Please read the following instructions carefully before using the appliance and keep for future
reference.

HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less
than 8 years.
General safety Instructions
l Please read the operating instructions carefully before
using the appliance.
l Please keep these instructions, the guarantee slip. The
receipt and if possible the box with inner packaging in a
safe place!
l This appliance is intended exclusively for private and not
for commercial use.
l Always remove the plug from the socket when the
appliance is not in use or when you are attaching
accessories, cleaning it or in the event of a malfunction.
Switch off the appliance. Do no pull the cable, pull the
plug.
l This device is not intended for use by persons with

reduced capacity on the physical, mental or sensory or
lack of experience and knowledge (including children),
unless they have had instructions to use the appliance by
a person responsible for their safety use of the appliance
and understand the hazards involved. Children should
be supervised to ensure they do not play with the device.
l Keep children away from the appliance to keep them safe

hang down.

l The outer surface may get hot when the appliance is
operating.

l The bread may burn, therefore do not use the toaster
near or below combustible material, such as curtains.
l This appliance is not intended to be operated by means
of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
l After you finish using this product, please recycle the

Special Safety Instructions for this appliance
l Only use the appliance if supervised (very dry bread may
catch fire if toasted).
l The metal parts heat up! Danger of burns!
l Do not insert any forks, knives or such like in the toasting
slot.
l Do not place the appliance anywhere near inflammable
objects (e.g. curtains, wood, etc.)!

OPERATION
1. Only connect the appliance to a correctly installed safety plug (220-240V 50-
60Hz).
2. Turn the selector switch clockwise to set the toasting level from
the lightest stage 1 to the darkest stage 6 (from left-”small dot”
to right-”big dot”). If in any doubt, start with the lower setting
(the black mark on the selector switch shows you the setting). Insert sliced bread
into the toasting slot and push down the lever until it locks.
3. The appliance starts toasting. The appliance switches off immediately once the
set degree of toasting has been reached. The toast then pops up automatically.
4. The appliance has heat-insulated casing. However, as metal parts still heat up
during operation, please allow cooling down before you put it away.
5. The toaster only allowed 2 slices of the toaster to be toasted at a time.
6. The grill is only allowed to adjust to the minimum toast.
7. Ensure all bread residual need to remove before use.
8. Defrost function: To toast a frozen bread, place the bread
into the bread slots and select the desired browning setting. Press
the carriage control lever down until it clicks into place then press
the defrost button.
9. Reheat function: The toaster allows you to reheat toast without
additional toasting. To reheat, place toast into bread slots, lower the
carriage control lever until it clicks into place and press the reheat
button.
10. Bagel function: The toasting mode is for bagels. Insert a bagel into the slot
(inside of bagel face to the glass side, see picture as below) and lower the push
knob. Press BAGEL button and the indicator light will be on. After the working
finished, the bagel will pop up automatically.

11. High lift function: Lift up the lever handle after toast working finished can move
the bread upper for easy pickup. (see below picture)
12. Remove the glass by press the locker and pull it out in slowly. See below
picture. To install the glass by push it into its slot.
CLEANING
l Before cleaning, remove the plug from the socket and
allow the appliance to cool down.
l Use a moderately damp cloth to clean the outside of the
appliance.
l Hold the inner window glass handle and pull it out, then
clean it by moderately damp cloth.
l Do not use any aggressive or scrubbing detergents.
l Grasp the crumb shaft by the loop and pull it out, remove
the bread residue and push the shaft back in.

product into communities, you will need to inform your local authorities about the places where you can

l N'utilisez que des pièces de rechange d'origine.

l Ne plongez jamais l'appareil dans l'eau ou tout autre
liquide. Ne laissez pas l'appareil entrer en contact avec
de l'eau ou d'autres liquides. N'utilisez pas l'appareil
avec les mains mouillées.
l Retirez la fiche de la prise immédiatement si elle est
humide ou mouillée. Ne touchez pas l'eau !

l N'utilisez l'appareil que dans le but pour lequel il a été
conçu.
l La surface de l’appareil peut devenir chaude lorsqu’il
fonctionne.
l Le pain peut brûler. Par conséquent, n'utilisez pas le
grille-pain à proximité ou en dessous de matériaux
inflammables tels que des rideaux.
l L'appareil n'est pas conçu pour fonctionner avec un
minuteur externe ou bien un système à télécommande.
l Après avoir fini d'utiliser ce produit, veuillez le porter à
une déchetterie conformément aux réglementations

l N'utilisez l'appareil que sous surveillance (du pain très
sec peut s'enflammer s'il est grillé).
l Les pièces métalliques chauffent ! Risque de brûlures !
l N'insérez pas de fourchettes, de couteaux ou autres
ustensiles dans la fente.
l Ne placez pas l'appareil à proximité d'objets
inflammables (rideaux, bois, etc.) !

FONCTIONNEMENT
1. Ne branchez l'appareil que sur une prise murale correctement installée (220-240V
50-60Hz).
2. Tournez le sélecteur dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre pour régler le niveau
de grillage du niveau 1 le plus clair au niveau 6 le plus sombre (du petit point
gauche au gros point droit). En cas de doute, commencez par le réglage le plus
bas (la marque noire sur le sélecteur vous indique le réglage). Insérez le pain en
tranche dans la fente et appuyez sur le levier de commande jusqu'à ce qu'il se
verrouille.
3. L'appareil commence à griller. Il s'éteint immédiatement dès que le degré de
grillage défini est atteint. Le pain grillé apparaît alors automatiquement.
4. L'appareil a un boîtier calorifugé. Cependant, comme les pièces métalliques
chauffent pendant le fonctionnement, veuillez les laisser refroidir avant de ranger
l’appareil.
5. Le grille-pain est conçu pour griller 2 tranches à la fois.
6. L’appareil s’adapte à la taille minimum des toasts.
7. Assurez-vous que toutes les miettes de pain soient retirées du plateau avant toute
utilisation.
8. Fonction de dégivrage : pour griller un pain congelé, placez-le dans la fente et
sélectionnez le degré de brunissage souhaité. Appuyez sur le levier de commande
jusqu'à ce qu'il s'enclenche, puis appuyez sur la touche de dégivrage.
9. Fonction de réchauffage : le grille-pain vous permet de réchauffer des toasts sans
grillage supplémentaire. Pour cela, placez le pain grillé dans la fente, abaissez le
levier de commande jusqu'à ce qu'il s'enclenche et appuyez sur la touche de
réchauffage.
10. Fonction Bagel : le mode de grillage est conçu pour les bagels. Insérez un bagel
dans la fente comme indiqué sur la photo et abaissez le levier. Appuyez sur la
touche BAGEL et le témoin lumineux s’allumera. Une fois le grillage terminé, le
bagel apparaîtra automatiquement.

11. Fonction de levage : Soulevez le levier de commande une fois le grillage du
pain terminé pour faciliter le ramassage. (voir l'image ci-dessous)
12. Retirez le hublot en appuyant sur le verrou et tirez-le doucement (voir l’image
ci-dessous). Pour l’installer, poussez-le dans sa fente.
NETTOYAGE
l Avant de nettoyer, retirez la fiche de la prise et laissez
l'appareil refroidir.
l Utilisez un chiffon légèrement humide pour nettoyer la
surface de l'appareil.
l Tirez sur la poignée interne du hublot pour le retirer, puis
nettoyez-le avec un chiffon légèrement humide.
l N'utilisez pas de détergents agressifs ou pour récurer.
l Saisissez le plateau ramasse-miettes par la boucle et
retirez-le. Enlevez les miettes de pain et repoussez le
plateau dans le grille-pain.
ENVIRONNEMENT
ATTENTION :
Vous ne devez pas vous débarrasser de cet appareil avec vos déchets ménagers. Un système de collecte
sélective pour ce type de produit est mis en place par les communes, vous devez vous renseigner auprès
de votre mairie afin d'en connaître les emplacements. En effet, les produits électriques et électroniques
peuvent contenir des substances dangereuses qui ont des effets néfastes sur l'environnement ou la santé
humaine et doivent être recyclés. Le symbole ci-contre indique que les équipements électriques et

Spezielle Sicherheitsanweisungen für dieses Gerät
l Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur unter Aufsicht (ein sehr
trockenes Brot kann beim Toasten Feuer fangen)
l Die Metallteile werden heiß! Es besteht
Verbrennungsgefahr!
l Benutzen Sie keine Gabel, Messer oder ähnliches in den
Toastschlitzen.
l Platzieren Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von
entflammbaren Gegenständen (z.B. Vorhängen, Holz,
usw.)

BEDIENUNG
1. Verbinden Sie das Gerät nur mit einem korrekt installierten Schutzkontaktstecker
(220-240V 50-60Hz).
2. Drehen Sie den Wählschalter rechtsläufig, um die Bräunungsstufe, von der
hellsten Stufe 1 bis zur dunkelsten Stufe 6 einzustellen (von links- “kleinen Punkt”
nach rechts- “großer Punkt”). Wenn Sie unsicher sind, fangen Sie mit der
niedrigsten Einstellung an (die schwarze Markierung auf dem Wählschalter, die
Ihre Einstellung anzeigt). Platzieren Sie das Brot in den Toastschlitzen und drücken
Sie den Hebel herunter bis dieser einrastet.
3. Das Gerät fängt an zu toasten. Das Gerät geht sofort aus, wenn die eingestellte
Bräunungsstufe erreicht worden ist. Das Toast springt automatisch heraus.
4. Das Gerät verfügt über ein wärmedämmendes Gehäuse. Allerdings, da die
Metallteile während der Nutzung immer noch heiß werden, lassen Sie bitte das
Gerät abkühlen, bevor Sie dieses wegräumen.
5. In diesem Toaster können nur 2 Scheiben Brot gleichzeitig getoastet werden.
6. Der Grill darf nur an das minimale Toasten angepasst werden.
7. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Brotrückstände vor der Nutzung entfernt werden.
8. Defrost-Funktion: Um ein tiefgefrorenes Brot zu toasten, platzieren Sie das Brot in
den Toastschlitzen und wählen Sie die gewünschte Bräunungseinstellung.
Drücken Sie den Hebel herunter, bis dieser einrastet, dann drücken Sie auf die
Defrost-Taste.
9. Reheat-Funktion: Der Toaster erlaubt Ihnen, das Brot ohne zusätzliches Toasten
aufzuwärmen. Zum Aufwärmen, platzieren Sie das Toast in den Toastschlitzen,
drücken Sie den Hebel herunter, bis dieser einrastet, und drücken Sie auf die
Reheat-Taste.
10. Bagel-Funktion: Dieser Toast-Modus ist für Bagels. Setzen Sie einen Bagel in
die Schlitze ein (mit der Innenseite zum Glas, wie auf dem Bild unten angezeigt
ist) und drücken Sie den Hebel herunter. Drücken Sie auf die BAGEL-Taste und
die Anzeige wird angehen. Nachdem der Vorgang abgeschlossen ist wird der
Bagel automatisch herausspringen.

11. High-lift-Funktion: Heben Sie den Hebelsgriff, nachdem der Toastvorgang
abgeschlossen ist, damit das Brot höher kommt und Sie es leicht entnehmen
können (siehe das untere Bild).
12. Entfernen Sie das Glas, indem Sie auf den Verschluss drücken und es langsam
herausziehen. Siehe das Bild unten. Um das Glas zu montieren, setzen Sie dieses
wieder in die Schlitze ein.
REINIGUNG
l Vor der Reinigung, entfernen Sie bitte den Stecker aus
der Steckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen.
l Benutzen Sie ein mäßig feuchtes Tuch, um die
Außenfläche des Gerätes zu reinigen.
l Halten Sie den Innenfenster-Glassgriff fest und ziehen
Sie diesen heraus, danach reinigen Sie ihn mit einem
mäßig feuchten Tuch.
l Benutzen Sie keine groben oder scheuernden
Reinigungsmittel.
l Halten Sie die Krümmelschublade an der Schleife und
ziehen Sie diese heraus, entfernen Sie die Brotreste und
setzen Sie diese wieder ein.
