Methods of resolution
The normal protectionsof the air-conditioner
1.Compressor protection
The compressor willnot restart within 3 minutes afterstop operating
the heating operationjust starts frost dissolving operation
operating under lowtemperature
Cold wind prevention(heat pump type )
Non-air-conditioner trouble
In the heatingmode, the indoor unit won tsend wind oroperate in low wind ,if theheat
exchanger of indoorunit has not reached the stipulatedtemperature in thefollowing
three states, soas to prevent the cold wind.
,
Frost dissolving operation(hot pump type )
The fan of the indoorand outdoor unit will stop underfrost dissolving operation.
The time for frost dissolvingvaries in range of 4 to10 minutes accordingto the out-
door temperature andthe frost condition.
It is normalphenomenon that there may be steamcoming out fromthe outdoor unit
during the frostdissolving operation.
When the temperatureis low and humidity is highoutdoors, the heatexchanger of
outdoor unit mayfrost, which may decrease the heatingcapacity. In such case, the air-
conditioner will stopthe heating operation and convert toautomatic frost dissolving,
and then resumeheating after the frost dissolving finishes.
,

8
When the outdoortemperature falls, the heating capacity decreaseaccordingly because the
heat absorbed fromoutdoors decreases (See the figure atthe right). At the same time, the
temperature difference between indoors andoutdoors is enlarged, so thatthe heating load
increase accordingly. If the air-conditioner can not reach a satisfactoryeffect, it is
recommended that otherheating devices be used together.
2.White steam comesout from the indoor unit
During the coolingoperation ,under high relative humidity indoors, white steam may come
out due tothe high humidity and temperature difference of airinlet and outlet.
The air-conditioner convert to heatingoperation after thefrost dissolving, the moisture
(due to frostdissolving) is discharged in formof steam.
3.High noise duringoperation
4.Dust is blownout from the indoor unit
5.The peculiar smellemanates from indoor unit
6.Cooling /Heating (notfor cold wind type) operation convertsto only wind mode.
7.If you selectthe cooling operation in a relativelydamp environment (relative humidity
is higher than80%),dew may be formed over thesurface of indoor unit and drop.In such
a case, pleaseadjust the vertical wind vanes toits maximum ventilation position(i.e.,close
to the positionnormal to the horizontal direction)and choose to improve thedew
phenomenon.
high
When the air-conditioner is used the first timeafter being leftunused for a long time, the
dust inside theindoor unit will be blown out.
The s ell which absorbed from room, furniture, clothing or cigaretteemanates during the
air-conditioner is operating.
m
When the indoorunit reaches the stip lated temperature, theair-conditioner will stop the
operation of compressorand convert to only wind mode. The compressor will restart
cooling or heatingafter the room temperature rise ordrop to a certain degree.
u
When the compressoris operating or just stops operation, fizzle may be heard because of
the refrigerant flowor stop flowing.
After the air-conditioner operates or stops for awhile, crackle fromthe naturel expansion
and contraction ofthe plastic components may be heardbecause of temperature variation.
When the air-conditioner is energized for thefirst time, sound from friction maybe heard
because of therotating of wind wave.
8.Heating operation (heatpump type )
During the heatingoperation ,the heat pump of
air-conditioner operates with the principleof
absorbing heat outdoorand release heat indoor.

2.Use vacuum cleanersor water to clean the airfilter, then dry it ina dark and cool place.
3.Insert the upsideof air filter into the machineuntil being entirelyfixed, close the front
panel and tightenit.
After the air-conditioner is left unused for along period ,checkthe inlet andoutlet of
indoor and outdoorunit for any possible blockage, ifany, please clean it.
Before the air-conditioner will be left unused fora long period, please make the
following preparation.
For the purposeof safety, please turnoff theair-conditioner and cut off the power supply
before cleaning.
If the airfilter is cover by dust, thecooling effect will be decreased. Please regularly
clean the airfilter.
1.Raise up thefront panel of indoor unit untilit suddenly stops;then raise up the protruded
part of airfilter and pullit out downwards.
Don t usededusting products by chemicals or placeclose to themachine.
3.The panel ofindoor machine may be taken off. Dry itafter cleaning withwet cloth.
2.If the indoorunit is very dirty, please wipe withwet cloth dippedby cold water.
