26. To disconnect, turn any control to “o”, then remove plug form wall outlet.

SHORT CORD INSTRUCTION
A short power-supply cord is to be provided to reduce the risk resulting
from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Longer
detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may
be used if care is exercised in their use. If a longer detachable power-supply
cord or extension cord is used:
1 . The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be
at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
2 . The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the
countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over, snagged, or pulled
on unintentionally by children or the user.

• POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To
reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to t into a polarized
outlet only one way. If plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not t contact a qualied electrician. Do not attempt to modify
the plug in any way.
HOW TO OPERATE
BEFORE FIRST USE:
1 . Unpack the appliance and all parts. Remove all packaging materials,
including any stickers or labels.
2 . Read these instructions carefully.
3 . Clean the interior surface of the appliance with a damp cloth. Wipe
dry with a soft cloth immediately. Do not use abrasive materials. Wipe
down the exterior with a soft dry cloth.
4 . NEVER IMMERSE APPLIANCE OR CORD IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
5 . Position the appliance on a stable, dry, level, heat-resistant surface near
an electrical outlet.
6 . Unroll the electrical cord.
7 . Operate this appliance on a separate outlet and circuit from other
appliances to avoid overloading the circuit.

CAUTION: The surfaces of the appliance get hot. To avoid accidental
burns, scalping, or steam being released while cooking, always open
and close the lid by using an oven mitt.
The included measuring cup has a piercing pin that is very sharp. Always be very careful
when using it, as it may cause injuries.
FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY
USING THE APPLIANCE:
1 . Make sure the knob on the appliance is set to “OFF” before you plug it in.
Remove the lid.
TO COOK 1-4 EGGS:
1 . Using the mark lines on the included measuring cup, pour about 80ml of cold
water into the electric plate.
2 . Place the cooking rack over the base of the unit.
3 . With the piercing pin located at the bottom of the measuring cup, pierce the
bottom side (large end) of each egg and place them on the cooking rack, with
the pierced bottom facing up. NOTE: piercing the egg is recommended to be
able to peel it easily. However, this is optional according to your preference.
4 . Place the lid on the appliance making sure that the steam exit holes are facing
away from you and turn the knob to the desired cooking degree. The indicator
light will turn green.
NOTE: The light ring around the knob will light up a specic color depending on
the cooking degree selected: Yellow for soft-boiled eggs, orange for medium-
boiled eggs, and red for hard-boiled eggs.
5 . The appliance will make a buzzing sound when it is nished cooking. When
that happens, turn the knob back to he OFF position.
6 . Remove the lid ONLY by the handle and remove the eggs immediately to
prevent overcooking. NOTE: be careful when removing the eggs, as they will

be very hot.
7 . As soon as you are nished cooking, unplug the appliance and allow it to cool
down.
TO COOK 5-8 EGGS:
1 . Using the mark lines on the included measuring cup, pour about 80ml of cold
water into the electric plate.
2 . Place the cooking rack over the base of the unit.
3 . With the piercing pin located at the bottom of the measuring cup, pierce the
bottom side (large end) of each egg and place them on the cooking rack, with
the pierced bottom facing up.
4 . Add the second cooking rack and repeat step 3.
5 . Place the lid on the appliance making sure that the steam exit holes are facing
away from you.
6 . With the knob on the “OFF” position, push the button on the knob, which
says PUSH 5-8 EGGS. The indicator light will turn red. Then proceed to turn
the knob to the desired cooking degree.
NOTE: The light ring around the knob will light up a specic color depending on
the cooking degree selected: Yellow for soft-boiled eggs, orange for medium-
boiled eggs, and red for hard-boiled eggs.
7 . The appliance will make a buzzing sound when it is nished cooking. When

CLEANING
Proper maintenance will ensure years of use of your appliance.
This appliance contains no user serviceable parts and requires little
maintenance. Clean the appliance after every use following these steps.
1 . After each use, use a damp cloth to rinse the heater plate
2 . Leftover water residue may dry up and calcify at the bottom of the
heater plate. This will NOT aect the cooking of the appliance. Should
you wish to remove it, you may soak it with water and a little bit of
vinegar.
3 . NEVER USE ABRASIVE CLEANSERS OR SCOURING PADS TO CLEAN THE
APPLIANCE , AS THOSE MAY DAMAGE THE SURFACES.
WARNING: The surfaces of the item will get very hot during use,
unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
CAUTION: DO NOT IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE, THE POWER
CORD OR THE PLUG INTO WATER OR ANY LIQUIDS.
STORAGE
1 . After following the steps for cleaning and maintenance, collect the
power cord.
2 . Store the appliance in a dry and clean place.

BREAKFAST EGG SALAD
INGREDIENTS
• 4 hard boiled eggs
• 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
• Salt and ground pepper
• 1/3 cup watercress, thick ends trimmed
• 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
• 1/4 avocado, diced
• 2oz sliced smoked salmon (about 2 slices)
• 2 slices whole-grain bread, toasted
DIRECTIONS
1. After you´ve boiled the eggs following the instructions of your
Egg Cooker, peel them and separate whites from the yolks. Save
1 yolk and chop the eggs whites into small pieces.
2. In a bowl, whisk together the mustard and the lemon juice.
3. Grate the egg yolk into the mustard mix and combine.
4. Stir together chopped egg whites and diced avocado and season
with salt and pepper
5. Place watercress, egg salad, mustard mix, and smoked salmon
on toast to your liking.
6. Serve and enjoy!

BACON AND EGG SANDWICH
INGREDIENTS
• 1/2 cup sour cream
• 2 boiled eggs, cut into thin slices
• 8 bacon strips
• 8 slices of bread
• 4 green onions, chopped
• 4 slices of cheese
• 2 tablespoons butter, softened
DIRECTIONS
1. Spread sour cream over bread slices
2. Top with onions, cheese, eggs, and bacon. Add other slice of
bread.
3. Spread butter on the outside of breads.
4. Toast sandwiches until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
5. Serve and enjoy!

• CABLES DE EXTENSIÓN
Se provee un cordón eléctrico corto para reducir el riesgo de enredarse o
tropezar con un cable/cordón largo. Pueden usarse cables de extensión
más largos si se toman las precauciones necesarias en su uso. Si se usa
cable de extensión:
1 . Las características eléctricas del cable de extensión deben ser iguales o
superiores a las del artefacto.
2 . El cable debe colocarse de forma que no cuelgue para evitar que se pueda
tropezar, enredarse o tirar de el accidentalmente (especialmente por niños).

• ENCHUFE POLARIZADO
Este electrodoméstico tiene un enchufe polarizado (una pata del enchufe
es más ancha que la otra). Para reducir el riesgo de descarga eléctrica,
este enchufe está diseñado para entrar de un sólo modo en la toma
eléctrica. Si el enchufe no entra totalmente en la toma de corriente,
invierta su posición. Si aún así no entra, póngase en contacto con un
electricista calicado. No intente modicar el enchufe de ninguna manera.
FUNCIONAMIENTO
ANTES DEL PRIMER USO:
1 . Desempaque cuidadosamente el artefacto y todas las partes. Retire
todos los materiales de embalaje, incluyendo las etiquetas.
2 . Lea las instrucciones de uso cuidadosamente.
3 . Limpie las supercies interiores y exteriores del artefacto con un
paño húmedo. Luego seque con un paño suave de inmediato. No use
materiales abrasivos.
4 . NUNCA SUMERJA EL ARTEFACTO O EL CABLE EN AGUA U OTROS
LÍQUIDOS.
5 . Coloque el artefacto en un lugar estable, seco y resistente al calor.
6 . Desenrolle el cordón eléctrico.
7 . Utilice este artefacto en un toma corriente separado de otros artefactos,
para evitar la sobrecarga del circuito

PRECAUCIÓN: Las supercies del artefacto se calientan. Siempre abra
y cierre la tapa utilizando un guante de cocina para evitar quemaduras
mientras cocina.
SOLO PARA USO DOMÉSTICO
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO:
1 . Asegúrese de la perilla esté en la posición “OFF” antes de enchufar el arte-
facto. Quite la tapa.
PARA COCINAR 1-4 HUEVOS:
1 . Utilizando el vaso medidor incluido, coloque aproximadamente 80ml de
agua fría en el artefacto.
2 . Coloque la bandeja de cocción sobre la base de la unidad.
3 . Con el perforador localizado en la parte de abajo del vaso medidor, per-
fore la parte de abajo de los huevos (la parte grande) y colóquelos en la
bandeja de cocción, con el agujero hacia arriba. NOTA: perforar el huevo
es recomendable para facilitar pelarlo. Sin embargo, esto es opcional en
dependencia de su gusto.
4 . Coloque la tapa en el artefacto asegurándose de que los hoyos de salida
de vapor están opuestos a usted y gire la perilla al nivel de cocción
deseado. La luz indicadora se prenderá de color verde. NOTA: El aro
alrededor de la perilla se prenderá de un color especíco de acuerdo al
nivel de cocción seleccionado: amarillo para huevos suaves, naranja para
huevos medio y rojo para huevos duros.
5 . Cuando los huevos estén listos, el artefacto hará un sonido como un
zumbido. Cuando esto ocurra, gire la perilla la posición “OFF”.
6 . Remueva la tapa levantándola UNICAMENTE por la manilla y remueva
los huevos inmediatamente para evitar que se cocinen de más. NOTA:
tenga cuidado cuando remueva los huevos, ya que estarán muy calien-
tes.

7 . Tan pronto haya terminado de utilizar el artefacto, desconéctelo y
déjelo enfriar.
PARA COCINAR 5-8 HUEVOS:
1 . Utilizando el vaso medidor incluido, coloque aproximadamente 80ml de
agua fría en el artefacto.
2 . Coloque la bandeja de cocción sobre la base de la unidad.
3 . Con el perforador localizado en la parte de abajo del vaso medidor,
perfore la parte de abajo de los huevos (la parte grande) y colóquelos
en la bandeja de cocción, con el agujero hacia arriba.
4 . Coloque la segunda bandeja de cocción y repita el paso 3.
5 . Coloque la tapa en el artefacto asegurándose de que los hoyos de
salida de vapor están opuestos a usted.
6 . Con la perilla en la posición “OFF”, presione el botón que está en la
perilla, que dice PUSH 5-8 EGGS. La luz indicadora se prenderá de color
rojo. Luego proceda a girar la perill al nivel de cocción deseado. NOTA:
El aro alrededor de la perilla se prenderá de un color especíco de
acuerdo al nivel de cocción seleccionado: amarillo para huevos suaves,
naranja para huevos medio y rojo para huevos duros.
7 . Cuando los huevos estén listos, el artefacto hará un sonido como un
zumbido. Cuando esto ocurra, gire la perilla la posición “OFF”.
8 . Remueva la tapa levantándola UNICAMENTE por la manilla y remueva
los huevos inmediatamente para evitar que se cocinen de más. NOTA:
tenga cuidado cuando remueva los huevos, ya que estarán muy calien-
tes.
9 . Tan pronto haya terminado de utilizar el artefacto, desconéctelo y
déjelo enfriar.

LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
El mantenimiento adecuado asegurará muchos años con su artefacto. Limpie
el artefacto después de cada uso. Este artefacto no contiene piezas reparables
por el usuario y requiere poco mantenimiento.
1 . Después de cada uso, utilice un paño húmedo para limpiar la placa calen-
tadora.
2 . Residuos de agua se puede secar y causar calcicaciones en el fondo de la
placa calentadora. Esto NO afectará la función de cocción del artefacto. Si
desea remover los residuos, puede utilizar agua con un poco de vinagre.
3 . NUNCA USE LIMPIADORES ABRASIVOS PARA LIMPIAR EL ARTEFACTO, YA
QUE PODRÍAN DAÑAR LAS SUPERFICIES.
ADVERTENCIA: Las supercies del artefacto se calientan
extremadamente debido al uso, desenchufe el artefacto y permita
que se enfríe por completo antes de limpiar.
PRECAUCIÓN: NO SUMERJA EL ARTEFACTO, EL CABLE O EL
ENCHUFE EN AGUA U OTROS LÍQUIDOS.
ALMACENAJE
1 . Luego de seguir los pasos de limpieza y mantenimiento, recoja el
cordón eléctrico.
2 . Guarde el artefacto en un lugar seco y limpio.
