ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Warning:
The apparatus should be used by only one person at a time, supervised by a qualified individual and with appropriate
landing mats or a landing pit.
Using this equipment for purposes other than those originally intended is not allowed.
Compliance:
This equipment complies with the requirements of the European standard EN 358 « Personal Protective Equipment ».
Recommendations:
As shown in French Standard NF S52-400 the following is recommended:
-keep these instructions for subsequent reference (inspection, maintenance, etc.).
-periodically carry out predictive maintenance.
- depending on how much it is used have the equipment serviced yearly or every few years.

I. Belt adjustment

Position the belt on oneself. Center the backrest (1): check which N°(from 1 to 6) is positionned on the iliac crest
(located on the sides, where your arms falling freely: see the black arrows).

II. Maintenance:
1/ A regular cleaning of the assembly allows better viewing of the problems, if any (distortion, breakage, or corrosion).
2/ Before use, check wear parts and safety elements each time for good condition and operation:
-complete trunnions (5),
-safety buckles (6) & crotch (4) straps buckles, the entire straps (3 & 4), the backrest (1),and all the seams.
3/ Important:
- The replacement of this belt is strongly advised after 5 years service life and/or storage.
-If a problem is detected or suspected, do not use the equipment as long as it has not been checked by a
technician.
-Any damaged or distorted piece should be replaced as soon as possible.
III. Stockage:
Always store the equipment away from humidity and heat.
Remove the belt. Match the concave part of the
trunnion (5) with the number finded step 1.
Using the safety buckle (6) slide the strap so that the
concave part of the other trunnion (5) match the same
number as step 2.
It is possible, depending on the settings, that the
safety buckle (6) slide under or will be located
under belt loops.

Use protective pad (2) for large body tipes: it protects against the contact
of the safety buckle (6).
Optionnal protective pad (2)
for small body tipes.
Attach & tighten crotch straps (4).
Tighten firmly the belt strap (3).
