FCC compliance: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B
digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable
protecon against harmful interference in a residenal installaon. This equipment generates, uses
and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instrucons, may cause harmful interference to radio communicaons. However, there is no
guarantee that interference will not occur in a parcular installaon. If this equipment does cause
harmful interference to radio or television recepon, which can be determined by turning the
equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the
following measures:
—Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
—Increase the separaon between the equipment and receiver.
—Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is

FCC Condions
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operaon is subject to the following two
condions:
1. This device may not cause harmful interference.
2. This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause
undesired operaon.
EU Conformity Statement
● The working temperature of the device is from -30° C to 50° C .
● All the electronic operaon should be strictly compliance with the electrical safety regulaons, fire
prevenon regulaons and other related regulaons in your local region.
● Please use the power adapter, which is provided by normal company. The power consumpon
cannot be less than the required value.
● Do not connect several devices to one power adapter as adapter overload may cause over-heat or
fire hazard.
● Please make sure that the power has been disconnected before you wire, install or dismantle the
device.
● When the product is installed on wall, the device shall be firmly fixed.
● If smoke, odors or noise rise from the device, turn off the power at once and unplug the power
cable, and then please contact the service center.
● If the product does not work properly, please contact your dealer or the nearest service center.
Never aempt to disassemble the device yourself. (We shall not assume any responsibility for
problems caused by unauthorized repair or maintenance.)
● Do not drop the device or subject it to physical shock, and do not expose it to high electromag-
nesm radiaon. Avoid the equipment installaon on vibraons surface or places subject to shock
(ignorance can cause equipment damage).
● Do not place the device in extremely hot (refer to the specificaon of the device for the detailed
operang temperature), cold, dusty or damp locaons, and do not expose it to high electromagnec
radiaon.
● The device cover hall be kept from rain and moisture.
● Exposing the equipment to direct sun light, low venlaon or heat source such as heater or
radiator is forbidden (ignorance can cause fire danger).
● Do not aim the device at the sun or extra bright places. A blooming or smear may occur otherwise
(which is not a malfuncon however), and affecng the endurance of sensor at the same me.
● Please use the provided glove when open up the device cover, avoid direct contact with the device
cover, because the acidic sweat of the fingers may erode the surface coang of the device cover.
● Please use a so and dry cloth when clean inside and outside surfaces of the device cover, do not
use alkaline detergents.
● Please keep all wrappers aer unpack them for future use. In case of any failure occurred, you
need to return the device to the factory with the original wrapper. Transportaon without the
original wrapper may result in damage on the device and lead to addional costs.
● Please connect a resistor (included in the box content) to the doorbell if no electrical chime or
mechanical chime is connected.
● The power supply must conform to LPS. The recommended adaptor models and manufacturers are
shown as below. Use the aached adapter, and do not change the adaptor randomly.

Name Descripon
TF Card Slot For TF card. If a TF card is used, video files will be stored in the TF
card.
RESET Buon If the doorbell has not been acvated, hold the buon for
5 seconds to enter the Wi-Fi connecon mode. The call
backlight cycles blue and red.
If you do no operaon in 3 minutes the doorbell
will exit the Wi-Fi configuraon automacally.
If the doorbell has been acvated, hold the buon for 15
seconds to restore the factory sengs.
Make sure the power voltage across the doorbell should be between 16 VAC and 24 VAC.
(16 VAC to 24 VAC)

Remove the card slot cover, and insert the TF card into the card slot on the side of
the doorbell.
Moon detecon does not support recording without the TF card.

wall.

Operang Doorbell
● The messages will be pushed automacally by enabling Message Push
Noficaon.
● The App can receive the triggered alarm automically when the doorbell is
powered on by enabling Auto-Receive Alarm aer Powering on.
Scan QR code or input the serial No. of the doorbell.
- In the Home page of the Hik-Connect App, tap “+” on the upper-right
corner to add the doorbell.
- Scan the QR code or input the serial No. on the front panel of the
doorbell body.
Link the Hik-Connect account.
- Input the verificaon code of the doorbell in the pop-up page aer
acvaon.
This step is only necessary for adding the doorbell by inpung the serial No.
- Tap OK to finish adding the doorbell to the Hik-Connect account.
3Acvate the doorbell.
The acvaon page will pop up aer finishing the Wi-Fi connecon.
- Tap Set Device Password and input a password to acvate the doorbell.
- Tap Acvate in the next page to finish acvang.
The doorbell supports 3 kinds of Wi-Fi mode: 802.11 b only, 802.11 g
only, and 802.11 bg only.
2Connect Wi-Fi.
The network connecon page will pop up aer scanning the QR code of
the doorbell successfully.
- Tap Connect to a Network.
- Choose Wireless Connecon to set the Wi-Fi connecon.
Via the Hik-Connect App, you can realize some certain funcons of the doorbell
(including, but not limited to, live view, and remote playback).
Launch the Hik-Connect App and you can get the live view of the connected devices.
Live View
Press Call Buon on the doorbell.
You can accept the call via the Hik-Connect App, get the live view of the doorbell,
and capture the snapshots.

- Check the TF card status by tapping Storage Status in the Device Sengs
page.
- If the TF card status displays as Uninialized, tap to inialize it. The status will
then change to Normal. You can then start recording any event triggered
video in the camera of the doorbell such as moon detecon video.
Recording
Launch the Hik-Connect App, tap a connected device and tap Gallery to play
back.
Playback
Launch the Hik-Connect App and tap Message to see the alarm messages, such
as moon detecon alarm message.

Geng Started
Make sure you have connected the power cables for the doorbell.
Power on the main power switch of your home.
When the blue light is on, the doorbell is powered on.
Step 1 Power on the doorbell.
Step 2 Set the Hik-Connect App.
Step 3 Acvate the doorbell and add it to the Hik-Connect App.

Install Hik-Connect App and register a user account.
- Connect your mobile device to Wi-Fi.
- Download and install the Hik-Connect App by searching “Hik-Connect” in
App store or Google PlayTM.
Log in to the Hik-Connect App.
- Connect your mobile device to Wi-Fi.
- Start the Hik-Connect App, and input the Hik-Connect user account to log
in to the App.
- Launch the App and register for a Hik-Connect user account.
OR
- Loosen the screws on the rear panel of the doorbell, put loops of power
cables (included in the box content) into the screws, and then ghten them.
- Connect the power cables to the power connector (included in the box
content).
- Pull the power cables from the wall, and connect to the power connector.
● Make sure you have powered off the main power switch of your home.
● Connect a resistor (included in the box content) to the doorbell if no
electrical chime or mechanical chime is connected.

-Drill 2 holes on the wall according to
the mounng template.
-Insert the expansion tubes into the
drilled holes.

Step 4 Install the doorbell.
- Route the cables and insert cables and power
connector into the wall.
- Align the screw holes on the doorbell body with the
drilled holes on the wall.
- Fix the doorbell body to the wall ghtly with 2
screws.
- Put the faceplate to cover the doorbell body.
- Use 1 set screw to fix the faceplate with the
doorbell body ghtly.

- Input the Wi-Fi password that your mobile phone has connected to.
- Hold the reset buon for 5 seconds.
- Aer hearing the voice prompt “Start configuring Wi-Fi.”, tap Next in 3
minutes to start the Wi-Fi connecon.
