Connecting the grounding cable
Correctly connecting the grounding cable is crucial to lightning protection and EMI
protection. To guarantee the grounding effect, use the grounding cable provided with
the router for grounding. 设备地线的正确连接是设备防雷、防干扰的重要保障，请使用
设备随机提供的保护地线正确接地。
To ground the router when mounted in a rack:
1. Connect the building grounding facility to the grounding strip on the rack. Make sure the
rack is reliably grounded.
2. Use the grounding cable provided with the router to connect the router to the grounding
strip on the rack.
设备安装在机柜时，要求机柜已经良好接地，首先需将楼宇接地保护装置与机柜接地排相连，
然后使用接地线将设备与机柜接地排相连。

You can rack-mount the router by using mounting brackets and a rack shelf or
mounting brackets and slide rails. Choose the rack mounting method as required.
This section describes how to rack-mount the router by using mounting brackets and

compatible carrier in the MPU slot.
The router supports dual MPUs. Do not hot swap the MPU when only one MPU is
installed on the router.

设备支持双主控，配置单主控时，不允许热插拔主控板。

Installing power modules
The router supports the PSR1200-A and PSR1200-D power modules. 设备支持型号
PSR1200-A、PSR1200-D的电源模块。
Install a minimum of one power module for the router. To ensure good ventilation and
prevent dust from entering the chassis, install a filler panel in each unused power
module slot. 为保证设备的正常运行，请至少安装一块电源模块，没有安装电源模块的
槽位，请及时安装假面板，以保证设备的良好通风散热并防止灰尘进入设备。

Connecting power cords
Before connecting a power cord, make sure the router is reliably grounded.
在连接电源线前，需保证设备已正确接地。
To avoid bodily injury, connect the power cord first to the router and then to the power
source. 在连接电源线时，先完成电源线与设备侧的连接，再进行电源线与机房
供电系统的连接，以免造成人身伤害。
