Description:
The ECO G OW water filtration system is designed and engineered
to reduce/remove chlorine, and deliver clean contaminant-free water
for your garden. The 5 micron MaxPur™ sediment pre-filter protects
and extends the life of your GMW CleanGreen™ carbon block filter,
and increases its adsorption capacity. Having chlorine and
contaminant-free water is essential to growing healthy plants and
maintaining beneficial micro-organisms in your root zone and soils
overall. Chlorine-free water is also essential for organic fruits and
vegetables, hydroponics and any bio-organic gardening method in
general. Unlike reverse osmosis systems, GrowMax Water filtration
systems are eco-friendly, with no wasted water in the filtration process.

Before Installation/Precaution!
Do not install the system where the incoming water pressure may be more
than 90psi (6 k/cm2). If unsure, check the pressure with a pressure gauge,
available at your local hardware store. If your water pressure is more than
90psi (6 k/cm2), install a pressure regulator. Do not use with hot water.
How to install the ECO G OW unit:
1. Begin by connecting the garden spigot quick-connect to your garden
hose or garden spigot (8).
2. Take a length of 1/4" tubing (cut your desired amount) and push
one end into the garden spigot quick-connect (8), and the other end
into the inlet port of the filter system on the right side (4).
3. Push the desired length of tubing into the outlet port of the filter
system on the left side (5), then simply push the other end of the
tubing into the shut-off ball valve (9) and you are ready to water.
4. Optionally, use the indoor connector (10) to install to any 1/2” cold
water inlet.

How to Connect and Disconnect
Tubing to Quick Connect Fittings:
Push tube firmly into the fitting connector all the way to until the tube
stops. Try to pull the tube out to check the security. If the tube pulls out,
then push all the way in again. Make sure to cut the tubing straight for
best connections.
To disconnect the tubing. First make sure the system is de-pressurized
by turning off inlet water. Push in the "collet" that holds the tube into the
fitting connector. While pushing in the collet you can now simply pull out
the tubing.
eplacing Your Filters:
The MaxPur™5 micron sediment filter works as a pre-filter which
protects the CleanGreen™Carbon Block Filter, extending its life and
contaminant reduction capabilities.
The GMW CleanGreen™ carbon block filter is rated to produce
approximately 10,000 gallons (37,900 liters) of treated water. This is
based on a flow rate of 1 gallon per minute (3.79 liters per minute),
and a source-water of 1ppm (part per million) of chlorine.
Depending on the size of your garden and daily watering time, this filter
will generally last between six and twelve months. It is best to change out
both filters at the same time.

CAUTION! F EEZING!
Winterize your ECO G OW 240:
If you are keeping your ECO G OW outside, be certain to winterize the
unit before the outside temperature drops below freezing. Freezing water
expansion will cause your filter housings to crack and break, and this will
void your warranty.
To winterize your unit, turn off the water supply and remove the filter
housings and filters. Empty the water from the housings, and store in a
dry, protected place until you are ready to turn your systems back on in
the spring.
Limited Warranty:
A one-year warranty comes with each system and protects against
manufacturer defects on all components. The warranty does not include
obstructed filters due to lack of regular maintenance or due to excessive
sediment or chlorine in your water. The warranty also does not include
damage to the unit from use outside of normal grow and garden
installation parameters, or due to not winterizing your system.

vida del filtro de carbón en bloque GMW CleanGreen™, aumentando su
capacidad de absorción de contaminantes. Utilizar un agua libre de cloro
y contaminantes químicos es esencial para unas plantas saludables y para
proteger los microorganismos beneficiosos del sustrato, además de unas
raíces sanas. Agua libre de cloro es también esencial para el cu ltivo de
frutas y vegetales orgánicos y ecológicos, para la hidroponía y cualquier

Antes de la Instalación/Precaución!
o instalar el sistema con una presión de agua de entrada mayor a 90 psi
(6kg/cm2). Si no est á seguro de la presión, compruébela adquiriendo un
manómetro de presión en la ferretería. Si la presión es superior a 90 psi,
instalar un regulador de presión. o utilizar con agua caliente.
Como conectar el sistema ECO G OW:
1. Enroscar la conexión del grifo de jardín (8) a la manguera o al
grifo del jardín.
2. Cortar la longitud deseada de la tubería de 1/4” y conectarla a presión
al conector del grifo de jardín (8) y conectar el otro extremo de la
tubería a la entrada del equipo en el lado derecho (4).
3. Conectar la tubería restante a la conexión de salida del equipo
en el lado izquierdo (5), conectar la llave de paso (9) y ya estas
listo para regar.
4. Opcionalmente usar la conexión interior para instalar a cualquier
salida de agua fria (1/2”) de la casa.

Como conectar y desconectar la tubería en las
conexiones rápidas:
Presione la tubería en la conexión rápida hasta el fondo. Trate de sacar
la tubería estirándola para asegurar que está bien sujeta a la conexión.
Si la tubería se suelta, presiónela de nuevo hasta conseguir una
conexión segura.
Para desconectar la tubería. Cierre la llave en entrada de agua y vacíe
el agua del equipo para despresurizarlo. Presione el anillo que sujeta la
tubería y a la misma vez estire de la tubería para desconectarla.

El filtro de Carbón Bloque GMW Clean Green™ tiene una capacidad
de filtrado aproximada de 10,000 galones (13,800 litros). Este cálculo
está basado en un flujo de 1 galón por minuto (3,79 litros minuto) y un
agua con 1ppm (parte por millón) de cloro.
Según el tamaño del jardín y el tiempo de riego diario, se recomienda

¡Precaución! ¡Congelación!
Proteger su ECO G OW 240 en invierno:
Proteger el sistema cuando las temperaturas bajan de 32ºF (0ºC). Si el
agua se congela dentro de las carcasas azules, estas se agrietarán y
romperán, quedando fuera de garantía. Preparar el sistema en invierno:
cerrar el agua, sacar los filtros de dentro de las carcasas, vaciar el agua y
almacenar el sistema en un lugar seco y protegido, hasta su nuevo uso
cuando llega la primavera. Se recomienda cambiar los filtros cuando se
vuelva usar el sistema.
Garantía Limitada:
Un año de garantía contra defectos de fabricación en todos los
omponentes. La garantía no incluye filtros obstruidos por falta de
mantenimiento o por el exceso de cloro o sedimentos en su agua. La
garantía tampoco incluye daños causados por una mala instalación o por
su uso en otras aplicaciones que no estén relacionadas en jardinería o
hidroponía. Tampoco incluye daños causados por congelación de agua.
