SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
This product is exclusively intended for the use:
- for chopping of ligneous or fibrous waste from the garden, such as hedgerow and tree
chippings, branches, bark and shoots of conifers. Do not put stone, glass, metal, bones,
plastic or fabric into the crusher.
- according to the corresponding descriptions and safety instructions in these operating
instructions.
Any other use is not as intended.
If the product is used for any purpose other than the intended purpose or if unauthorized
modification is made, the statutory warranty and statutory responsibility for defects as
well as any liability on the part of the manufacturer will be void.
Do not overload! Use the product only for the powers it was designed for. The product designed
for a given purpose performs it better and safer than one that has a similar function. Therefore,
always use the correct one for a given purpose.
Please keep in mind that our products are not designed for commercial, trade or industrial use
according to their intended purpose. We accept no liability if the product is used in these or

the instructions for use, can cause injury.
• Get to know this product. Carefully read the instruction manual. Learn how to use this
product, all restrictions, and what risks could related with its use. Learn the product quickly
stop and turn off the controls.
• Be careful at work, be concentrated on actual work, and use the common sense.
• If the product is not in use, it should be stored in a dry and secure place out of the reach of children.
• Never pull the plug from the socket by pulling on the cord. Keep the supply cord away from

• Do not use this product if the main switch does not allow it to switch on or off.
• This product is designed in accordance with all applicable safety requirements and standards
applicable to it. All repairs should be only made by qualified person and spare parts replaced
by original parts, otherwise the user may be in serious danger.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY

Do not connect a damaged cable or touch the damaged cable before disconnecting
from the network. This can cause an electric shock. In case of damage to the supply,
have it replaced by an authorized service centre. This prevents a dangerous situation.
Keep track of where you have an extension cable. Damage of the extension cord
or cables may result in serious electrical shock, and in a better case only material
damage may occur.
Note: I
It is good to have the extension cable in a distinctive colour in order to not to overlook,
cross, cut through or trip over it.
• Protect yourself against electric shock.
• Do not expose to rain or use in damp or wet conditions.
• Do not use in environments with a risk of fire or explosion.
• Regularly check the supply cable and check for signs of damage or aging.
• Avoid accidental starting.
• Use only extension cables with sufficient section, which are approved for this purpose and
labelled accordingly.
• Cable drum before using completely unwind.
• Prevent spontaneous fall of small objects into the product.
• Never use brute force.
ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Never use at the nominal voltage other than 230V/50Hz. The circuit must be properly and
accordingly current protected.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROTECTION CLASS II MACHINES
• Machines should be powered via a current protector (RCD) having a tripping current of not
more than 30 mA
EXTENSION LEAD
• Always use a double-insulated power supply and the parameters corresponding to
the machine’s power consumption. The minimum cross section of the cable must be determined
according to the current or power data on the fork/label of the machine. It‘s not only necessary
to take the load into account, but also the length of the extension lead and the type of fuse.
• Position power supply cable so it does not interfere with the work and is not damaged.
• Only use rubberised extension cables with sufficient conductor cross section and fully developed.

• The correct maximum load of the extension cable must always be indicated on its label.
• Use only outdoor cables, preferably colour-coded, well visible. This reduces the chance of
accidental damage to the cable.
WORK AREA
• Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark areas invite accidents.
• Keep children and bystanders away while operating the machine. Distractions can cause
you to lose control.
SAFETY GUIDELINES FOR WORKING WITH THE DEVICE
• Before operation make sure that receiving hopper is empty.
• Before operation make sure that receiving hopper is empty.
• Keep head, hair and body at distance from the receiving opening.
• Do not touch the filling funnel during the operation. After switching the machine off,
the crushing roller still rotates for a few seconds.
• Ensure balance and good stability. Never lean forward and never stand higher than device
when throwing the material in.
• Never throw in any hard material such as metals, stones, glass or other foreign objects.
• Do not use the machine in rain or bad weather. Work only in daylight or in a good artificial light.
• Do not use the machine when you are tired or restless, if you consumed alcohol or drugs.
Take regular breaks and work sensibly.
• Switch the unit off and disconnect from power supply in following cases:
- when you stop using the machine, during the transport or when you leave the machine
unattended
- when you do any work on the unit, such as unclogging, cleaning, maintenance or inspection
- when changing the spare parts
- if the electric or extension cable is damaged
- if you are going to move or lift the machine
- if you experience unusual vibrations or noise (always check for damage before re-
starting the unit)
- if there is a foreign object caught in the machine
• Do not allow material to be accumulated in discharge area, it could prevent proper discharge
and cause blowback of the material in receiving opening.
• Do not transport, lift or turn device with the engine running.
• Do not put hands, other body parts and clothes in the filling chamber, near the discharge
channel or other moving parts.
• In the event of blockage in receiving opening or discharge channel, turn off the engine and
disconnect the plug before removing the remains of material from the channel or opening.
• Make sure that there are no accumulated debris and other substances on the engine to
protect it from damage or possible fire. Keep in mind that when switching on the motor-
powered machines all cutting implements start to operate as well.

PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
• Always wear suitable work clothes while working, allowing you to move freely. Do not
wear loose clothes or jewellery, ties, scarves, and the like. Keep clothes and gloves out of
the moving parts of the machine. Free clothing, jewellery or long hair can get stuck in them.
• Wear approved eye protection! The operation of machine can result in foreign objects being
thrown into your eyes which may result in severe eye damage. Normal glasses are not sufficient
for eye protection. For example, corrective glasses or sunglasses do not provide adequate
protection because they have not special safety glass and aren’t enough closed from the sides.
• Wear adequate noise protection equipment! The impact of noise can cause hearing damage
or hearing loss. Take frequent work breaks. Limit the amount of exposure per day.
• Always wear sturdy shoes with nonslip soles. Risk of damaging the legs or risk of slipping on
wet or slippery ground. This protects against injuries and ensures a good footing.
• Use firm, cutting-proof work gloves when working with the machine..
PREVENTION AND FIRST AID
Note: I We recommend always having:
- A suitable fire extinguisher (snow, powder, halotron) at your disposal.
- A fully equipped first-aid kit, easily accessible for accompaniment and operator.
- Mobile phone or other device for quickly calling emergency services.
- Accompaniment familiar with the principles of first aid. Accompaniment must keep
a safe distance from the workplace while always seeing you!
CAlways follow the principles of first aid in case of any injuries.
• If there is a cut, cover the wound with a clean bandage (fabric) and press down firmly to
stop the bleeding.
• If the skin is burnt, avoid further exposure to the source of burns first. Cool the injured areas
of smaller extend with water of preferably about 4-8 °C. Do not put ointments, creams or
dusting powders on the affected area. The best way is to use a wet compress, for example
a handkerchief or a towel. Then secure the sterile cover and, if necessary, seek medical attention.
• If persons with circulatory problems are often exposed to excessive vibration, they may
experience injury to blood vessels or their nervous system. The vibrations may cause
the following symptoms appear on fingers, hands or wrists: numbness, itching, pain,
tingling, changes in skin colour or of the skin itself. If any of these symptoms occur, consult
a doctor.
• When an electric shock is caused, it is necessary more than anywhere else to put emphasis
on safety and risk elimination for the rescuers. The affected person usually stays in contact
with electrical equipment (source of injury) because of muscle spasms caused by the electric
shock. Traumatic process continues in this case. It is therefore necessary to TURN THE
POWER OFF FIRST using any possible way. Subsequently CALL AN AMBULANCE or other
professional service, and then PROVIDE FIRST AID! Ensure free airways, check breathing,
check pulse, put the affected flat on their back, bend their head and stick out their lower
jaw. If necessary, begin with artificial respiration into the lungs and heart massage.
IN CASE OF FIRE:
• If the motor starts to burn or it the smoke appears from it, turn the product off and move
away to safety.
• To extinguish the fire, use suitable fire extinguisher (CO2, Dry Powder, halotron).
• DO NOT PANIC. Panic can cause even more damage.

RESIDUAL RISKS
• Even if the device is used according to instructions, it´s impossible to eliminate all the risks
associated with its operation. The following risks may occur arising from device construction:
• Mechanical hazard, caused by cut and throw off.
• Electrical hazard caused by touch with parts under high voltage (direct contact) or with
parts, which came under a high voltage due to failure of the device (indirect contact).
• Heat hazard resulting in burning or scalding and other injuries caused by possible contact
with high temperature objects or materials including heat sources.
• Noise risk resulting in loss of hearing (deafness) and other physiological disorders (e.g. loss
of balance, loss of consciousness).
• Vibration risk (resulting in vascular and neurological harm in the hand-arm system, for
example so called “white finger disease”).
• Dangers caused by contact with harmful liquids, gas, mist, smoke and dust or by their
inhalation, relate to emissions (for example breathing in).
• Danger of fire or explosion relate to spilling of fuel.
• Dangers caused by failing in ergonomic principles by construction of the machine, for
example dangers caused by unhealthy position of body or excessive overcharge and unnature
to the anatomy of the human hand-arm, relate to construction of handle, equilibrium of
the machine and using of toothrest.
• Dangers caused by unexpected starting, unexpected exceeding of engine revs caused by
defect/failure of control system, relate to the defects by the handle and placing of drivers.
• Dangers caused by impossibility to stop the machine in best conditions, relate to solidity of
the handle and placing of engine shut down device.
• Dangers caused by defect of machine control system, relate to solidity of the handle, placing
of drivers and marking.
• Dangers caused by tearing (of the chain) during running.
• Dangers caused by shooting up of subjects or splashing of liquids.
UNPACKING
• Carefully check all parts after unpacking the product from the box.
• Do not throw away packaging materials until you have not reviewed carefully if they did not
remain a part of the product.
• Parts of the packaging (plastic bags, paper clips, etc.) do not leave within reach of children,
could be a possible source of danger. There is a danger of swallowing or suffocating!
• If you notice transport damage or while unpacking, notify your supplier immediately. Do not
operate the product!
• We recommend save the package for future use. The packaging materials must still be
recycled or disposed of in compliance with the relevant legislation. Sort different parts of
the packaging according to material and hand it to the appropriate collection sites. For
further information contact your local administration.

ASSEMBLY
Open the package and remove the machine from package.
Pull out the collecting box and the main part of the machine and accessories.
Install the wheel and the bracket foot. (Fig. 2)
Place the mainframe upside down and fix the support to the mainframe with 4 screws. (Fig. 3)
OPERATION
COMMISSIONING
Ensure that the mains voltage agreed with the data on the nameplate.
Use an extension cord to connect your device (extension cord is not included).
STARTING AND STOPPING
Filling funnel must be empty.
1. For starting press I.
2. For stopping press o. After stopping the device coasts.
START-UP
Push the key on the interlock switch to the position (Fig. 5).
Firmly tighten the knob. (Fig. 4 cc)
Connect the power cord. (Fig. 6 aa)
Press the green button „I“ (Fig. 4 aa)
to start the shredder, the blade rotates in a clockwise direction.
Put the branch into the feeding funnel. (Fig. 6 bb)
DEBRIS BAG DISCHARGE
Press the red button (Fig. 4 bb) to stop the shredder.
Pull down the key on the interlock switch. (Fig. 7)
Pull out the collecting box. (Fig. 8)
OVERLOAD PROTECTION
When crashing roller is blocked, for example by too strong branches the machine automatically
stops. After cooling the engine, press the black button (Fig. 4 dd) and start the device again.
BLOCKING OF RE-START
After a power outage, then the device is not automatically re-started after the voltage. For
starting press I. (Fig. 4 aa)
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• When shredding, keep a safety distance from the machine because the long branches may
shoot during drawing into.
• For safety reasons the device does not work unless the collecting box is properly placed.
• When placing the branches into the machine, hold the branches at a safe distance from
the filling hole until they are automatically drawn into.
• Follow the possible operating speed and do not the machine overload.

• To prevent clogging, during shredding alternate wilted garden waste, which lay several days
in the garden and thinner branches with large branches.
• Before shredding remove the remains of soil and stones from the roots.
• Do not shred soft and wet material, such as for example kitchen waste, but compost it directly.
• Save a few dry branches to be used as a tool for cleaning of the device.
• Stop the machine only after all material held knife plate. Otherwise, the knife plate can be
blocked when restart the machine.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Work which is not specified in this manual can berformed only by authorized service
center. Use only original spare parts. Wearing a pair of garden gloves (not supplied)
turn the blade. Before starting any maintenance work stop the shredder, disconnect
from the mains and wait until the blade has stopped rotating before proceeding.
GENERAL CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE WORK
• Do not squirt the shredder by water.
• The device, wheels and ventilation slots always keep clean. Clean only with a brush or a soft
cloth and never use any solvents or cleaners.
• Before each use make sure that the device is not damaged, eventually protective equipment
is not damaged, and pay attention to the free and worn components.
• Check the firm tightening of all nuts, bolts and screws.
• Check covers and protective equipment for damage and correct position. Replace if necessary.
• Store the device in a dry place and away from children.
• Do not wrap the device in the non-breathable material as this could lead to moisture formation.
CLEARING A BLOCKAGE
1. Press the knob (Fig. 4 cc) and unplug the mains plug. Turn the knob until the housing cover
is released and lift the housing cover.
2. Remove the objects blocking the shredder and clean the inside of the housing if necessary.
3. Close the housing cover and secure by tightening the knob. (Fig. 4 cc)
SHARPENING, TURNING OR REPLACING THE BLADES
1. Shut down the shredder and disconnect the plug from the mains.
2. Press the OFF switch and unplug the mains plug. Turn the knob until the housing cover is
released and lift the housing cover.
3. Loosen both bolts using (Fig.9 aa) a hexagonal key. The blade has a double sided cutting
edge. When the cutting edges become blunt, the blade can be turned over.
4. Remove the blade (Fig.9
bb) and rotate it 180 ˚, so that the blade was replaced neopotřebované
butt and change the contact area with the blade plate. When both sides are dull knives,
replace them with new or have sharpened in the workshop. Both knives do well to maintain
the balance of the blade.
5. Screw the knife again and check the correct position and tighten screws.
