Kurzanleitung.
Safe schließen
1. Gegenstand in den Safe legen und Safe Tür schließen
2. Geben Sie eine beliebige 4-stellige Geheimzahl ein und bestätigen Sie
diese mit der Taste:
3. Danach schließt sich der Safe. Ist der Schließvorgang beendet, zeigt
das Display LOCKED an und die Geheimzahl erscheint 4 Sekunden
lang. Merken Sie sich Ihre Geheimzahl.
Safe öffnen
1. Geben Sie Ihre 4-stellige Geheimzahl ein.
2. Danach öffnet sich die Schließmechanik. Auf dem Display erscheint
OPEN.
3. Wurde eine falsche Geheimzahl eingegeben, erscheint auf dem Display
ERROR. Sie haben jetzt vier weitere Versuche um den Safe zu öffnen.
Drücken Sie die Taste
und geben Ihre Geheimzahl erneut ein. Nach fünf Fehlversuchen, können
Sie für 30 Minuten keine Eingaben mehr tätigen. Das System ist
anschließend wieder im Normalmodus und erlaubt weitere fünf Eingaben.
Batteriewechsel
Bei schwachen Batterien zeigt das Display lowBat an und Sie können
keine Eingabe zum Verschließen vornehmen.
Der reibungslose Betrieb des Safes ist nur gewährleistet, wenn schwache
Batterien sofort ersetzt werden.
1. Mit einem Kreuzschlitz-Schraubendreher das Batteriefach auf der
Innenseite der Safetür öffnen.
2. Vier neue Mignon-1,5-V-Batterien einsetzen (Artikel-Nr. 910.54.980).
Auf richtige Polung achten!
3. Batteriefach wieder verschrauben.
Notöffnung
Batterien sind leer:
1. Das beiliegende Notstrom-Pack auf der Unterseite des Bedienfeldes
anschließen.
2. 4-stellige Geheimzahl eingeben.
3. Schließmechanik öffnet und auf dem Display erscheint OPEN.
4-stellige Geheimzahl vergessen:
1. Drücken Sie die Taste
2. 6-stelligen Sicherheitscode eingeben; auf dem Display erscheint OPEN.
3. Die Safeelektronik ist jetzt wieder im Auslieferungszustand. Zum erneu-
ten Verschließen wie unter „Inbetriebnahme“ beschrieben vorgehen.
Öffnet sich der Safe nicht, setzen Sie sich mit Ihrem Servicepartner oder
Fachhändler in Verbindung.

Montageanleitung
Der Safe ist für den Einbau in Möbel vorgesehen. Ein Abstand von ca.
1,2 m über dem Boden ermöglicht eine einfache Bedienung.
Zum „sicheren“ Einbau des Safes in Möbel sind im Boden und in der
Rückwand Bohrungen vorgesehen. Wahlweise können Sie den Safe ver-
leimen oder verschrauben, um ihn zu befestigen.
Zur Verschraubung mit der Schrankrückseite:
Zwei Schrauben vom Safeinnern durch die 10-mm-Bohrungen in der
Saferückwand führen und Safe mit dem Schrank verschrauben.
Zur Verschraubung mit der Bodenplatte:
Vier Schrauben vom Safeinnern durch die 8-mm-Bohrungen im Safe-
boden führen und Safe mit der Bodenplatte verschrauben.
Inbetriebnahme
Vor Inbetriebnahme Batterien einlegen (4 x Type AA). Beachten Sie beim
Einlegen der Batterie die angezeichnete Polung.
Bei der Erstinbetriebnahme muss zunächst ein 6-stelliger Sicherheitscode
eingegeben werden. Drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste zur Aktivierung der
Elektronik. Nach einigen Sekunden erscheint auf dem Display CODE.
Sobald ein blinkendes Eingabefeld erscheint geben Sie Ihren persönlichen
6-stelligen Sicherheitscode ein (frei wählbar). Zur Bestätigung geben Sie
diesen 6-stelligen Sicherheitscode noch ein zweites Mal ein.
Notieren Sie sich bitte diesen Code jetzt:
Jetzt ist der Safe betriebsbereit.

Instructions for installation
The safe is designed for installation in furniture. An installation height of
approx. 1.2 metres above floor level permits most convenient operation.
Holes are provided in the base and rear wall for safe installation of the
safe in furniture. The safe can be screwed into position or bonded with
adhesive as required.
To bolt the safe to the rear wall of a cupboard:
push two bolts from the inside of the safe through the 10 mm holes in the
rear wall and bolt it to the cupboard.
To bolt the safe to the base board:
push four bolts from the inside of the safe through the 8 mm holes in the
safe base, and bolt the safe to the base board.
First use
Before using the safe, insert the batteries (4 x type AA). Ensure that the
batteries are connected correctly as shown.
Before using the safe for the first time, the six-figure security code must
be stored in its memory. Press any button to start the electronical system.
After a few seconds the word CODE appears in the display. As soon as a
flashing input field appears, enter the six-figure security code (freely sel-
ectable) now. For confirmation enter the security code a second time.
Please note down this code now:
The safe is now ready for use.

Short instructions for use
Closing the safe
1. Place an object in the safe and close the safe door.
2. Enter any four-figure number as secret code and confirm this by
pressing the button:
3. The safe then closes. When the safe is fully closed, the word LOCKED
appears in the display and the code number appears for 4 seconds.
Memorise your code number.
Opening the safe
1. Enter your four-figure code number.
2. The door opens immediately. The word OPEN appears in the display.
3. If the wrong code number is entered, the word ERROR appears in the
display. Another four attempts to open the safe are now possible.
Press the button
and enter your code number again. After five unsuccessful attempts, no
further numbers can be entered for a period of 30 minutes. After these 30
minutes, the system is again in normal mode and a further five attempts
to open the safe may be made
Battery change
When the batteries no longer possess sufficient power, the display indica-
tes lowBat and no further entries are possible. The safe can only be ope-
rated correctly when weak batteries are replaced immediately.
1. Using a crosstip screwdriver, open the battery compartment on the
inside of the safe door.
2. Insert four fresh Mignon 1.5 V batteries (art. no. 910.54.980).
Ensure that the batteries are inserted correctly as shown!
3. Re-close the battery compartment and screw it into position.
Emergency opening
Batteries are empty:
1. Connect the emergency power set to the underside of the operation
panel.
2. Enter your four-figure PIN code.
3. The door opens immediately and the word OPEN appears in the
display.
Forgotten the four-figure PIN code:
1. Press the button
2. Enter six-figure project code: The word OPEN appears in the display.
3. The safe is in a reset state again. For closing the safe follow first use
instructions.
If the safe does not open, contact your local dealer or service agent.
