About This Manual
This contains all the information you need to know about how to setup
and watch free view channels using your set top box.

What is DVB-T?
It works like traditional TV, but because the signals are digital you need a set
top box to convert them. This means more channels can be transmitted with
extra features such as interactivity and wide screen pictures.

1) STANDBY Used to switchthe set topbox to onor standby.

about the program when in smallEPG screen.

Installing the Batteries
Remove the batterycover from theremote control andput place 2 xAAAsize
batteries inside thecompartment. Make sureto match the+ and -of the batterieswith the
marks inside thebattery compartment

Using the RemoteControl
Touse the remotecontrol, point ittowards the frontof the digitalset top box.
The remote controlhas a rangeof up to7 metres fromthe set topbox at an
angle of upto 60 degrees.
The remote controlwill not operateif its pathis blocked.
Sunlight or very bright light will decrease the sensitivity of the
remote control.

Getting Started
Switching On forthe First Time
Ensure all connectionshave been madefollowing the diagramson the previous
pages for reference.
Toswitch on theset top box,press the button on theset top box.
(Toturn the settop box tostandby mode, press button onthe remote control).
Switch on theTV and select theAVprogramme channel(EXT,AV, External Source
or similar).Yourset top boxwill automatically scan.
Scan finished willdisplay for amoment on TV after allstations are foundand
automatically stored. Ifyou want toscan again, followthe procedure below:
Press MENU button on theremote control, theset top boxmain menu willdisplay.
Select the Channel Setting menu by usingthe arrow buttonson the
remote control.
Press the button when the Channel Setting menu is highlighted.
Press button again when Channel Search is highlighted.

Select the LCN option in the Channel Setting menu using the arrow buttons.

Change Pin Code
The Change PinCode menu allowsyou to changethe password,
which currently defaultsas 6666 .
Enter you newPIN code using thenumerical buttons onthe remote
control.
Press the button and enter the new PIN code again.
Press the button to confirm the new PIN code.
Please note thatyour new PINcode must contain4 digits.

The channel listis used tolook at allthe broadcastingTV or Radiochannels
received by theset top box. .
Toedit the channellist, press theMENU button and selectChannel Listusing
the arrow keys,press the buttonwhen it's highlighted.
Toaccess the channellist press the button in thenon-menu state
Toview a different channel, presseither the or button,
each channel selectedwill be previewedin the upperright hand box.
Toswitch betweenTV and Radiochannels, press theRED button.
Toview/listen to achannel, press the button.
ToLock&Unlock/Delete/Move a channel, press the button.
Tolock a channeland prevent peoplefrom watching it,highlight the
channel that youwant to lockby using either or button,
press the button,press the buttonwhen highlight Lock&Unlock
in the popup menu. Enterthe right PINcode in thefollowing PIN codeform,
the channel willbe locked, alock icon willbe displayed atthe back ofthe
channel name aftera successful lockoperation. If thePIN code is
entered incorrectly, the PinCode Error messagewill be displayedwhich
indicate the operationfailed. Unlock operationswork similar tothe
above lock operations.

4. FavouriteList

The favourite listis used tostore your frequentlywatched channels without
having to searchthem in theChannel List orEPG menus.
Toedit the favouritelist, press theMENU button andselect Favourite Listusing
the arrow keys,press the buttonwhen it's highlighted.
Adding a FavouriteChannel
First use theRED button toselect a favouritegroup, the choicesare News, Movie,
MTV,Finance, Other.Then pressthe button and button to enterthe
pop upAdd menu, selectthe channel youwant to addto the specificfavourite
group then pressthe button, theadded channel willbe displayed inthe left
hand column. Repeatthe same procedureuntil all yourdesired channels have
been added tothe specific favouritegroup.
Deleting a FavouriteChannel
First use theRED button toselect a favouritegroup. Select thechannel that you
want to deletein the favouritelist menu usingthe or button,
press the and button to enterthe pop upDelete menu, thenpress
the button toenter delete confirmationmenu, press the button to
delete the selectedchannel from thefavourite list andpress the EXITbutton to
cancel the delete.
Viewing aFavourite Channel
Toaccess the favouritelist quickly withoutedit, press theFAVOURITE button directly
in non-menu stateor other menus.
Tochange the favouritegroup, press theRED button.
