antinfortunistici di cui essa è dotata siano perfettamente funzionanti. È severamente vietato
escluderli o manometterli.
27) Verificare l'efficacia dei dispositivi frenanti e se necessario registrarli adeguatamente.
28) L'attrezzatura protettiva (cofani, parafanghi, ecc.), va assolutamente mantenuta durante i lavori
di taglio.
29) Non pulire la macchina con il motore acceso.
30) Durante il lavoro devono essere utilizzate scarpe di sicurezza.
31) Non cambiare le regolazioni del motore, in modo particolare il numero massimo di giri.
32) Far raffreddare il motore prima di mettere la macchina in locali chiusi.
33) ATTENZIONE: per ridurre il pericolo di incendio mantenere il motore, la marmitta e i
collettori di scarico liberi da erba, foglie, pol ere ecc..
34) Se dovete svuotare il serbatoio del carburante eseguite l’operazione all’aperto.
35) Non correre, ma accompagnare la macchina sempre e solo camminando.
36) A iare la macchina tenendo i piedi ben distanti dalle fruste.
37) Non sollevare o trasportare la macchina quando il motore è acceso.
38) Non immagazzinare mai la macchina con benzina nel serbatoio all'interno di un edificio
do e i apori possono raggiungere una fiamma libera o una scintilla.
39) I decespugliatori Grillo sono stati progettati unicamente per essere utilizzati con accessori
originali Grillo o con accessori di produttori autorizzati dalla stessa ditta Grillo. Non installare sulla
macchina accessori non originali, o prodotti da aziende non autorizzate Grillo o comunque

modificati da personale non autorizzato Grillo. er qualsiasi dubbio contattare sempre un

MESSA IN OPERA DELLA MACCHINA
1) 1) Controllare l’integrità della macchina per verificare che non abbia subito danni nel trasporto.
2) Estrarre la macchina dall'imballo facendo molta attenzione a non rovinare leve e cavi. Utilizzare
un apposito sollevatore della portata minima di 100 kg.
3) Montare la protezione frontale e quella laterale. (fig.1, n°16 e 17)
4) Montare il manubrio di guida come in fig.11, inserendo i passacavi dei fili nelle apposite asole, e
fissarlo nella posizione desiderata serrando le viti (fig.1, n°20).
2) 5) Verificare la pressione degli pneumatici, vedi tabella.

6) Riempire il serbatoio di carburante (fig.3, n°12) servendosi di un imbuto munito di filtro molto
fine.
7) Il controllo del livello dell'olio (fig.3, n°13) deve essere eseguito con la macchina orizzontale.

ISTRUZIONI D'USO
rima di avviare il motore controllare sempre:
- il livello dell'olio nel motore. Il tappo del livello è posto nella parte superiore del motore (fig.3,
n°13) : l'olio deve arrivare tra le due tacche.
- che tutte le viti e i dadi siano serrati correttamente.
- che entrambe le leve rosse siano alzate.
- che il filtro dell'aria (fig.3, n°15) sia ben pulito. Attenzione! Non soffiate la cartuccia con l'aria
compressa, se risulta molto intasata va sostituita.
- posizionare all'altezza desiderata il manubrio e stringere le apposite viti di bloccaggio (fig.1, n°20)
- riempire il serbatoio di carburante, servendosi di un imbuto munito di filtro molto fine. Il tappo del
serbatoio del carburante si trova sopra al motore (fig.3, n°12)
AVVIAMENTO DEL MOTORE A BENZINA
Se il motore è freddo, portare la leva dell'acceleratore nella posizione di starter (tutto avanti, fig.4).
Se il motore è caldo, posizionare a metà corsa la leva dell'acceleratore.
oi tirare con forza la manopola dell'avviamento autoavvolgente (fig.3, n°14)
Una volta avviato il motore disinserire lo starter portando indietro la leva dell'acceleratore. Lasciare
scaldare il motore per qualche minuto prima di iniziare il lavoro.
AVVIAMENTO DELLA MACCHINA
La leva di avanzamento è posta sul lato sinistro del manubrio.
ATTENZIONE: quando la le a rossa di sinistra (fig.2, n°5) è premuta la macchina inizierà ad
AVANZARE immediatamente. Abbandonando la presa della leva rossa (fig.2 n°5) la macchina
non sarà in trazione, ma il motore rimarrà acceso, la leva rossa dell'avanzamento ritornerà nella
posizione di “STO ”.
In caso di necessità è possibile frenare la macchina azionando la leva nera a sinistra (fig.2, n°7).
Attenzione: non è possibile azionare la le a dei freni contemporaneamente alla le a di
a anzamento. Se la frenata non è sufficientemente efficace è possibile agire sui registri: uno

presente in prossimità della leva che permette la regolazione del cavo principale (fig.5, n°8) e due
presenti a valle del duplicatore di cavi (fig.6, n°11), che permettono una registrazione più precisa
dei singoli freni.
er inserire il freno di stazionamento, tirare la leva dei freni e inserire ulteriormente la levetta
sottostante (fig.5, n°9).
7) REGOLAZIONE DEL MANUBRIO
er regolare l'altezza del manubrio allentare le apposite viti (fig.1, n°20), alzare o abbassare il
manubrio e in seguito stringere nuovamente le viti per bloccare la posizione.
INIZIO DEL LAVORO
Assicurarsi che non vi siano persone nei pressi della zona di taglio.
La leva per l'azionamento delle fruste è posta sul lato destro del manubrio. er azionare le fruste,
premere sul fermo di sicurezza grigio (fig.2, n°3) poi abbassare la leva rossa (fig.2, n°2).
ATTENZIONE: quando la le a rossa di destra (fig.2, n°2) è premuta le fruste sono azionate e
l'attrezzo si mette in rotazione.
IN CASO DI PERICOLO RILASCIARE IMMEDIATAMENTE LA LEVA ROSSA A DESTRA DEL
MANUBRIO (fig. 2, n°2), LE FRUSTE SI ARRESTERANNO IMMEDIATAMENTE.
FINE LAVORO
Terminato il lavoro arrestare il motore portando il manettino acceleratore (tutto indietro, fig.4) a fine
corsa nella posizione stop.
ATTENZIONE: se è necessario parcheggiare la macchina in pendenza inserire sempre il freno di
stazionamento (fig.2, n°9)
ATTENZIONE: non lasciare mai la macchina incustodita e/o alla portata di bambini o di persone
che non hanno letto il presente manuale o che non hanno ricevuto adeguate istruzioni per un uso
sicuro e appropriato della macchina.
SOSTITUZIONE FILO DELLE FRUSTE
Se il filo risulta usurato occorre sostituirlo (fig.1, n°18).
ATTENZIONE: non sostituire il filo con il motore in moto.
Il diametro di taglio è pari a 60 cm, controllare che la lunghezza dei fili sia corretta e che, durante la
rotazione delle fruste, i fili non urtino parti della macchina, danneggiandola. (fig.7)
REGOLAZIONE ALTEZZA DI TAGLIO
E' possibile regolare l'altezza di taglio inserendo i fili nei fori a diverse altezze (fig.8 , pos. A-B-C-
D). Nella posizione D il filo lavora radente al terreno. E' la posizione ideale per pulire i selciati da
erbe infestanti. Se il terreno è molto accidentato, inserire i fili nella posizione più alta. er
posizionare la piastra portafili nella posizione C e D, agire sulla vite (fig.7, n°24).
POSSIBILI INCONVENIENTI E LORO RIMEDI
Diamo qui di seguito un elenco dei piccoli inconvenienti che possono avvenire nell'uso del trimmer
e che possono essere rimediati direttamente dal cliente:
1) Il motore non parte (motore a benzina). Eseguire nell'ordine i seguenti controlli:
– che il serbatoio della benzina sia pieno almeno per metà (fig.3, n°12);
– che lo starter sia azionato (se il motore è freddo),(fig.4);
– che la benzina arrivi al carburatore;
– che il foro di sfiato sul tappo del serbatoio non sia otturato;
