
User Calibration
If needed the scales can be recalibrated. Ensure that the scales is turned on and press the
“mode“ and „tare“–buttons and keep them pressed while the
scales is turned on „ “20” appears, let go the “mode”-button first and then the “tare”-button. Then
place a 20 kg-calibration weight on the scales. Confirm with the „mode“– button the calibration
weight. First „50“ appears in the display. Then place a 50 kgs calibration weight on the scales.
Confirm with the “mode”- button. In the display you will see “50” and then „PASS“ and finally the
normal weighing display. The scales is now calibrated . If „FAIL“ instead of „PASS“ appears then the
calibration is not correct and the display disappears.The calibration routine has to be repeated.
Important: The scales should not experience any movement or draughts!
Explanation of the special symbols
1. Switch-On
After pressing the “ON/OFF” key, can check if all segments are shown correctly.
The “zero” which then appears shows that the scales is ready for weighing.
2. Negative Weight Display
Press the “tare“ button again.
3. Overload
If the weight on the scales is heavier than the max. weight, then “O.Ld“ appears in the display.
4. Power Supply
If “LO“ appears, this means that the battery is used up
and has to be replaced.
This device corresponds to the requirements stipulated in 90/384/EEC. Note: Extreme
electromagnetic influences e.g. radio unit in the immediate vicinity may affect the displayed values.
Once the interference has stopped, the product can once again be used normally. This scale is not
legal for trade.
