Cleaning and greasing of the wedge and wedge blades
Recommanded is monthly or after every 10 working hours to keep your Holmatro Foudry Wedge in
optimal condition. 10h

Remove the wedge blades.

Start the pump. Set the pump switch to it’s
‘MAINTENANCE’ position.
Press the button, until the wedge is
extended completely. And switch
the pump to it’s ‘OFF’ position.

Remove the top and bottom covers.

Fasten the tumbler with help of the T-grips.

Then apply a good amount of
the Molykote BR-2 grease to the
sliding surfaces by using a brush.

Apply the anti-friction coating to
the sliding surfaces and let it set
for 3 minutes.

Start the pump, press the button,
until the wedge is fully retracted.
And switch the pump to it’s ‘OFF’
position.

Apply glue A130 to the bolts.

Clean the sliding surfaces of the wedge and
wedge blades.
Clean the plunger area.

Start the pump, set the switch to it’s ‘OPERATION’
position.

Now your Holmatro Foundry Wedge is ready for
use.

Loosen the tumbler with help of the T-grips.

Mount the top and bottom covers using an allen
key 5 mm.

Place both wedge blades (new) back into the
wedge.
