correct operation and some general security measures. This information alerts you to potential hazards

and has important safety messages that help you and others avoid personal injury or death. WARNING and

VANOS450 –230 V / 50 Hz Electric wire hoist with a remote control
This is a powerful lifting and pulling tool which is widely used in mechanical, building, automobile, agriculture
and other fields. Equipped with speed switches and current overload protection function. Powered by AC power
source, this compact tool has a pulling capacity of 450 kg.
There are two kinds of operation mode:
1. Manual mode —Touch the switch by manual button, apply for pulling.
2. Remote control mode —Operated by remote control, apply for narrow and high position.

VANOS450A –Battery-powered electric wire hoist
This is a powerful lifting and pulling tool which is widely used in mechanical, building, automobile, agriculture
and other fields. Equipped with speed switches and current overload protection function. Powered by 24 V DC
power source (battery), this compact tool has a pulling capacity of 450 kg.
There are two kinds of operation mode of speed switch:

these rules can make an operator aware of dangerous practices to avoid and precautions to take for his own
safety and the safety of others. Frequent examinations and periodic inspections of the equipment as well as
conscientious observance of safety rules may avoid safety accidents.

General Safety:
• Always know your product: Take time to fully read and understand the Operator’s guide in order to
understand your product and its operation.
• Never operate this product when under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.

Installation Safety:
• Always choose a support structure and load attaching devices that are sufficiently strong to withstand the
maximum pulling capacity of your product.
• Always use factory approved switches, components, accessories, and replacement parts.
• Always spool the wire rope onto the drum with the rope coming off the top in line with the fairlead opening.

Operation Safety:
• Never operate continuous a longer period with full load, or otherwise the product may be damaged or the
product life cycle reduced.
• Always inspect if the remote control works normally before use - after use put the remote control in a clean
and dry environment.
• Always inspect the rope, hooks and slings before operating with the product. Damaged components and
riggings must be replaced immediately. Protect all parts from damage.
• Never use a product that is malfunctioning, has unusual performance or is damaged.
• Always spool the wire rope onto the drum with the rope coming off the top in line with the fairlead opening.
Otherwise because of winding improperly, it will damage the steel wire rope. The service life of the wire rope
is closely related with service condition.
• Always change in time when the wear quantities are higher and the fracture degree of wire rope exceed the
prescribed requirements –keep the changed wire rope to be the same model specification.
• Never use a ceiling hook to hook the wire rope in order to prevent damages.
• Never hook the wire rope back onto itself. This will damage the wire rope. Always use a choker chain,
wire choker rope or a tree trunk protector.
• Always before use, remove any element or obstacle that may interfere with safe product operation.
• Always take time to use appropriate rigging techniques and that the strap or chain will not slip.
• Never touch the wire rope or hook while in tension or under load.
• Always be aware of stability of load during operation.
• Never swing or twist loads.
• Never leave suspended load unattended –never leave the load hanging in the air for a longer time.
•Never spool out past length of the red painted rope, or the rope could come loose or spool in the opposite
direction.
• Never touch the wire rope or hook while someone else is at the control switch or during operation.
•Always stand clear of the wire rope and load and keep others away while operating.
•Always stand to the side of the product during operation.
•Always ensure the hook travels in the same direction as directional switch indicates.
•Always unplug the power cord during rigging, when not in use, or during maintenance & cleaning.
•Never use the product to tow other vehicles. Shock loads can momentarily exceed capacity of the wire rope
& product.
• Never use the product to secure a load during transport.
• Never pull or hang a heavy item slanting when hoisting up, in order to avoid danger.
• Never let a heavy load to hang in the air when not working, in order to prevent permanent deformation of
parts.

CAUTION

• Always ensure that the hook latch is closed and not supporting the load.
• Never apply the load to the hook tip or latch. Apply the load only to the center of the hook. Never twist the
wire rope around the load.
• Never use a hook which throat opening has increased, or which tip is bent or twisted.

• Never use the product to tow other vehicles. Shock loads can momentarily exceed capacity of the wire rope
& product.
• Never use the product to secure a load during transport.
• Never submerge any part of the product in water or use in a wet environment.
• Do NOT use the product in a dusty environment –always prevent dust, especially fine metal dust, from
entering inside the product’s casing.
• Always store the product in a protected, clean and dry area.

ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI).
• Never remove ground pin from the plug.
• Never operate this AC product in a wet environment.

operator’s guide.

WARNING

Operating Instructions –continued
Connect the product to an AC power source:
• Always connect the winch power cord to a properly grounded, 3-prong electrical socket with a ground fault
circuit interrupter.
• Always verify that all wiring and power supply cord are positioned so that the wire rope or moving load will
not damage the cord.
•Always make sure that it is rated to handle the current required to run at full capacity. If using an extension
cord and/or generator.
• Always unplug the product while rigging, when not in use, or during maintenance & cleaning.
Precautions of the remote control:
•The effective distance of remote control is 8 m.
•When remote operation, press the “up” and “down” button, the red light is on, the wire rope works in and out.
• If remote transmitter has lack of electricity or it is over remote distance, there will be some slow or delay
operation phenomenon. In such case you should stop the operation until remove all the faults.
• Do not touch the internal components of remote control to avoid damage. Do not take the internal switch
apart or touch it.
• Do not put the remote control in the place of contact with water, wet or signal interference.
• Do not use sharp objects to press the remote control in order to prevent equipment damage.
• Please take the batteries out when not in use for a long time.

Spooling the rope in and out
Do the following:
• Always take your time to assess your situation and plan your lift/pull carefully.
• Always, prior to a lift/pull, inspect the mounting structure, the product, slings and/or other accessories for
signs of damage. Replace damaged components prior to lift/pull operation.
• Always know the weight of the load and make sure the rigging, hoist and mount will carry the weight.
• Always verify that the load is directly under or in line with the product, the rope is not tangled or kinked, and
that all people are standing clear of the load.
• Always take up any slack in the rope slowly. Begin the lift slowly. If there is any evidence of overloading,
immediately lower the load and correct the situation.
• Always avoid shock loads to the product caused by rapidly lifting or bouncing a load.
• Always inspect and carefully rewind the rope after each use. Cuts, kinks or frayed areas reduce the strength
of the rope. Replace the rope if damaged.
• Always apply tension to the rope when spooling rope out. If no tension is applied, the rope can ball up
inside the product causing damage.
Avoid the following:
• Never use the load limiter to stop the travel of the load or to stop the hook against the fairlead.
• Never use the load limiting feature to measure the load.
• Never spool out rope past the length of the red rope.
• Never attempt to lift/pull an off-center load of any kind. This can cause the load to swing dangerously. Make
sure the load is directly under the product.
• Never allow the load to swing or twist.
Load Indicator Operating
1. Approximate load can be determined from the load indicator display. When the motor overloads, the product
will stop pulling and the last two bars on the display will flash red until the unit can be used again. If this
happens, take tension off from the rope and adjust the load to be less. Do not attempt to apply the same load
if the overload sensor has tripped, as this can be harmful to the product.
2. Products can not be used continuous for a long time, because it may cause the motor overheating. The
motor should cool completely before the next use in order to extend the life of the motor.

(2) As a load is applied, the LED’s will light to
show the level of load –the heavier the load,
the more LED’s will light.
(4) If the motor overheats, the fourth yellow LED will light
up and the product will stop pulling. Stop using the product
and allow it to cool for at least 30 minutes before further
use.

Battery
- Always turn off the power when you are not using the product. Do not store the battery at temperatures above
49 degrees celsius.
- If the power of the product deteriorates, charge the battery full. Do not let the battery run out of power
completely, because it will reduce the lifetime of the battery and it may also cause damage.
- If the first green led blinks when the load is applied, charge the battery.

Removing and installing the battery:
- Make sure the power is off. Push the release button of the battery and slide the battery out of place.
- Make sure the power is off. Slide the battery back in position and make sure that it locks in place.
If the battery does not charge properly:
a. Check the condition of the charger.
b. Check that the charger is 30 V DC input the vital.
c. Check that the battery terminals are clean.
Battery charging:
1. Remove the battery from charging when it is fully loaded.
2. Use only the original batteries. Third-party batteries may damage the device or cause injury to the user.
3. Do not charge the battery in damp conditions.
4. Do not disassemble the charger or the battery.
If the battery fluid starts to leak for some reason, rinse the skin immediately with water and soap. If the battery
fluid gets into your eyes, rinse the eyes with plenty of water for 15 minutes.
Maintenance
• Inspect the wire rope and hooks for signs of wear or damage before and after each operation. Worn and
damaged parts must be replaced. Do not attempt to lengthen the wire rope or repair a damaged rope.
• Any hook that has twisted components or excessive opening may indicate overloading of the product.
• Examples of rope damage are as follows: Kinks, cuts, knots, mashed or frayed portions and broken strands.
• Examples of hook damage are as follows: Cracks, twisted components, excessive opening, seat wear, loose
or unclosed safety gate and corrosion.
• When the wear quantities of quick-wear parts like carbon brush are high, you should change in time.
• Keep the rope and hooks free from contaminants. Use a clean towel to remove dirt & debris.
• Using light oil on the wire rope and hooks can prevent corrosion from forming.
• Always use manufacturer’s replacement parts. Do not modify the product in any way.
• Always make sure that the battery is not cracked or leaking.

VANOS250 & VANOS450 –230 V / 50 Hz sähkövaijeritalja kaukosäätimellä
Sähkövaijeritalja on tarkoitettu sekä veto- että nostotarkoitukseen. Taljan max. työkuorma on (VANOS250)
250 kg / (VANOS450) 450 kg ja käyttövoima 230 V -verkkovirta.
Taljassa on kaksi käyttötapaa:

VANOS450A –24 V DC akkukäyttöinen sähkövaijeritalja
Sähkövaijeritalja on tarkoitettu sekä veto- että nostotarkoitukseen. Taljan max. työkuorma on 450 kg ja
käyttövoima 24 V -akkuvirta.
Vaijerin vetonopeutta voidaan säädellä portaattomasti taljan käyttökytkimellä (1.)

Turvallisuusohjeet
Näiden turvallisuusohjeiden laiminlyönti saattaa johtaa vakavaan loukkaantumiseen. Lue käyttöohjeet, tutustu
huolella taljan käyttöön, äläkä koskaan käytä taljaa, jos olet lääkkeiden, alkoholin tai huumeiden vaikutuksen
alaisena.
Älä koskaan ylitä taljan kapasiteettiä!
• Älä koskaan käytä taljaa täydellä teholla liian pitkään yhtäjaksoisesti tai talja voi vioittua, tai sen käyttöikä voi
lyhentyä.
• Varmista aina, että kaukosäädin toimii oikein ennen kuin kuormitat taljaa. Älä säilytä kaukosäädintä kosteissa
tiloissa.
• Tarkasta aina ennen käyttöä, että koukut, vaijeri ja talja ovat kunnossa. Vaihda vioittuneet osat välittömästi
uusiin alkuperäisosiin.
• Kelaa vaijeri aina takaisin rummulle lopetettuasi käytön. Huolehdi, että vaijeri kelautuu rummulle tasaisesti,
tai muuten vaijeri saattaa vahingoittua.
• Jos vaihdat vaijerin, käytä vain valmistajan suosittelemia vaijereita.
• Älä käytä taljaa, jos siinä ilmenee käyttöhäiriöitä tai talja on jotenkin muuten vioittunut.
• Älä koskaan kytke taljan koukkuja keskenään yhteen ja käytä taljaa, koska se voi vahingoittaa taljaa.
• Aina ennen työskentelyä varmista, että työskentelyalueella ei ole mitään esteitä tai esineitä, jotka voivat
häiritä taljan käyttöä.
• Aina ennen käyttöä varmista, että koukut on kiinnitetty huolella.
• Älä koskaan koske koukkuihin tai vaijeriin, jos taljassa on veto päällä tai vaijeri on kiristyneenä.
• Varmista aina vedossa, että vedettävä kohde on tasapainossa/vakaana.
• Älä koskaan heiluta tai kääntele vedettävää kuormaa.
• Älä koskaan jätä nostossa tai vedossa olevaa kuormaa ilman valvontaa.
• Älä koskaan päästä punaiseksi merkattua vaijerin loppuosaa pois rummulta, muuten vaijeri saattaa irrota tai
kiertyä vastakkaiseen suuntaan.
• Älä koskaan koske samaan aikaan vaijeriin tai koukkuihin, jos joku muu käyttää taljaa.
• Käytön aikana vaijerin tai taakan välittömässä läheisyydessä oleskelu on kielletty.
• Käytä laitetta aina taljan sivustalta.
• Varmista aina, että vaijeri kelautuu siihen suuntaan mihin käyttökytkin on asetettu.
• Poista akku aina kun et käytä laitetta, puhdistat sitä tai suoritat huoltotoimenpiteitä.
• Älä käytä laitetta hinaustarkoitukseen. Äkkinäiset liikkeet voivat aiheuttaa hetkellisen ylikuormituksen taljalle.
• Älä koskaan käytä taljaa taakan sitomiseen kuljetuksen aikana.
• Älä koskaan jätä taakkaa roikkumaan pitkäksi aikaa.

• Käytä aina suojalaseja käytön aikana.
• Älä koskaan käytä taljaa ympäristössä, jossa on herkästi syttyviä- tai räjähtäviä aineita.
• Älä koskaan altista akkua tulelle, teräville tai muille esineille, jotka voivat vahingoittaa sitä.
• Älä koskaan nosta tai vedä henkilöitä taljalla.
• Kuorman alla ei saa olla koskaan ketään edes hetkellisesti.
• Älä koskaan käytä taljaa kosteassa ympäristössä.
• Älä käytä tuotetta pölyisessä ympäristössä - estä aina pölyn, erityisesti hienon metallipölyn pääsy tuotteen
kotelon sisälle.
• Käytä aina asianmukaisia paksuja nahkahansikkaita käsitellessäsi vaijeria.
• Älä koskaan anna vaijerin luisua käsiesi välissä.
•Varo aina mahdollisia kuumia osia käytön aikana ja jälkeen.
•Käytä aina salvallista koukkua.
• Varmista että koukun salpa on aina sulkeutunut oikein.
• Älä koskaan nosta tai vedä koukun kärjellä. Varmista, että koukku on asennettu taakkaan kuvan 3
osoittamalla tavalla. Älä koskaan kierrä vaijeria kuorman ympäri.
• Älä koskaan käytä koukkua, joka on muuttanut muotoa verrattuna alkuperäiseen.

• Älä kelaa koukkua kiinni koukun ohjuriin asti.
Kaukosäädin
• Kaukosäätimen kantama on 8 m.
• Up-näppäimella vaijeri kelautuu rummulle.
• Down-näppäimella vaijeri vapautuu rummulta.
• Jos kaukosäätimessä ilmenee viivettä tai se ei muuten toimi normaalisti, siirry lähemmäksi taljaa, vaihda
kaukosäätimen paristot tai huollata se ammattilaisella.
• Älä päästä kaukosäädintä veden kanssa kosketuksiin tai älä käytä sitä kosteassa ympäristössä.
• Poista paristot kaukosäätimestä, jos et käytä sitä pitkään aikaan.
Vaijerin kelaaminen ja vapauttaminen
• Suunnittele nosto- tai vetotapahtuma aina huolella.
• Tarkasta tuote, mahdolliset nostoapuvälineet ja kiinnitysrakenteet vaurioiden varalta. Älä käytä viallisia
komponentteja.
• Varmista aina taakan paino, ettei se ylitä sallittua taljan kapasiteettiä.
• Varmista, että taakka on aina suorassa linjassa taljan ja vaijerin kanssa.
• Kelaa aina varovasti vaijerista tyhjät pois ennen kuin aloitat taakan vetämisen tai nostamisen.
•Vältä voimakkaita pistevoimia, jotka voivat ylikuormittaa taljaa. Nosta/vedä kuormaa rauhallisesti.
• Tarkasta vaijerin kunto jokaisen käytön jälkeen, ettei vaijerista löydy repeämiä, poikkinaisia säikeitä tai muita
vastaavia kulumia. Korvaa vaijeri aina, jos se on vahingoittunut.
• Pidä vaijerissa pieni jännitys aina kun kelaat vaijeria ulos rummulta, muuten se saattaa kerääntyä taljan
sisään aiheuttaen taljan rikkoutumisen.

Varauksen- ja työkuormailmaisimen ja moottorin toiminta
- Kuorman taakan pystyy arvioimaan varauksenilmaisimen valojen määrästä. Jos taljaa ylikuormitetaan, se
lopettaa vetämisen ja kaksi viimeistä valoa vilkkuu punaisena. Vapauta kuorma ja älä yritä vetää/nostaa sitä
uudelleen.
- Taljaa ei saa käyttää pitkiä aikoja kerralla, koska se aiheuttaa moottorin ylikuumenemisen. Anna moottorin
jäähtyä aina ennen seuraavaa työvaihetta 30 min, tai muuten moottorin saattaa vahingoittua.
- Jos talja ei toimi, eikä se vedä tai vapauta vaijeria, varmista, että varauksen ilmaisimen valot eivät vilku ja
että akussa on virtaa.

Akku
- Sammuta virta aina, kun et käytä taljaa. Älä säilytä akkua yli 49°C:ssä.
- Mikäli taljan teho heikkenee, lataa akku täyteen. Älä anna akun varaustilan koskaan mennä täysin loppuun,
koska se vähentää akun käyttöikää ja saattaa vahingoittaa akkua.
- Jos ensimmäinen vihreä valo vilkkuu taljaa kuormitettaessa, lataa akku täyteen.
Akun irrottaminen:
- Varmista, että taljan virta on kytketty pois.
- Paina akun irrotuspainiketta ja liu’uta akku pois paikoiltaan.
Akun asentaminen:
- Varmista, että taljan virta on kytketty pois.
- Liu’uta akku taljan runkoon ja varmista, että se lukittautuu paikoilleen.
Jos akku ei lataa oikein:
a. Tarkista laturin kunto.
b. Tarkista, että laturi syöttää 30 V DC.
c. Tarkista, että akun liittimet ovat puhtaat.
Akun lataus
1. Irrota akku latauksesta, kun se on ladannut täyteen.
2. Käytä vain alkuperäisiä akkuja. Muun valmistajan akut voivat vahingoittaa laitetta tai aiheuttaa vahinkoa
laitteen käyttäjälle.
3. Älä lataa akkua kosteissa olosuhteissa.
4. Älä pura laturia tai akkua.
Jos akkunestettä jostain syystä vuotaa iholle, huuhtele se välittömästi veden ja saippuan avulla. Jos
akkunestettä joutuu silmiin, huuhtele silmät runsaalla vedellä 15 minuutin ajan.
Huolto
• Tarkasta vaijerin kunto jokaisen käytön jälkeen, ettei vaijerista löydy repeämiä, poikkinaisia säikeitä tai muita
vastaavia kulumia. Korvaa vaijeri aina, jos se on vahingoittunut. Älä yritä pidentää tai korjata vaijeria
omatoimisesti.
• Pidä vaijeri ja koukut hyvässä kunnossa puhdistamalla niitä säännöllisesti ja voitelemalla ne kevyesti öljyllä
korroosion estämiseksi. Akku täytyy aina irrottaa puhdistuksen ajaksi.
