Introduction

This DVB-T TV Receiver allows you to access Free-to-Air Digital TV Channels and Radio
Broadcasts on your TV set. Its digital reception covers VHF & UHF band. Digital TV
eliminates noise and interference and offers high quality video and audio. It also can
support multi-format of BD and DVD disk play back.
An easy to use on-screen installation guide is provided. In addition, a fully featured Remote
Control is included that offers you access to every feature with a simple press of a button.

This High DefinitionDigital Set Top Box withIntegrated Blu-Ray Playerwill provide youwith high
definition, cinema-like picturesand multi-channel audio.
NOTES:
For recordable DVD & CD disks formats, only DVD-RW/-R & CD-R/-RW disks recorded with UDF or
ISO9660 format can be played via this unit. The disks must be finalised via VR-mode.
If your disk format type is not specified above then it may not work with this unit or perform specific
operations.
REGION CODE
If the region number of a Blu-Ray or DVD disk does not correspond to the region number of this unit the
disk will not be available for playback. The region code is printed on the rear panel of this unit.

CONNECTING THE BLU-RAY PLAYER TO YOUR TV SETVIA THE AVCONNECTION
Connect the unit'sL and Raudio output viathe composite cableprovided to thecorresponding audio
input on yourTV.
Then connect theunit's video outputvia the compositecable provided tothe corresponding video input
on your TV.
CONNECTING THE BLU-RAY PLAYER TO YOUR TV SETVIA THE HDMICONNECTION
Use a HDMIcable (not supplied)to connect yourunit to yourTV via theHDMI Output.
It will supports videoresolution up to1080p 60Hz.

Notes:
1. Connect the unit to your external sound system/amplifier via the coaxial output.
2. Make sure you set the digital amplifier to the AV input source.

1. Eject
Press this buttonto open/close thedisk tray.
2. SUBTITLE
Press the SubtitleButton to enable/disablesubtitle feature inboth
BD and SetTopBox mode. Pressto cycle throughthe language
options.
3. AUDIO
Press the AudioButton to selectthe available audiolanguages or
set the soundmode in bothBD and SetTopBox mode .
4. BDTitle/Menu
Press the BDTitle/Menuwhen in BDmode to enterthe movie main
menu. (Not availableon all disks).
5. Angle
Some BD andDVDs are filmedwith more thanone camera angle.
During playback ofsuch a disk,
pressing this buttonwill allow youto switch camera angles.
(Not available onall disks)
6. VOL (+/-)
Press the VOL+ Button toincrease the volumelevel and
press the VOL- Button todecrease the volumelevel.
7. STOP/TTX
Press the StopButton to stopplay in BD/DVDmode or pressthe
TTX Button inSet Top Box modeto enter the TeletextMenu.
8. EPG
Press the EPGButton in SetTopBox mode toenter the Electronic
Program Guide.
9. Navigation Keys
Use the NavigationKeys to scrollthrough the on-screenmenus,
channels and otheron-screen functions.

channel.
14. SMART
Press the SMART Button toopen the operationmenu.
15. Colour Keys
The Colour Keys(red, green, yellow, and blue)are used toimplement disk-specific featureson
some BD disksand to operatespecific functions inthe teletext menu.
16. Resolution
Press the Resolution Button tochange the resolutionsettings directly.
17. BD Subtitle
Press the BDSubtitle Button toenter subtitle functionin BD modeonly.

18. STANDBY
Press the StandbyButton to turn the unit onor off.
Note: After the powerhas been turned on, the unitwill take upto 16 secondsto run linux andinitialise
hardware, please bepatient. Please waitwhile the systemloads.
19. Numeric Keypad
The Numeric Buttonsare used toselect channel numbersor input information into the settingsmenu.
20. MUTE
Press the MuteButton to turn off the audiooutput only.Press the Mutebutton to turn it back on.
21. CLEAR
Press the ClearButton to clearany incorrect input informationin the menuor setting options.
22.SLOW
Press the SlowButton to slowdown the speedof play inBD mode. Pressrepeatedly to scrollthrough
the possible speeds(1/2, 1/4, 1/8,1/16, 1/32).
23. Step
Press the StepButton to playthe movie byone frame inBD mode.
24.Play
Press the PlayButton to start or resumeplayback in BD/DVDmode.
25. Pause
Press the Pause Button topause playback inBD/DVD mode.
26.Menu
Press the MenuButton to accessthe unit mainmenu.
27.Setup
Press the SetupButton to enterthe settings menu.
28.Fast Forward
Press the Fast Forward Buttonto scroll forwards throughplay in BD/DVDmode.
29.Rewind
Press the Rewind Button toscroll backwards throughplay in BD/DVDmode.
30.A-B
Press the A-BButton once tosave a "start point" forrepeating play inBD/DVD mode.
Press again toselect an "endpoint" of youwant repeated.
31.REPEAT
Press the Repeat Button tocycle through thepossible repeat modesbased on contentplayed.
32.BD View
Press the BDView Button toto turn the video portion of the director'scommentary (picture-in-a-picture)
on and off.
Note: Director's commentary musthave been turned on in theBD's main menuin
order for thisto work.
33.BD Audio
Press the BDAudio Button tocycle through allof the languagesavailable for thedirector's
Commentaries.

In the mainmenu mode, usethe LEFT andRIGHT Buttons toscroll through options.Then press the
ENTER Button toselect.
Playback on USBdevice
Toplay your USB,please insert your USB, the screen willdisplay USB CONNECTED.Then select the
USB icon andpress the ENTERButton to beginyour USB function.
USB function willsupport files such asJPEG,MP3,WMA,MPEG2,MPEG4,AVI,VOB,WAV,MKV,MITS andTS.
Press the SOURCE Button ifyou wish toreturn to the main menu orpress the STOPButton to returnto the
file list.

Playback
SMART Function
When playing disc,press the SMART Button toopen Smart Menu. Thiswill provide youwith quick
access to; MUTE,AUDIO, VIEWMODE, DISPLAY, VOLUME, ZOOM,ANGLE, SEARCH, DISCMENU and
TITLE. Use theLEFT and RIGHT Buttons to chooseone icon andpress the ENTERButton to start.
Time Function
Press the INFOButton to selecttime information.

Display Function
Press the INFOButton to viewthe current program or movie information.

Press the SOURCE button onthe remote controlto select theSetup or youcan press MENUbutton
then press RETURNbutton to selectthe Setup option.Then press theENTER button toselect. You
will be ableto amend theunit Settings foryour personal requirements,including on screenlanguage,
Subtitle language, Discmenu & Discaudio.
1. In theSetup Menu usethe Up/Down Buttonsto select thesettings category you wishto change.
2. Use theRight Button toskip to theselected setting.
3. Press ENTERto cycle througheach possible optionor display alist of theoptions.
When a listof options appears,press the Up/Downdirection buttons tomove among the
displayed options.
4. Press ENTERagain to choosethe option andchange the setting.
5. Use theLeft direction button toreturn back thecategory, andready to changesettings in a
different category.
6. Pressing theSetup button whilethe Setup Menuis displayed willturn off the Setup Menu.

Language setup
Language setup willchange the system'slanguage settings.
OSD Language
Use this itemto select thelanguage of thesetup menu andscreen display.
Subtitle Language
This option providesthe preset subtitlelanguage.
Menu
This option providesthe film's menulanguage options.
Disc Audio
Select the built-indisc dubbing languageoptions.

Audio setup
The Audio SetupMenu allows youto change theaudio Settings.
Dynamic Range
Select on oroff to controlDynamic Range.
Down sampling
Select down samplingfunction on oroff.
ON: System willdown sample ratefor high samplingrate audio(more than96K).
OFF: Disable thisfunction.
Digital output(Optional)
Adjust the audiooutput of theCoaxial ports/HDMI output to work in harmonywith your audio
equipment (e.g.receiver, amplifier) connectedto the player.
Off: Digital audio outputis disabled.
PCM: Transfer stereo2 channels signals
RAW: Transfer the DVD original audiotrack
Note: This item isonly for theplayer with coaxialoutput.
Video setup
The video SetupMenu allows youto change thevideo/picture Settings.
TV System
This feature allowsyou to changethe reception system.
For more informationof output format,refer to theinstructions or your TVset.
Note: The DVDplayer setting shouldbe matched toyour TV set.

Resolution
After you set thevideo output toHD output, youcan choose theresolution of theHDMI output.
Smart Picture
You canchange the Smart Picture to Standard, Brightor Soft to optimise the effect ofthe screen.
Subtitle Setup
This feature allowsyou to changethe font sizeitem to Big/Middle/small.
This feature allowsyou to changethe font colouritem to White/Red/Yellow/
Green/ Blue/Gray.
This feature allowsyou to changethe position itemto change fontposition to Buttonor Top.
TV Display
Here you canchange the aspectratio.
Notes:
The image displayratio is relatedto the recordeddisc format.
Some disc cannot display imagesin the aspectratio you choose.
If you playa disc recordedin 4:3 formaton a widescreen TV, black barswill appear onthe left and
right side ofthe screen.
You mustadjust the screensetting depending onthe type ofthe television youhave.

Slide Setup
Transition Mode
The TransitionMode allows youto change theStyle of SlideShow you wouldlike.
None / Slide/ Stripes/Fade /Wipe and Randommodes to laypicture to choosefrom.
Slide Interval Time
You canchoose the SlideInterval Time as 5Seconds / 10Seconds/30 Seconds /1 Minute
/5 Minutes.
Background music
You canselect On orOff to controlthe Slide Backgroundmusic.

Parental Control
The ParentalControl Menu allowsyou to lockcertain channels to protectchildren from inapproate
programs. To set apassword, you willhave to enterthe default password666666.
DVB-T Rating

In the SystemMenu you canset the Parental Guidance settingsto restrict accessto unsuitable
channels. To restrict/lock theselected channels youwill need toenter either thedefault password
or your ownpassword and thenfollow the prompts.
Rating Level
This feature letsyou lock certain Ratedprograms.
Changing the Password
In the SystemMenu you areable to setyour own password.Enter your oldpassword or thedefault
password to unlock thissetting. Then youwill then beasked to enteryour new password.
Toconfirm re-enter yournew password. Onceit is confirmed.
Network Setup
In Network Setup,select Auto Obtainand press ENTERto obtain theIP address. Ifsuccessful you
see successful onscreen or Connectionfailed if itfails.
Select Fix IPto manually inputyour IP Address.

Country Select
Confirm your country ofresidence. Use thenavigation buttons toselect your desiredcountry.
Time offset
The Time Offsetcan be setto auto ormanual. If setto auto theSet Top Box willautomatically change
day light savingstime etc.
Country Region
The Country Regionoption also youto set thestate time inwhich you live.Select the Country Region
option when TimeOffset is setto Auto.
Time Zone
You canalso change theTime Zone, thisis best usedwhen the TimeOffset is setto Manual.
Logical channel Number
In the ProgramMenu you canset the LCNto on oroff.
General setup
Screen Saver
You canturn of or off the unitScreen Saving inthis option.
Use Default Settings
This feature allowsyou to conducta unit factory reset.This will clear/deleteall unit settings&
channel lists. Ifyou have anyissues with thisunit, it isrecommended to doa factory reset tofix.
BD Info Storage
This option allowsyou to seethe BD infoStorage. Select thisoption to clearthe Blu-ray storage.
Version
Todisplay the current Software version.
Software Update
From time to time newsoftware maybe available for your digitalbox, which canbe
updated via theUSB port or by receiving the software viayour network.

The DVB-TMenu can giveyou access tothe basic settingfunction of your digital box. To view themenu,
press the MENU button on yourremote control, orpress the SMART button to select theChannel Setting
option to enterthe Menu mode.
Auto Scan
The Auto Scanoption allows youto conduct afull automatic searchfor all availablechannels.
All channels thatare found willbe stored inthe channels list.Please note thatwhen you conducta channel
search it willclear all presetchannels.
Manual Scan
Toconduct a ManualScan, input thechanel number andthen press theENTER Button toscan for thatchanel.
If there isa repeated programin the list,it will showNo new channelsfound.
