4 Notes on cleaning and maintenance
Thedeviceismostlymaintenance-free.Bypoorcoinacceptan-
ce,thecoinrunwayoftheelectronicmultiplecointestercanbe
cleanedwithadampclothorbrushto remove any dustor de-
posits. The metal casing can be cleaned with a damp cloth or
a cleaning agent which can be dissolved in water. Do not use
underanycircumstances, thinners, petrol,acetoneorscouring
cleaning agents.
2 Warranty
Onthefunctionofthedeviceisgrantedforaperiodof12months.
Thewarrantyislimitedsolelytotechnicaldefectsoftheunit,it
can´tbeacceptedfurtherclaims.Furtherapplyourgeneralterms
andconditions,standofJune2011,forproductsandservicesof
theelectricalindustry(ZVEI)-alsoseewebsite:www.holtkamp.
de.

Thecoinboxesarebuiltaccordingtothepriorartandthereco-
gnizedsafetyrules.
Nevertheless,itsusethreatstolifeandlimboftheuserorthird

8.1 Installation notes
Throughhighqualitymicro-electronicsisthedeviceabletore-
ach a high standard of reliability in the daily use. Only if the in-
stallation has been professionally carried out can the device be
guaranteed.

● Onlyauthorizedandqualiedelectricianscarryoutthein-
 stallationcomplyingwiththevalidVDE–regulations.
● Bythetimerswith230V~supplyvoltageisdenitelythe
 protectioncablerequired,bythetimers24V~(safetyex-
tra-low voltage) protecting grounding is needed as function
earth.
● Thattheoorcoveringisanti-staticandconductorcapable,
 toensureaminimumofstaticchangeandsoreducingthe
danger to the electronics.
● Amalfunctionorbreakdownofthedevicecanbecaused
 bytheswitchingsparksoftherelaycontacts.Toreducethese
 sparksappropriatesuppressioncombinationsmustbein-
 cludedparalleltotheprotectioncontacts.RCcombinations
 forsparksreducingareonlya󰀨ectivebydirectparallelswit-
ching of the relay contacts.

8.2 Mounting notes
● Thisdevicemayonlybemountedonasuitablesurface.
● Thedevicemustbesu󰀩cientlysecured,takeintoconsi-
 derationtheweightoftheinsertedcoins.Thereare6holes
 inthebackofthecasingtoaccomplishthemountingpro-
 cess.Screwsanddowelsareincludedbydelivery.
● Thedevicemustbemountedhorizontallyandverticallyto
 guarantee a awless function of the coin receiver.
 Thatmeanstheangleofthedevicecanonlybemaximum
 2°,slopingforwardorbackward,aswellastotherightor
the left.
● Thedevicemustbemountedperpendicularandhorizontal-
 ly,toavouchafaultlessfunctionofthecoinacceptance.
 Thatimplies,thetiltangleofthedevicecanonlybemaxi-
 mal2°forwardsorbackwardsandmaximal2°totherightor
left.
● Theinputcablesarexedbythreedrilledholesintherear-
 wall.ThedeviceiscorrespondingtoprotectiontypeIP20
 andmayonlybeusedindryrooms.Chooseacablecross
section of the feed line adequate big. Attend thereby the
connected electrical load. Attend to the VDE guidelines.
8.3 Mounting instructions
● Shutdownthepowerinput,byactivatingtheimmobilising
 switch,thefuseoreventhemainsafetyfuse.
● Unlockandremovethecoinbox
● Loosenthetwoscrewsofthefuseplate,removethefuse
plate and raise the casing so that it is possible to pull out the
electrical connectors. Pull out the electrical plug connec-
 tionsandremovethecasingcompletely.
● Thewallplatehorizontalandverticallyalignwiththehelp
of a level.
The tilt angle can only be 2° now mark the drilled holes.
● Drilltheholesandinsertsuitabledowels.Throughtheholes
 “15”(seeimage1.1ofthedevice)ontherearwallconnect
up the electricity. With the appropriate screws secure the
 casing tightly. Now reinstall the electrical connections.
 Placethecasingonthexingbolts“14”.Asacountermea-
 sureplacethefuseplate,throughtheopeningoftheremo-
 vedcoinbox,onthexingbolts“13”andtightenwiththe
supplied screws.


8.4 Electrical connection
The electrical connection can only be carried out by
 authorizedandqualiedpersonnel!
TheelectricalconnectionhastobecarriedoutbythelocalVDE
regulations.Withapermanentconnection,anallpolemainsse-
parator with at least 3 mm contact gap must be used. Before
startingtheelectricthecorrespondingcircuitmustbedisconnec-
ted.
Shut down the mains input by activating the separator switch,
removethefuseorreleasethemainsafetyfuse.Mainsandlow
voltagecablemustbespacedapart.Lowvoltagecablesshould
be generally spaced as screened cables.

Control cable and remote start connection have to be
kept away from each other!


8.5 Operatingthersttime
IftheUNOisinstalledcompletely,youcantakeintooperationby
switchingonthecircuit.Assoonasthecircuitisactivated,appe-
arsinthedisplayaninformationabouttheoperationmodeofyou
UNOandabouttheusedsoftware.(e.g.HoltkampXL SoftX.x
T-TimerFree).TheMAXIisnowreadyforoperationandcannow
beprogrammedasyoulike.Toensure,thattheprogramminghas
beencorrect,youshouldmakeadetailedtestrun.Afterthistest
run all counters should be deleted to receive a correct account.
Pleasemakesurethatyouradjustedmaintimeisappropriated
tothesunbed.Donotchoosethemaintimetoolong,becauseof
thedangerofthesunbedcustomer.Usetheadjustmentsetting,
to limit the maximum time and therefore limiting the maximum
accountofbuyablemaintimetoreducetoaminimumthedanger
tothecustomer.
8.5.1 LED operating light
WiththeLEDoperatinglightonecansee,ataglance,theope-
ratingstandoftheUNO.Duringthepre-runtime:quickblinking;
maintime:permanentlight;run-outtime:slowblinking.

March 2003 110% disconnection After norm EN 60335-
2-27/A11 (VDE 0700 part 27) Beginning with 01 may
2003 all our XL devices are equipped with the dis
connection recommended by the upper mentioned di-
rections.
EN60335-2-27 The PCB of UNO is provided with a 110%-dis-
connection.Itmeans,thatanemergencystoptimeriscontrolled
by a third relay on the PCB. It guarantees the switching o󰀨 of
thesunbed,ifthemainrelayisnotswitchingo󰀨once,afterthe
expiredtime.

Explanation of programming positions
Thereare5variousmenusintheprogrammingmodeoftheUNO
7600/XL:theTime/price menu,theClock menu,thecongura-
tionmenu,theSummer-/wintertime menu and the Bus con-
guration menu.Youcanleafthroughforwardandbackwardthe
paricularprogrammingpositionsinasmartpassage(autorepeat
function).Youmustinsertthemastercardatrst.Calluptheres-
pectivemenuwithPROGbutton.Isdesiredasmartleafthrough,
youmustactuatetheNEXTbuttonpermanent.
Ifthebuttondepressed,itwillleafthroughforwardinthemenu.
With a short actuation of NEXTbutton(atleast300ms/atmost
850ms)youcanleafthroughbackward.Ifyouactuatedthebut-
tonshortinadvanceandleafthroughbackward,theautorepeat
takesplacebackward.WithashortpushoftheNEXT button you
canleafthroughforewardagain.Whichprogrammingpositions
youndinwhichmenuandwhatitmean,willbeexplainedinthe
following chapters.
