Sicherheitshinweise
Montage, Anschluss, Inbetriebnahme
und Reparatur dürfen nur von einer
Fachkraft durchgeführt werden. Diese
Fachkraft kann die geeignete Befesti-
gung und Abluftführung der Dunstab-
zugshaube bestimmen. Die Befestigung
muss für das Gewicht der Dunstabzugs-
haube und die Belastung des Unter-
grunds geeignet sein. Die Auszugswerte
der mitgelieferten Dübel beachten.
Diese haben in Abhängigkeit vom
Untergrund folgende Werte: Dübel Ø10
mm: Beton B25 9,4 kN Mauerziegel Z20
5,2 KN Kalksandvollstein KSV20 4,8
KN. Bei anderen unsicheren Untergrün-
den ist für die sichere Montage der
Dunstabzugshaube ein Fachmann für
Bauangelegenheiten, z.B. ein Statiker
oder Architekt, zu befragen.
Verletzungsgefahr!
Scharfe Kanten können sich fertigungs-
bedingt im Haubenkörper befinden.
Schutzhandschuhe sind bei der Monta-
ge zu tragen.
Gefahr durch elektrischen Schlag
Die Netzspannung muss mit den
Angaben auf dem Typenschild
übereinstimmen. Dieses befindet sich im
Bereich der Filter im Haubeninneren.
Die Dunstabzugshaube nur an eine
v o r s c h r i f t s m ä ß i g i n s t a l l i e r t e
Schutzkontaktsteckdose anschließen.
Die Steckdose muss nach der Montage
leicht erreichbar sein, um die
Dunstabzugshaube bei Bedarf von der
Netzspannung trennen zu können. Bei
Festanschluss (z.B. wenn eine
entsprechende Steckdose nicht
v o r h a n d e n i s t ) d a r f d i e
Dunstabzugshaube nur von einer
Elektrofachkraft an die Netzspannung
angeschlossen werden. Für den
F e s t a n s c h l u s s m u s s d i e
D u n s t a b z u g s h a u b e a n e i n e n
Einzelstromkreis mit Trennvorrichtung
a n g e s c h l o s s e n w e r d e n . A l s
Trennvorrichtung gelten Schalter mit
einer Kontaktöffnung von mindestens 3
mm und allpoligen Schaltern, z.B. LS-
Schalter und Schütze. Vor den Arbeiten
am elektrischen Anschluss der
Dunstabzugshaube den Netzstromkreis/
die Netzstromkreise abschalten. Vor
dem Bohren von Befestigungslöchern
prüfen, dass keine elektrischen
Leitungen durch das Bohren beschädigt
werden können. Der Elektroanschluss
muss so vorbereitet werden, dass die
Dunstabzugshaube damit einfach ange-
schlossen werden kann. Örtliche Be-
stimmungen müssen eingehalten wer-
den.
Abluftführung (für Abluftbetrieb)
Die Abluft darf nicht in einen Schorn-
stein geführt werden, der für Abgase
von Geräten mit Brennstoffen (z.B. Gas)
benutzt wird. Behördliche Vorschriften
für die Ableitung der Abluft sind zu
beachten. Der Abluftweg muss so
vorbereitet werden, dass die Dunstab-
zugshaube damit einfach verbunden
werden kann. Der Abluftschlauch muss
knickfrei verlegt sein. Wenn die Dunst-
abzugshaube im Abluftbetrieb gleichzei-
tig mit anderen raumluftabhängigen
Feuerstätten (z.B. holz-, gas-, öl- oder
kohlebefeuerte Geräte) in einem Raum
betrieben wird, können tödliche
Verbrennungsgase durch einen entste-
henden Unterdruck in den Raum zu-
rückgeführt werden. Der Bediener muss
deshalb jederzeit für eine ausreichende
Zuluft sorgen. Der Unterdruck im Raum
darf nicht größer als 4 Pa (0,04mbar)
sein. Bei B-Version max. Kanallänge von
4m nicht überschreiten.

Feuerstätte für feste Brennstoffe
Über einer Feuerstätte für feste Brenn-
stoffe, von der eine Brandgefahr (z.B.
Funkenflug) ausgehen kann, ist die
Montage der Dunstabzugshaube nur
dann zulässig, wenn die Feuerstätte
eine geschlossene, nicht abnehmbare
Abdeckung hat.
Mindestabstand zum Kochgerät
Die Vorschrift bei Gas sind 650mm. Um
Kondenssatbildung zu verhindern, muss
eine Rückstauklappe direkt am Luftaus-
tritt außen montiert werden. Die jeweils
gültigen Einbauvorschriften und die
E i n b a u h i n w e i s e d e r G a s -
Gerätehersteller beachten. Über Gas-
Kochstellen ist die Montage der Dunst-
abzugshaube bei einem Mindestabstand
von 650 mm nur zulässig, wenn folgen-
de Nennwärmebelastungen (Hs) nicht
überschritten werden:
Gas-Herde

Belastung aller Kochstellen max. 8,3 KW
Belastung des Backofens max. 3,9 KW
Gas-Kochmulden
Belastung einer Kochstelle max. 3,9 KW

leitungen dargestellten Bilder, Zeich-
nungen und Modelle können von dem
gelieferten Modell abweichen bzw.
können Optionen enthalten die nicht im
Lieferumfang enthalten sind.

1. bauseitige Voraussetzungen für die
Montage der Haube schaffen, Küchen-
geräte abdecken etc.
2. Geeignete Abluftführung in der De-
cke / Wand vorbereiten. Gebläseeinheit
montieren, siehe hierzu Gebläsehand-
buch).
3. Um eine optimale Abzugskapazität zu
erreichen, Position der Absaugeinheit
festlegen. Achse MMitte Kochfeld =
Achse MMitte Absaugeinheit ! ggf. ein
Lot zur Hilfe nehmen).
4. Die Befestigungslöcher der Absaug-
einheit anzeichnen. Befestigungsvarian-
te wählen. Befestigung gegen Küchen-
möbel oder gegen Decke wählen!
5. Vier Löcher (Ø10mm) bohren und
Dübel einsetzen.
Für Filterwechsel
muss frontblende
abnehmbar sein !

6. Den Anschlußstutzen der Absaugein-
heit mit dem Abluftkanal verbinden und
abdichten.
7. Absaugeinheit nun gegenüber Decke/
Schrankwand fixieren, dabei auf gleich-
mäßige Spaltmaße achten.
8. Steuerung im Sockelbereich (nähe
vom Glaspanel ) installieren. Darauf
achten das die Zugänglichkeit im War-
tungsfall gewährleistet ist !
9. Das Motorkabel zwischen Gebläse-
einheit und Steuerung installieren.
10. Die Ausfräsung für das Glaspanel in
der Arbeitsplatte erstellen, darauf ach-
ten dass die Entfernung zwischen Steu-
erung und Glaspanel weniger als 2m ist.

11. Das Glaspanel mittel Silicon einkle-
ben. Auf gleichmäßige Spaltmaße ach-
ten.

Entsorgung
Verpackung
Die Verpackung der Dunstabzugshaube
ist recycelbar. Als Verpackungsmateria-
lien werden Karton und Polyethylenfolie
(PE) verwendet. Diese Materialien sind
umweltgerecht und nach den jeweiligen
vor Ort geltenden Vorschriften zu ent-
sorgen.
Dunstabzugshaube
Über eine umweltgerechte Beseitigung
veralteter Haushaltsgeräte berät Sie
auch gerne Ihre Gemeinde.
Umwelthinweise
Alle Modelle aus dem Hause
GUTMANN sind entsprechend der euro-
päischen Richtlinie 2002/96/EG über
Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte (waste
electrical and electronic equipment –
WEEE) gekennzeichnet. Diese Richtli-
nie gibt die Rahmenbedingungen für
eine EU-weit gültige Rücknahme und
Verwertung von Altgeräten vor. Bitte
informieren Sie sich über aktuelle Ent-
sorgungswege bei Ihrem Fachhändler.

Important Information
General
These Installation instructions contain
important Information which must be
observed in order that the extractor
hood can be installed and operated with-
out risk or difficulties. Keep these Instal-
lation instructions in a safe place for
subsequent use. Follow the instructions
of the cooking appliance manufacturer
for Installation of extractor hoods. The
assistance of another person will facili-
tate Installation. Replace defective parts
with original spare parts or with parts
named by the manufacturer.
Note: If extractor hoods feature external
fan motors, the Installation of the fan
motor can be found in separate installa-
tion instructions.
Safety instructions
Dinger
Installation, connection, startup and re-
pairs may be carried out by technicians
only. Technicians can specify a suitable
attachment and exhaust air conduction
for the extractor hood. The attachment
must be suitable for the weight of the
extractor hood and for the load on the
wall. Observe the pullout values of the
supplied wall plugs. These have the
following values depending on the wall:
10 mm wall plugs:
Concrete B25 9.4 kN
Brick MZ20 5,2 kN
Solid calcium silicate brick KSV204.8 kN
If the wall is made of other uncertain
materials, consult a building specialist,
e.g. a structural engineer or an architect
to ensure t hat the extractor hood can be
installed securely.
Risk of injury
The hood structure may have sharp
edges caused by the manufacturing
process. Wear protective gloves during
installation.
Risk of electric shock
The mains voltage must correspond with
the specifications on the rating plate. The
rating plate is situated near the filters
inside the hood. Connect the extractor
hood to a correctly installed earthed
socket only. The socket must be easily
accessible following installation so that
the extractor hood can be isolated if re-
quired. If the extractor hood is to be per-
manently connected (e.g. if there is no
appropriate socket), it may be connected
to the mains by an electrician only. If the
extractor hood is to be permanently con-
nected, it must be connected to a single
electric circuit with disconnector.
Switches with a contact opening of at
least 3 mm and all-pole switches, e.g. LS
switches and contactors, are regarded as
disconnectors. Before connecting the
extractor hood to the power supply, dis-
connect the mains circuit(s). Before drill-
ing fixing holes, ensure that there are no
electric cables which could be damaged
by the drilling. When preparing the power
supply connection, ensure that the ex-
tractor hood can be connected without
difficulty.
Observe local regulations.
Exhaustair conduction for exhaust airmode
The exhaust air must not be conducted
into a chimney which is used to remove
exhaust gases from appliances which
use fuel (e.g. gas). Observe the official
regulations for the removal of exhaust
air. When preparing the exhaust air
route, ensure that the extractor hood can
be connected without difficulty. The ex-
haust air hose must not be kinked.
Solid fuel fireplaces
The extractor hood must not be installed
above a solid fuel fireplace which is a fire
hazard (e.g. flying sparks) unless the fire
-place has a sealed, non-removable
cover.

cooking appliance.
Minimum distance between the lower
edge of the extractor hood and hot-
plates/ hobs is min. 650 mm.
Minimum distance from a gas cook-
ing appliance
Minimum distance between the lower
edge of the extractor hood and hot-
plates/ hobs is. min. 750 mm. If the
manufacturer of the gas cooking appli-
ance specifies a greater distance, this
must be taken into consideration.
Gas cookers
Comply with the currently valid installa-
tion regulations and instructions of the
gas applanier manufacturers. The ex-
tractor hood may only be installed over
gas hobs at a minimum distance of 750
mm provided the following nominal ther-
mal loads (Hs) are not exceeded:

Load of all hotplates max. 8.3 kW
Load of the oven max. 3.9 kW

1. Make the necessary preparations
for installation of the hood on site -
cover kitchen appliances, etc.
2. Prepare suitable on-site exhaust
air facilities in the ceiling / wall. In-
stall the fan unit, please refer to the
fan manual).
3. Determine the position of the ex-
traction unit to achieve optimum
extraction capacity. Axis M middle
of the hob = axis Mmiddle of the
extraction unit! Use a plumb line for
help if necessary).
4. Mark the extraction unit fastening
holes. Choose a fastening variant.
Choose either fastening against
kitchen cabinets or against the ceil-
ing!
5. Drill four holes (Ø 10 mm) and
insert wall plugs.

6. Connect the connection piece of
the extraction unit to the exhaust air
duct and seal it.
7. Now fix the extraction unit to the
ceiling / wall of the cabinet; make
sure that the gaps around it are
even.
8. Install the controller in the base
(close to the glass panel). Ensure
that it is accessible in the event of
maintenance work.
9. Install the motor cable between
the fan unit and the controller.
10. Create the recess for the glass
panel in the work top; ensure that
the distance between the controller
and the glass panel is less than 2
m. Install the control cable between
the glass panel and the controller
(drawing of glass panel, see page
25).
11. Use silicone to fix the glass
panel in place; make sure that the
gaps around it are even.
12. Carry out a functional test!
