Facade and Door Installation Guide
Facade Package
The facade package contains the
following items (Figure 01):
1. Door assembly
2. Facade assembly
3. Wooden knob
4. Shoulder screw
(for door knob)
5. 3/32 Hex wrench
(for installing and adjusting
the door hinges)
6. 5/32 Hex wrench
(for installing the knob)
7. 2 self-tapping screws (for
securing the facade)
8. 2 springs (for securing the
facade)

Install the door (Figure 02):
The hinges on your WFP-75 are pre-adjusted to position the door in its correct place. To
install the door, follow these steps:
1. Use the hex wrench included in the facade package to loosen the screws on the
upper hinge of the door. Only loosen enough to make the hinge move slightly.

Install the door knob
(Figure 03):
Attach the wooden knob
to the handle using the
Shoulder screw. Tighten
the screw using the 5/32
hex wrench.

Adjusting the door alignment (Figure 04):
To adjust the door positioning and spacing, loosen the hinge pin set screws and pivot the
hinge until the door is in the correct position. To tilt the door, lock one of the two hinge pins in
place and pivot the other. The door will tilt to one side or the other depending on the direction
the hinge is pivoted. For the door to be straight, both hinges must be aligned along the same
axis.
If the door hinges are misaligned, it will tilt. It is therefore recommended to align them. Once
the ideal position has been achieved, lock the hinges in place by tightening the set screws.
2. Attach the door to the replace by sliding the hinges onto the hinge pins. Make sure
the hinges are fully connected, so that there is contact between the hinges of the
door and replace.
3. Tighten the screws on the upper hinge of the door.

Install the facade (Figure 05):
1. Attach the springs included in the bag of parts to the tabs on the ceiling inside the
replace.
2. Open the door slightly, then maneuver the facade into place with the steel frame of
the facade tting into the frame of the replace.
3. Reach into the replace and attach the springs installed in step 1 to the holes in the
upper corners of the facade frame. Use pliers to help hold the hook of the spring.
4. Firmly push the facade to the replace, tting the facade frame inside the replace
frame.
Secure the facade (Figure 06):
1. Open the Blower door.
2. Secure the facade using the 2 self-drilling screws provided. Drive the screws
through the slots in the facade frame into the metal frame of the replace. (There are
no pre-drilled pilot holes) Note: non-combustible shims may need to be added
to the outside of the facade frame to prevent the facade frame from separating
and interfering with the blower control door.
3. If you are planning to install a non-combustible facing material behind the facade,
install this material before securing the screws. Refer to section 2.4.3 in the manual.
Adjusting the blower door:
The blower door is held closed by a magnet on the right side of the facade.
To adjust the strength or position of the closure, remove or add washers behind the magnet.
