CABLE Use standard certified cables to prevent any malfunction of the
STB.
LOCATION 1. Do not place the STB close to heating units or in direct sunlight, as
this will impair cooling.
2. Always keep the STB indoors and do not expose the STB to a
sudden change in temperature
LIQUIDS 1. Do not expose the STB to any moisture.
2. Ensure that the STB is protected from dripping or splashing and no
objects filled with liquids, such as vases shall be placed on the
STB.
VENTILATION 1. Do not lay any objects such as magazines on the STB.
2. Do not place the STB on soft furnishings or carpets.
3. Do not block any ventilation openings.
CLEANING Clean only with a dry cloth.
Always disconnect the STB power cord from the wall socket before
cleaning it.
Never open the STB casing under any circumstances.
OVERLOADING Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords or adapters.
These can cause fire or electrical shock.
LIGHTNING 1. The Manufacture's instructions for safe guarding other
equipment connect to the STB, such as a television set,
must be followed during lightning conditions.
2. Ensure lightning protection devices for the terrestrial
antenna, and mains are installed.
