Sonstige Voraussetzung:
Zum Empfang von DVB-T Signalen muss sichergestellt sein, dass eine ausreichende DVB-T Versorgung
an Ihrem Standort gewährleistet ist. Weiterhin kann es sein, dass in Randgebieten des
Versorgungsgebietes die beiliegende passive DVB-T Antenne nicht ausreicht, um einen problemlosen
Empfang zu ermöglichen. In diesem Fall wird empfohlen, entweder eine vorhandene Dachantenne oder
eine aktive DVB-T Antenne mit integriertem Verstärker ( z.B. Hama Artikelnummer 00062712 Mobile
DVB-Antenne) zu verwenden. Falls Sie mehr Informationen über die DVB-T Versorgung in Deutschland
erhalten möchten, besuchen Sie bitte die Website www.ueberallfernsehen.de; dort können Sie, anhand
Ihrer Postleitzahl, die Versorgung mittels DVB-T an Ihrem gewünschten Standort überprüfen.
Softwareinstallation unter Windows® 2000 mit Service Pack 4:
1. Schalten Sie den Computer ein und loggen Sie sich als Administrator oder als Benutzer mit
entsprechenden Rechten in Windows® 2000 ein.
2. Speichern Sie alle offenen Dokumente und beenden Sie alle offenen Programme, bevor Sie mit der
Softwareinstallation beginnen. Weiter überprüfen Sie bitte, ob auf Ihren System bereits das benötigte
DirectX in der Version 9.0c oder höher installiert ist. (Wie Sie die Version herausfinden, lesen Sie bitte in
Ihrem Handbuch oder in der Online Hilfe des Betriebssystems nach.)
3. Legen Sie nun die beiliegende Treiber CD-ROM in Ihr Laufwerk ein. Der Hama Installationsmanager
startet automatisch. Wählen Sie danach die gewünschte Sprache aus.
4. Nun erscheint ein neues Menü mit verschiedenen Optionen, bitte wählen Sie als erstes die Option
„Treiber installieren“.
5. Daraufhin startet die Treiberinstallation, bitte folgen Sie den Anweisung des Installationsprogramms.
Das Programm kopiert nun die erforderlichen Treiberdateien auf Ihr System.
6. Im nächsten Schritt installieren Sie nun die Software für den DVB-T Hybrid Empfänger. Klicken Sie
hierfür auf die Option „Software Installieren“.
7. Bitte halten Sie während der Installation den CD-Key bereit, welcher sich auf der CD-Hülle befindet.
Achtung! Bitte bewahren Sie unbedingt den CD-Key an einem sicheren Ort auf, da Sie den Key für jede
Neuinstallation benötigen!!!
8. Folgen Sie nun den Anweisungen des Installationsprogramms, bis das Programm erfolgreich installiert
wurde.
9. Stecken Sie nun den Hama DVB-T Hybrid Empfänger in das Laptop/Notebook ein. Daraufhin startet der
Windows® Hardware Assistent der den bereits kopierten Treiber installiert.

Umschalten zwischen Analog und Digital Modus:
Bevor Sie nach Programmen suchen, stellen Sie sicher, dass die Antenne mit dem Hama DVB-T Empfänger
verbunden ist und die Karte im Computer eingesteckt wurde.
Danach werden Sie gefragt, welchen Modus Sie
benutzen wollen. Sie können wählen zwischen digitalen
(DVB-T) und analogen (herkömmlicher) Empfang.

Sie können auch über das Bedienmenü, zwischen den einzelnen
unterstützen Modi umstellen. Indem Sie auf das Icon klicken
und dann Ihren gewünschten Typ auswählen.
Anmerkung: FM-Radio wird nicht unterstützt, deswegen ist
die Option nicht auswählbar!
Programmsuchlauf (analog):
Bevor Sie nach Programmen suchen, stellen Sie sicher, dass die Antenne mit dem Hama DVB-T Empfänger
verbunden ist und die Karte im Computer eingesteckt wurde.

Überprüfung der korrekten Treiberinstallation unter Windows® XP
Ob Windows® XP den Hama DVB-T Hybrid Empfänger ordnungsgemäß ins System eingebunden hat, können
Sie im Geräte-Manager überprüfen. Klicken Sie hierzu auf -> Start -> Systemsteuerung -> System und
Wartung -> System. Im Fenster Systemeigenschaften fahren Sie fort mit -> Hardware -> Geräte-Manager. In
der Sektion Audio,- Video- und Gamecontroller muss der Eintrag „Hama DVB-T, Hybrid Capture Device“ ohne
gelbes Ausrufezeichen vorhanden sein.
Sicherheitshinweis:
• Halten Sie das Gerät von Flüssigkeiten, wie z.B. Wasser fern.
• Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in feuchten Umgebungen.
• Das Gerät besitzt keine zu wartenden Bauteile, deshalb dürfen Reparaturen nur von autorisiertem
Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden.
FAQ:
Bitte beachten Sie, dass wir unser Produkt vor der Einführung sorgfältig auf eventuelle Fehler getestet haben.
Da es aber eine Vielzahl von unterschiedlichen Hardwarekonfigurationen gibt, ist es unmöglich alle Variati-
onen zu testen. Sollte bei Ihnen eines der folgenden Probleme auftauchen, versuchen Sie diese, wie unter
FAQ beschrieben, zu lösen, bevor Sie die Hama Produktberatung in Anspruch nehmen.
Frage: Ich finde überhaupt keine digitalen TV Sender, was mache ich falsch?
Antwort: Bitte überprüfen Sie, ob an Ihrem Standort schon eine DVB-T Versorgung vorgesehen ist. In der
Bundesrepublik Deutschland ist zum Zeitpunkt der Handbucherstellung DVB-T nicht flächendeckend zu
empfangen. Bitte informieren Sie sich im Internet z. B. unter www.ueberallfernsehen.de nach der
Versorgungslage. Dort ist es möglich mittels der Postleitzahl, die verfügbaren DVB-T Sender und die
entsprechende Empfangsvoraussetzung, z. B Zimmerantenne, aktive Antenne oder Dachantenne, angezeigt
zu bekommen.
Frage: Es werden nicht alle verfügbaren DVB-T Kanäle gefunden, was kann ich tun?
Antwort: Manche Kanäle könnten verschlüsselt sein, oder setzen ein spezielles MHP fähiges
Empfangsgerät voraus. Der Hama DVB-T Empfänger kann nur unverschlüsselte Sender anzeigen. Außerdem
ist es nicht möglich MHP Kanäle zu empfangen. Sollten Sie sicher sein, das nicht alle unverschlüsselten
Programme gefunden wurden, versuchen Sie den Antennenstandort solange zu wechseln, bis alle Programme
gefunden werden können oder benutzen Sie eine andere DVB-T fähige Antenne mit integriertem Verstärkter
(z.B. Hama Artikel Nr. 00062712 mobile DVB-T Antenne). Es kann aber auch je nach Standort möglich sein,
dass Sie eine ausreichende Signalstärke, nur über die Dachantenne für alle Programme zu erhalten.

In order to receive DVB-T signals, you must ensure that your region is sufficiently covered by the DVB-T
network. In peripheral areas, the enclosed passive DVB-T aerial may not be sufficient to allow perfect
reception. If this is the case, we recommend that you use a roof antenna, if available, or an active DVB-T
aerial with an integrated amplifier (such as Hama item number 00062712, mobile DVB aerial). If you require
more information on DVB-T coverage in Germany, visit the www.ueberallfernsehen.de website. This page

Installing the software under Windows® 2000 with Service Pack 4:

7. Please have your CD key found on the CD cover ready during installation. Caution: Please make sure
to keep the CD cover with the CD key at a safe place as you will need it for each reinstallation of the
software.
8. Now follow the instructions of the installation program until the installation is completed successfully.
9. Plug the Hama DVB-T Hybrid receiver into your laptop/notebook computer. The Windows® Hardware
Wizard is launched and installs the driver copied in the previous step.

Toggle between analogue and digital mode:
Before searching for channels, make sure that the aeriaL is connected to the Hama DVB-T receiver and the
card is plugged into the computer.
You are prompted for the mode you would like to use.
You can choose between digital (DVB-T) and analogue
(conventional) reception
You can also toggle the supported modes from the user menu. Click
the icon and select the required type.
Note: FM radio is not supported, which is why you
cannot select this option.
Channel search (analogue mode):
Before searching for channels, make sure that the aerial is connected to the Hama DVB-T receiver and the
card is plugged into the computer.
1. Click the configuration menu and select the Device section.
2. Select your device from the list.
3. Select the Channel section in the Settings
menu and choose a Region, e. g. Germany.
Click the Search button to search for channels.
4. Click OK to close the window.

Before searching for channels, make sure that the aerial is connected to the Hama DVB-T receiver and the
card is plugged into the computer.

Search button to search for channels.

Checking the XP driver installation in Windows® XP:
You can check whether Windows® XP connected the Hama DVB-T Hybrid receiver to the system
successfully using the device manager. To check, click Start -> Control Panel -> System and maintenance ->
System. In the System Properties window, select -> Hardware -> Device Manager. In the Audio, video and
games controller section, the „Hama DVB-T, Hybrid Capture Device” entry must be displayed without a yellow
exclamation mark.
Safety instructions:
• Keep away from liquids, e.g. water.
• Do not use the device in damp environments.
• There are no serviceable components in the device. Only authorised qualified staff may carry out
repairs on it.
FAQ:
Please note that we test our products carefully for faults before introducing them. However, due to the
variety of possible hardware configurations, it is impossible to test all of them. If one of the following
problems occurs, try to solve it as described in the FAQs before contacting Hama Product Consulting!
Question: I cannot find any digital channels. What am I doing wrong?
Answer: Please check if DVB-T coverage is planned for your location. There was nationwide DVB-T coverage
in the Federal Republic of Germany when this manual was written. Please check the situation on the Internet
under www.ueberallfernsehen.com. You can use your post code to view available DVB-T channels and
requirements for receiving them such as an indoor antenna, active aerial, or roof antenna.
Question: Not all available DVB-T channels are found. What can I do?
Answer: Some channels may be encrypted or require a special MHP capable receiver. The Hama DVB-T
receiver can only show non-encrypted channels. It also won‘t receive MHP channels. If you are sure that
some non-encrypted programs are not being found, try changing the antenna position until all channels can
be found, or use a DVB-T antenna with an integrated amplifier (such as Hama item no. 00062712, mobile DVB-T
aerial). Depending on the area, you may only get a strong enough signal to receive all channels via the roof
antenna.

Installation du logiciel Windows® 2000 avec le Service Pack 4 :
1. Démarrez votre ordinateur, puis enregistrez-vous dans Windows® 2000 en tant qu’administrateur ou

nouveau matériel de Windows® démarre et installe le pilote copié.

Commutation entre le mode analogique et le mode numérique :
Avant de rechercher les programmes, assurez-vous que l’antenne est connectée au récepteur DVB-T de
Hama et que la carte est bien insérée dans votre ordinateur.
Vous serez ensuite invité(e) à sélectionner le mode
que vous désirez utiliser. Vous pouvez choisir entre
la réception numérique (DVB-T) et analogique
(conventionnelle).

Vous pouvez également commuter entre les deux modes
à l’aide du menu de commande en cliquant sur l’icône
et sélectionnant le mode désiré.
Remarque : La radio FM n’est pas supportée, c’est pourquoi
cette option ne peut pas être sélectionnée !
Recherche des canaux (analogiques) :
Avant de chercher les programmes, assurez-vous que l’antenne est connectée au récepteur DVB-T de Hama
et que la carte est bien insérée dans votre ordinateur.
1. Cliquez sur le menu de configuration afin de l’ouvrir, puis sélectionnez la rubrique Appareil.
2. Sélectionnez votre appareil dans la liste.
3. Sélectionnez la rubrique Canal dans le menu
Réglages, puis Germany, par exemple, sous
Région. Cliquez ensuite sur le bouton Recherche
afin de rechercher les canaux.
4. Cliquez sur OK afin de refermer le menu.
Recherche des canaux (numériques) :
Avant de rechercher les programmes, assurez-vous que l’antenne est connectée au récepteur DVB-T de
Hama et que la carte est bien insérée dans votre ordinateur.
1. Cliquez sur le menu de configuration afin de l’ouvrir, puis sélectionnez la rubrique Appareil.

Vérification de l’installation du pilote sous Windows® XP
Vous pouvez vérifier si Windows® XP a correctement intégré le récepteur DVB-T Hybrid de Hama dans votre
système en consultant le gestionnaire de périphérique. Pour ce faire, cliquez sur -> Démarrer -> Panneau
de configuration -> Système et entretien -> Système. Continuez dans la fenêtre « Propriétés système » par
=> Matériel => Gestionnaire de périphériques. L’entrée « Hama DVB-T, Hybrid Capture Device » doit être
affichée sans point d’exclamation jaune dans la section « Contrôleur audio, vidéo, contrôleur de jeux ».
Consignes de sécurité :
• Assurez-vous qu’aucun liquide (eau, etc.) ne puisse pénétrer dans l’appareil.
• N‘utilisez pas l‘appareil dans des environnements humides.
• L’appareil ne contient aucune partie nécessitant un entretien ; toute réparation doit être effectuée par
un personnel qualifié autorisé.

Notre produit a été soigneusement testé avant d’être introduit sur le marché. En raison de la multitude de
configurations du matériel, il est néanmoins impossible de tester toutes les variantes. Dans le cas où des

Question : Je ne trouve aucun émetteur TV numérique, où est l’erreur ?
Réponse : Veuillez vérifier si votre lieu de résidence dispose déjà d’une diffusion DVB-T. En Allemagne, la
diffusion DVB-T ne recouvre pas la totalité du territoire. Veuillez, par exemple, consulter le site internet
www.ueberallfernsehen.de afin de vous informer de l’état de diffusion de votre région. Vous pourrez, à
l’aide de votre code postal, y consulter la liste des émetteurs DVB-T et les conditions de réception
(antenne d’intérieur, antenne active ou antenne de toit, etc.).
Question : Tous les canaux DVB-T disponibles ne sont pas détectés, que puis-je faire ?
Réponse : Certains canaux sont peut-être codés ou exigent un appareil de réception MHP spécial. Le
récepteur DVB-T de Hama peut afficher uniquement les émetteurs non codés. En outre, il est impossible de
recevoir les canaux MHP. Dans le cas où vous êtes sûr(e) que tous les programmes non codés n’ont pas été
détectés dans leur totalité, essayez de changer le lieu d’implantation de l’antenne jusqu’à ce que vous
receviez tous les programmes ou utilisez une autre antenne compatible DVB-T avec un amplificateur intégré
(l’antenne DVB-T mobile de Hama, référence 00062712, par exemple). Il est cependant possible que, selon le
lieu d’implantation, vous ne puissiez recevoir un signal de puissance suffisant qu’à l’aide d’une antenne de toit.
