Setup (continued)
Preparation (continued)
1. Unplug the lights
for installation
2. The 12 lights each have
a ‘keyhole’ [e] hang point
built into the top of the bulb,
please use this to secure
the lights to your structure.
Do not tie the main (black)
cable between the lights,
use the keyhole hang
point on each bulb only
3. If you plan to hang the
lights from a beam, every
6th light should be secured
(minimum 2 hang points)
4. When hanging on a guide
wire, each light should
have a hook or cable
secured to the guide
wire (12 hang points)
5. Bulbs must hang down
(as shown) for protection
from water ingress, do
not install bulbs with the
bulb facing up to the sky
6. Please consider the
hanging location and
avoid an area where the
bulbs may be subject to
repeating knocking against
walls or other items. This
will lead to breakage
7. The festoon string is not
intended for installation in
ceilings, eaves, cabinets,
or other enclosed spaces
ÁCable ties or S Hooks can be used for hanging– there is no
hardware included in this kit

after this time (turning solid red) and you can then use the mode
button on the Inline Controller to check they’re working
The lights won’t enter pairing mode (red flashing)?
Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the Inline Controller for 5 seconds,
you may need to repeat this 2-3 times. If this does not work, turn the
power on and off (at the power point) 3 times – on/off/on/off/on/off/on
How can I remove my lights from Holman Home?
Tap the pencil at the top right
of any page when you’re
in the Festoon light menu.
