Mounting the router in a rack 安装路由器到机柜
Attach cage nuts and rear mounting brackets to the rack. 安装浮动螺母及后挂耳。
Determine and mark the cage nut installation positions on the rack for attaching the front
mounting brackets.确定前挂耳浮动螺母安装孔位，用记号笔标记。
Wear an ESD wrist strap, and make sure it makes good skin contact and is reliably
grounded.操作者需佩戴防静电腕带，确保防静电腕带与皮肤良好接触，并确认防静
电腕带已经良好接地。

Install the router in the rack.安装路由器到机柜。
Attach the front mounting brackets and the load-bearing screws to the router.
在路由器两侧安装前挂耳和后挂耳承重螺钉。
Connecting the grounding cable 连接保护地线
Correctly connecting the grounding cable is crucial to lightning protection and EMI
protection.路由器地线的正确连接是路由器防雷、防干扰的重要保障，请使用设备随机
提供的保护地线正确接地。

When you mount the router on a workbench, use the grounding screw to secure the ring
terminal end of the grounding cable to the router. Connect the other end of the grounding
cable to the grounding equipment of the building. If the installation site does not have any
grounding equipment, but earth ground is available, hammer an angle iron or steel tube into
the earth ground to act as a grounding conductor.
路由器安装在工作台时，应将接地线一端与路由器相连，并使用随设备提供的接地螺钉固定，
另一端与楼宇接地装置相连。如果安装环境中不具备专用的接地线连接装置，也可以采用埋设
接地体的方式将设备妥善接地。
To mount the router in a rack, make sure the rack is reliably grounded. To ground the router
in a rack, connect the grounding cable of the building to the grounding strip on the rack, and
then use the grounding cable of the router to connect the router to the grounding strip on the
rack.路由器安装在机柜时，要求机柜已经良好接地，首先需将楼宇保护地线与机柜接地排相
连，然后使用接地线将路由器与机柜接地排相连。

Installing MPUs 安装主控板
Insert the MPU into the slot and fasten the captive screws on the MPU.
将主控板插入到设备中，右旋拧紧松不脱螺钉。
Installing interface cards 安装接口模块
SICs are not hot swappable.SIC接口模块不支持热插拔。
Install an HMIM.HMIMs are hot swappable. 安装HMIM接口模块，支持热插拔。

Connecting the power cord 连接电源线
Make sure the router is reliably grounded before you connect the power cord.
在连接电源线前，需保证设备已正确接地。
When you connect the power cord, make sure the power switch on the power module
is off. Connect the power cord to the router first and then to the power supply system
in the equipment room.
在连接电源线时，请确认路由器电源开关处于关闭状态，先完成电源线与路由器侧的连
接，再进行电源线与机房供电系统的连接，以免造成人身伤害。

To install a power module:
1. Remove the filler panel from the power module slot.
2. Insert the AC/DC power module in the slot.
3. Fasten the captive screw on the power module.
拆卸电源槽位假面板，插入AC/DC电源模块，旋紧固定螺钉。

Connect the AC power cord
连接交流电源线
To connect the power cord:
1. Connect one end of the power cord to the router and use the bail latch or a removable
cable tie to secure the power cord plug in position.
2. Connect the other end to the power source.
When you mount the switch on a workbench, arrange the power cord neatly and keep it
away from high-temperature, wet, or sharp objects.
路由器安装在开放的工作台时，应将电源线摆放整齐，避免与高温、潮湿或尖锐的物品触碰。
电源线的两端应分别与路由器和供电设备紧密相连，并使用卡勾或可拆卸式扎带固定，避免因
人员走动或触碰，勿将电源线松脱的情况发生。
