installed. It is possible that your vehicle has no
suitable seang posion for this booster seat due to
seat belt type and/or air bag system. Read and follow
these instrucons, and your vehicle owner’s manual
carefully.

This child restraint system conforms to Federal
Motor Vehicle Safety Standards secon 213.2, and
for use in passenger motor vehicles.
This restraint is for aircra use.
This booster seat must be used in homes, boats,
buses, motorcycles, motor homes, or any other vehicles
that have non-forward-facing seats, missing seat belts,
or whose seat belts do not meet the requirements of
this booster seat.
An inang airbag may cause serious injury or death.
Refer to your vehicle owner’s manual for informaon
about airbags and booster seat installaon.
This booster seat may be used in a rear seang posion
equipped with side impact airbags providing they are:
• Roof mounted.
• “Curtain” type deployment.
• Will interfere with, impact or in any way
reposion the booster seat when inated.
Please refer to your vehicle owner’s manual for airbag
type, and for appropriate use with booster seats.

Children aged 13 and under ride in the rear
seats, away from front airbags. The only excepon is
if the airbags are turned o. When using a booster
seat in a vehicle with airbags, refer to the vehicle
owner’s manual for addional
installaon instrucons and
precauons.

Only use this booster seat in forward-facing vehicle
seats. Side-facing or rear-facing seats in vans, staon
wagons or trucks be used.

conrm state laws with local authories. Laws
vary from state to state regarding minimum / maximum
booster seat requirements for age, weight and height.
Your child must meet requirements:

In very few vehicles, the booster seat cannot be
properly installed because of the type of seat, seat
belt system and/or airbag system. read and
follow the vehicle owner’s manual for booster seat
system use.
Use this booster seat in a vehicle rear seat locaon.
put this booster seat in a front seat locaon
unless permied by vehicle owner’s manual.
For vehicles with airbags, refer to the vehicle owner’s
manual for booster seat installaon informaon.
If a vehicle’s front seat locaon must be used,
disable the airbag. Failure to disable the airbag system
can result in serious injury or death. Follow the vehicle
owner’s manual for instrucons on disabling the front
airbag system.

Review your vehicle owner’s manual for vehicle seat
belt use with booster seats.
. You must determine if your vehicle’s
seat belts are compable for use with this booster seat.
This booster seat can be installed properly using
vehicle 3-point lap/shoulder seat belts. However, some
vehicle seat belts are not safe to use as their anchoring
points for the lap belt may not allow for a secure
installaon. use any unsafe vehicle seat belt
systems.
use any of the following
vehicle seat belt systems with this
booster seat:
use a non-locking, 2-point
vehicle seat belt (ELR). This seat
belt type locks only when the
vehicle slows, changes direcon or
stops suddenly.
use motor driven automac
seat belts.
use a vehicle seat belt
system where the lap and shoulder
belts have independent retractors.
use a vehicle seat belt
system with top or boom
anchorage points aached to the
door in any way.

: The vehicle shoulder belt must be
the child’s shoulders. If the
upper most shoulder belt guide posion is below the
child’s shoulders, use this booster seat.
! the vehicle shoulder belt’s posion (height) is
correct for your child’s size. .
: use this booster seat if the
midpoint of your child’s head is above the top of the
booster seat’s headrest at its maximum height.
use lap belts whose anchor
points are forward of the seat

Incorrect use of the vehicle’s 3-point lap/shoulder
seat belt system is the most common mistake people
make. It is important to read, understand
and follow instrucons and warnings.

1. Idenfy the locking strap
at the front of the booster
seat (see Parts List, page
13). Undo locking strap by
removing elasc loop. Store
strap under fabric seat pad
for future use.

(stored inside booster) and
set aside.
3. With the booster seat base at on a surface, squeeze

into place.
