1 Introduction
Yo have made an excellent choice in p rchasing a
HOLZSTAR Circ lar Table Saw.
Carefully read the operating instructions priorto
commissioning.
They describe correct commissioning, intended se and
safe as well as efficient operation and maintenance of
the Circ lar Table Saw.
The operating instr ctions form part of the Circ lar Table
Saw. Always keep them at the Circ lar Table Saw loca-
tion of se. Please also observe the local accident pre-
vention reg lations and general safety reg lations for the
se of the Circ lar Table Saw.

2 Safety
This section provides an overview of all important safety
packages for personal protection as well as safe and re-
liable operation. The individ al sections contain additio-
nal, taskspecific safety information.

Safety
Tips and recommendations
Observe the safety information in these operating in-
str ctions to minimise the risk of personal inj ry as well
as material damage and prevent hazardo s sit ations.
2.2 Personal protective equipment
Personal protective eq ipment is intended to protect the
health and safety of persons at work. Staff m st wear the
personal protective eq ipment indicated in individ al
sections of these operating instr ctions when carrying
o t the different tasks on the machine.
The personal protective eq ipment is described in the
following section:
2.3 Operator responsibility
Operators are defined as the persons who operate the
machine for commercial or profit-based p rposes or pro-
vide the machine to third parties for se or applica-tion
and bear the legal prod ct responsibility in terms of the
protection of sers, staff or third parties d ring operation.
Obligations of the operator:
If the machine is sed for commercial p rposes, opera-
tors are s bject to the legal stip lations in terms of occ -
pational safety. For this reason, the safety instr ctions in
these operating instr ctions as well as the safety, acci-
dent prevention and environmental protection reg lati-
ons valid at the installation location m st be complied
with. In this process, the following shall apply in partic -
lar:
- Operators shall obtain information abo t valid occ -
pational safety reg lations and determine addi-tio-
nal hazards as part of a risk assessment which re-
s lt from the specific operating conditions at the
machine's installation location. Said risk as-
sessment shall be reflected in operating instr cti-
ons for machine operation.
- D ring the entire machine operating time opera-
tors m st check whether the operating instr ctions
they created meet c rrent standards and adapt the
operating instr ctions where necessary.
- Operators shall clearly manage and specify the re-
sponsibilities for installation, operation, tro bles-
hooting, maintenance and cleaning.

Ear and head protection
The ear protection protects against hearing damage
d e to noise. The ind strial helmet protects the head
against falling objects and knocking against fixed
objects.
Eye protection
Protective glasses protect the eyes against pro-jected
parts and splashes of liq id.
Protective gloves
Protective gloves protect the hands from com-
ponents with sharp objects as well as friction, abra-
sion, and deep-c t inj ries.
Safety boots
The safety boots protect the feet against cr shes, fal-
ling parts and slipping over on slippery nder-gro nd.
Protective clothing
Protective work clothing means tight-fitting clothing
with low tear resistance.

- Operators m st make s re that all persons hand-ling
the machine have read and nderstood these opera-
ting instr ctions. Operators m st also reg -larly train
staff and notify of the hazards.
- Operators shall provide staff with the req ired pro-
tective eq ipment and wearing the req ired pro-
tective eq ipment shall be mandatory.
Operators shall also be responsible for maintaining the
machine in a technically perfect condition.
For this reason, the following shall apply:
- Operators shall make s re that the maintenance in-
tervals described in these operating instr ctions
are complied with.
- Operators shall reg larly check that the safety
eq ipment is f lly f nctional and complete.
2.4 Operating staff qualification
The different tasks described in these operating instr c-
tions req ire different levels of skills in terms of the q a-
lifications of operating staff working with the machine.
Excl sively persons of whom it can be expected that they
reliably complete assigned tasks shall be a tho-ri-sed to
carry o t any tasks. Persons whose reactions have been
impaired shall not be a thorized, e.g. dr g sers, sers
nder the infl ence of alcohol or medication.
These operating instr ctions specify the following per-
sonal q alifications for the different tasks:
Operating staff:
Operating staff has ndergone an ind ction by the ope-
rator abo t the entr sted tasks and potential hazards re-
s lting from improper behavio r. Tasks which go bey-
ond normal operation may only be carried o t by the
operator if they are listed in the operation man al and
the operator has made him/herself familiar with them.
Specialist staff:
As a res lt of specialist training, expertise, experience
and skills in terms of the relevant standards and reg la-
tions, specialist staff is able to complete the tasks they
are entr sted with and independently identify hazards
and avert risks.
Manufacturer:
Certain work m st be carried o t by man fact rer spe-
cialist staff only. Other staff is not permitted to carry o t
this work. Contact o r c stomer service to have the work
carried o t.
2.5 Safety labels on the Circular Table Saw
The following safety labels and instr ctions are attached
to the Circ lar Table Saw (Fig. 1) and m st be obser-
ved.

If safety labels on the machine are damaged or missing,
this can ca se errors, personal inj ry and material da-
mage. The safety symbols attached to the machine m st
not be removed. Damaged safety symbols m st be re-
placed immediately.
As soon as the signs are not clearly visible and com-pre-
hensible at first glance, the machine m st be stop-ped
ntil new signs have been attached.
2.6 Safety devices
Chip guard
The chip g ard protects against accidental contact with
the saw blade and flying chips. The chipbreaker m st al-
ways be mo nted d ring operation.

Safety
Push stick
The p sh stick serves as an extension of the hand and
protects against accidental contact with the saw blade.
The p sh stick m st always be sed if the distance bet-
ween the stop profile and the saw blade is less than or
eq al to 120 mm.
2.7 General safety instructions
Please note the following:
- Use the g ards and sec re them sec rely. Never work
witho t g ards and get them working.
- Always keep the table saw and its working environment
clean. Ens re adeq ate lighting and ventilation.
- The table saw m st not be modified in its design and
sho ld not be sed for p rposes other than those fore-
seen by the man fact rer.
- Never work nder the infl ence of concentration-dist r-
bing illnesses, fatig e, dr gs, alcohol or medicines.
- Keep children and not with the table saw.Familiar
people away from their working environment.
- Do not p ll on the mains lead to p ll the pl g o t of the
socket. Protect the cable from heat, oil and sharp
edges.
- Eliminate dist rbances that affect safety immediately.
- Before each se, make s re that no parts of the table
saw are damaged.
- Damaged parts m st be replaced immediately to avoid
danger so rces.
- Do not overload the table saw! Yo work better and
safer in the specified performance range.
- Do not wear watches, rings or other jewelry and roll
back the sleeves before working with the table saw.
- Do not se the p mp in hazardo s areas or near flam-
mable liq ids and gases.
- Do not to ch the power pl g with wet hands.
- After switching off the working machine, the extraction
system will r n for another 3-4 seconds and then switch
off a tomatically. The resid al d st is s cked o t, as
req ired in the Hazardo s S bstances Ordinance. This
saves electricity and red ces noise. The extraction sy-
stem r ns only while the machine is being operated.
- For work in the commercial sector, a s ction system
m st be sed for s ction.
- Do not switch off or remove the extraction system or
d st extractor while the machine is r nning.
- Keep the floor aro nd the machine clean and free of
scrap, sawd st or oil to avoid the risk of tripping or slip-
ping.
- Only se original spare parts and accessories to avoid
possible risks and risks of accidents.
- Basically, the workpieces to be machined m st be free
of foreign bodies s ch as nails or screws.
- Sho ld it be necessary to work next to the machine, the
se of ear protection (headphones,Earm ffs, etc.) re-
q ired.

Do not disassemble protective devices on the table
saw. Remember the position (location) of the emer-
gency stop b tton so that yo can se it immediately
at any time.

Check the saw blade for cracks or missing teeth. Do

is firmly seated on the shaft.

Do not reach near the blade to remove any parts or
scrap while the saw blade is r nning.

Always se the blade g ard and p sh stick while
working on the table saw.
DANGE !
Never clean the table saw d ring operation.

When working with wood always wear a d st mask to
avoid health risks ca sed by wood d st.

3 Indended use
The table saw is designed excl sively for processing wood
and wood-like materials. Only original tools and accessories
may be sed. Depending on the c t and type of wood (solid
wood, plywood or chipboard), se the req ired saw blade.
The table saw is not intended for commercial se.
It m st not be operated in potentially explosive environ-
ments and the max. permissible temperat re m st not be
exceeded. It m st be operated with a s itable extraction sy-
stem.
Proper se also incl des compliance with all information in
this man al.
For str ct ral and technical changes to the sliding table saw
the company Stürmer Maschinen GmbH ass mes no liabi-
lity.
Claims of any kind d e to damage d e to improper se are
excl ded.
4 Residual risks
The machine is built according to the state of the art
and the recognized safety rules. Nevertheless,
individual residual risks can occur when working.
-Danger of inj ry to fingers and hands d e to the rotating
saw blade if the workpiece is handled improperly.
- Inj ries from the workpiece being ejected d e to incorrect
positioning or g idance, s ch as work witho t a stop.
- Health hazards d e to noise. When working, the
permissible noise level is exceeded. Be s re to wear
personal protective eq ipment s ch as ear protection.
- Inj ries d e to defective saw blade. Check the blade
reg larly for integrity and before each se.
- Danger d e to electricity, the se of improper electrical
connection cables.
- When sing special accessories, the operating
instr ctions enclosed with the optional accessories
m st be observed and read caref lly.
- Resid al risks can be minimized if the safety
instr ctions and the intended se, as well as the
operating instr ctions are observed as a whole.

Never let the table saw r n nattended. Always
switch off the machine as soon as yo leave yo r
workplace.

Always switch off the machine and disconnect the
mains pl g if yo want to clean or replace the saw
blade.

- Never bypass or override the safety devices.
- Never work on other materials than specified in the

condition.
- Never work on several workpieces at the same time.

6 Transport, packaging, storage
6.1 Delivery and transport
Check the Planer-Thicknesser for visible transport da-
mage pon delivery. In case of visible damage to the Cir-
c lar Table Saw, immediately notify the carrier or yo r
retailer.
Transport with forklift truck/pallet truck:
For shipping, the box-packed machine is delivered on a
pallet so that it can be transported with a forklift or pallet
tr ck.
6.2 Packaging
All sed packaging materials and packaging aids of the
Planer-Thicknesser are recyclable and generally need to
be transported to the material recycling.
The films are made of polyethylene (PE) and the phol-
stery parts are made of polystyrene (PS). These materi-
als have to be delivered to a recycling station of the re-
sponsible d mping company.
6.3 Storage
Thoro ghly clean the Circ lar Table Saw in a dry, clean
and frost-free environment. Cover the machine with a
protective tarpa lin.
Storage and transport temperat re range:
-25 ° C to + 55 ° C.

Fail re to observe the weight of the device as well as
the safe working load of the lifting means d ring
trans-port or lifting operations, can tilt or topple the
nit.

weight of the machine and also the safe working
load of the lifting device.

fect condition

When lifting and transporting, make s re that there
are no persons in the danger zone who co ld be inj -
red by falling or tilting the machine! Do not lift the
machine at the infeed and o tfeed table!
NOTE!

appropriate means against excessive vibration and
moist re.

9 Set up before commissioning
9.1 Requirements for the installation site
The circ lar table saw m st be set p stable on a level and
firm gro nd. It is important to ens re that there is s fficient
freedom of movement. The site sho ld meet the following
criteria:
- The s bstrate m st be level, firm and vibration-
free. Sec rely sec re the machine to the gro nd
with bolts. Use the holes on the machine feet for
this p rpose.
- The erection or working space m st not exceed +
40 ° and sho ld not fall below + 5 °.
- Do not operate machines that ca se d st and
chips near the machine.
- There m st be s fficient space for the operating
personnel, for material transport as well as for ad-
j stment and maintenance work.
- The site m st have good lighting (500 l x).

ATTENTION!
Danger of inj ry d e to a machine that is not stably er-
ected! Check the stability of the machine after setting
it p on a level and stable s rface.
ATTENTION!
Some metal parts can be sharp-edged. Check all me-
tal parts to avoid inj ry.
ATTENTION!
Pay attention to the weight of the machine! The ma-
chine may only be set p by two persons. Check the
aid accordingly for s fficient dimensioning and load
capacity.

- There m st be a s ction device with min. 690 m3 /
h extraction capacity, min. 20 m / s flow velocity at
the s ction connection; Hose diameter 100 mm,
max. Length 4 m.
- Before commissioning, the machine m st be con-
nected to an extraction system with a flexible,
flame-resistant s ction line. The extraction m st be
switched on a tomatically when switching on the
table saws. When the machine is switched on, the
extraction system starts a tomatically after a 2-3
second start- p delay. An overload of home sec -
rity is prevented.
9.2 Montage der Circular Table Saw
Use the following steps to make the machine operatio-
nal.
Assembly of the substructure
Step 1: Assemble the pper case to the lower case as
shown in Fig re 6.

Mount side workbench
Step 1: Loosely screw on the extension table on the side
of the saw, align and center it, then tighten the
screws nderneath and to the side of the table.
Check the centering at the corners and the flat
alignment of the s rface on the main table with
the aid of wooden blocks and spirit level, then
tighten all screws of the worktable.

CAUTION!
Risk of inj ry d e to a machine that is not stably er-
ected!
Check the stability of the machine after placing it on
stable gro nd.
DANGE !
Some metal parts can be sharp-edged. Check all me-
tal parts to avoid inj ry.
CAUTION!
Pay attention to the weight of the machine!
The machine may only be set p by two persons.
Check the aid accordingly for s fficient dimensioning
and load capacity.
ATTENTION!
To ens re s fficient stability of the machine, it sho ld
be screwed to the gro nd. There are 4 holes on the
machine ho sing for this p rpose.

The workbench is heavy. For yo r safety, ens re that
yo have s fficient aids and s pport.

Set up before commissioning
Mount the stop guide rail
Step 1: Insert the hexagon bolts into the main table and
extension tables. Loosely screw on 2 n ts on
each hexagon screw.
Step 2: Screw in the screws in the stop g ide rail approx.
4 - 5 t rns.

Mount rip fence
Step 1: Loosen the star knobs of the rip fence and p sh
the carrier onto the g ide rail.

Step 2: Using the handle, loosen the screw to g ide the
parallel stop and slide the parallel stop into the
screw of the carrier.

Step 1: Introd ce the angle stop into the groove provided
on the sliding table and tighten with the twist

Step 1: Screw the exha st port at the bottom of the back
of the machine with 4 M6x12 Phillips screws,
washers, and n ts (n ts on the inside).

Step 3: Screw the hose g ide to the back of the steel ta-
ble with 2 M6x20 hexagon bolts, washers and

Step 1: Attach the 30mm s ction hose to the saw blade
g ard with a hose clamp, then insert the hose
into the hose g ide. Make s re that the hose
r ns freely and that there is eno gh clearance
to the work s rface.
Step 2: Attach the other end of the s ction hose to the
s ction connection on the machine ho sing
with a hose clamp.

Electrical connection
Step 3: Attach the 100 mm s ction hose to the s ction
connection on the machine ho sing with a hose
clamp. Attach the other end of the s ction hose with
a hose clamp to the intake manifold of the extraction
system.
9.3 Connection of the extraction system
For the proper f nctioning of the machine an extraction
eq ipment is req ired:
- with a minim m capacity of 570 mm3 / h and mini-
m m velocity of the air in the lines eq al to 20 m / s for
dry particles.
- with a minim m capacity of 790 mm3 / h and mini-
m m velocity of the air in the pipes eq al to 28 m / s
for wet particles.
- The hose connection or the pipe for connecting the
o tp t sho ld be cond ctive and electrostatically eart-
hed (resistance less than 106 Ω).
Switch on the machine drive and the extraction system at
the same time! Use flexible s ction hoses with a diame-
ter of 100 mm and for s ction at the saw blade g ard 30
mm.
10 Electrical connection
The installed electric motor is connected ready for se.
The connection complies with the relevant VDE and DIN
reg lations.
The c stomer's power s pply as well as the sed
Extension cables m st comply with these reg lations.
Important instructions
The electric motor 230 V / 50 Hz is for mode S6 / 40%
(400 V / 50 Hz S6 / 15%). If the motor overloads, it a to-
matically switches off.
After a cooling time (different in time) can be
t rn the engine back on.
Damaged electrical connection cables
Eccentric connection lines often ca se ins lation
damage.
Ca ses are:
• Press re points when connecting cables are led
thro gh windows or door gaps.
• Kinking d e to improper attachment or g idance of the
connecting cable.
• Interfaces by passing over the connecting cable.
• Ins lation damage by tearing o t of the wall socket.
• Cracks d e to aging of the ins lation. S ch defective
electrical connection cables m st not be sed and are
life-threatening d e to the ins lation damage.
Check electronic connection cables reg larly for
damage. Make s re that the connecting cable is not
connected to the power s pply when checking. Electrical
connection cables m st comply with the relevant VDE
and DIN reg lations. Only se connecting cables
marked H07 RN.
An imprint of the type designations on the connecting
cable is mandatory.
AC motor
• The mains voltage m st be 230 Volt / 50 Hz.
• Extension cables m st have a cross-section of 1.5 mm
p to a length of 25 m and a minim m of 2.5 mm over a
length of 25 m.
• The mains connection is protected with 16 A delay.
Three-phase motor
• The mains voltage m st be 400 V / 50 Hz.
• Power s pply and extension cable m st be 5-wire. 3P *
N * SL
• Extension cables m st have a minim m cross section
of 1.5 mm.
• The mains connection is connected with max. 16 A
sec red.
• When connecting to power s pply or relocation, the
direction of rotation m st be checked; if necessary, the
polarity m st be exchanged with a CEE pl g.
Connections and repairs to the electrical equipment
may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
11 Assembly
Make the machine operational by following these steps:
- Unpack the saw and check for possible transport
damage
- The machine m st be set p stably, i. on a level and
non-slip s rface
DANGE !
To ens re s fficient stability of the machine, it sho ld be
screwed to the gro nd. There are 4 holes on the machine
ho sing for this p rpose.
DANGE !
Only se the machine with the s ction system
connected and switched on.
ATTENTION!
Before any maintenance conversion and installation
work on the table saw, the mains pl g m st be remo-
ved.
NOTE!
When npacking, make s re that there are small
parts of the machine inside the packaging.

11.1 Mounting the saw blade
Step 1: Remove the table insert (Fig.20) and loosen the
fixing screw of the saw blade.

Step 2: Place the saw blade on the flange and sec re it
with the screw. Pay attention to the correct
direction of the saw blade teeth (Fig.21).

11.2 Assembly and adjustment of the splitting wedge
Step 1: Adj st the riving knife so that its distance from
the saw blade is between 3 and 8 mm. To adj st
the splitting wedge, loosen the screw, bring the
splitting wedge into the correct position and
tighten the n t again.

Step 2: Check whether the riving knife with the table
insert is parallel to the saw blade (Fig. 23).

Step 3: Fit the cover (20) with ro nd head screw M 6 x
25, washer 6 and wing n t M6 to the splitting
wedge (18) (Fig.24).

11.3Assembly and adjustment of the
longitudinal stop
Step 1: Slide the lengthwise stop into the g ide groove
provided for this p rpose and fasten it with the
left-hand hexagon socket screw (Fig.25). First
set the longit dinal stop on the stop side in order
to align it exactly with the g ide rail to the saw
blade.

The longit dinal stop can be moved and rotated by
loosening and t rning the lower clamping screw (Fig.
26). It is also possible to se the stop on the left or right
side.

Inclined adjustment of the saw blade TKS 200 / TKS

Loosen the clamping lever (A, Fig.27) and t rn the
handwheel (B, Fig.27) to adj st the angle of the saw
blade. Tighten the clamping lever afterwards.

For c tting jobs over 120 mm, se the stop r ler with the
high stop side and with c tting widths less than 120 mm
with the low stop side. G ide the workpiece with the
enclosed p sh stick.
Cross sections
For transverse and ang lar c ts se the sliding carriage.

ATTENTION!
Observe the safety instructions!
The machine may only be commissioned with f lly
assembled protective and safety eq ipment. Before
commissioning, connect the machine to an exha st
system. The extraction hood m st be lowered onto
the workpiece d ring each work step. For hidden
c ts, remove the s ction hood. After this operation
mo nt the exha st hood immediately. The machine
m st be adj sted so that the tip of the highest
sawtooth is j st a little higher than the workpiece.
Before switching on the machine, all protective and
safety eq ipment m st be installed correctly. The saw
blade m st be able to move freely. Inspect the
workpiece for foreign objects (nails, screws, etc.).
Remove all foreign objects. Before switching on the
main switch, make s re that the saw blade is
mo nted correctly and the moving parts are smooth.
WA NING!
If yo have any do bt, have the machine set p by a
specialist. It's too dangero s to work on g esses.
NOTE!
The max. Height adj stment of angle work of 30 ° or
more, m st be red ced by 10 mm.
NOTE!
For safe and clean working, select a small saw blade
projection.
ATTENTION! ISK OF ENTANGLE-
MENT!
When working with the machine, gloves m st not be
worn!

13.1 Cutting wide workpieces
Width of the workpiece to be machined more than 120
mm. Tool: Circ lar saw blade for longit dinal c tting
Operation: Adj st the longit dinal stop according to the
intended workpiece width. Pay attention to sec re hand
rest. If narrow workpieces are separated by the c t, the
feed is carried o t in the tool area only with the right
hand or with the aid of a p sh stick. If there is a risk of
the workpiece jamming between the circ lar saw blade,
splitting wedge and stop, the stop m st be retracted to
the center of the saw blade or a short a xiliary stop m st
be sed. In the pict res, the pper s ction hood was
only hinted at, or omitted in individ al cases to show
operation or device more clearly. For all operations
shown, the pper extraction hood is req ired.

13.2 Cutting narrow workpieces
Width of the workpiece to be machined below 120 mm
Tool: Circ lar saw blade for longit dinal c tting
Operation: Adj st the longit dinal stop according to the
intended workpiece width. Advance the workpiece with
both hands, se the p sh stick in the area of the saw
blade and p sh the workpiece thro gh behind the riving
knife. For short workpieces from the beginning of the
c t, se the p sh stick for advancement.

13.3 Cutting edges and strips
Tool: Circ lar saw blade for fine c tting
Operation: Mo nt the longit dinal stop with a low
contact s rface or se the a xiliary stop. Advance
workpiece with p sh stick ntil the workpiece end
located in the area of the splitting wedge. Long
workpieces
Sec re against tilting at the end of the c tting process by
a table extension.

13.4 Setting Diagonal end stop
TKS 200 / TKS 254 E
The diagonal stop can be mo nted on the left or right
side of the saw blade in the T-slot. Diagonal c ts
between 90º and 45º can be made precisely d e to the
optional diagonal positioning. (Fig.32)
The diagonal positioning is made possible by the 90 °
orientation of the two bearing s rfaces of the stop.

NOTE!
Devices req iring connection to parts of the machine
m st be fastened with screws, with screw clamps
only makeshift connections can be made to

13.5 Cross cutting narrow workpieces
TKS 200 / TKS 254 E
Adj st the protective rail so that the parts of the
workpiece do not come into contact with the pward
rotating part of the saw blade. Only feed workpieces to
the saw blade with a cross stop (Fig.33).

13.6 Work with the help of the angle stop
TKS 200 / TKS 254 E
The angle stop can be inserted into the machine table T-
slots on the right or left side of the saw blade. Cross sec-
tions can be made by t rning the stopper at all angles.
The 90 ° milled angle stop is partic larly s itable for ex-
act miter c ts. See the example for c tting frames.

13.7 Suction
The se of a s ction system is essential. An extraction
system prevents the inhalation of d st and contrib tes to
a better machine operation.
Step 1: Connect one end of the enclosed s ction hose
(A) to the s ction connection of the saw blade
cover (B), and the other end of the hose to the 30
mm connection on the main s ction pipe (C).
Step 2: Then connect the s ction t be of a s fficiently di-
mensioned extraction system to the 100 mm
main s ction t be (C) of the machine.

Care, maintenance and overhaul/re-pair

- Remove the saw blade flange (31) and the saw blade
(32). Now assemble the new saw blade. When
mo nting the saw blade flange, pay attention to the
recess. After replacing the saw blade, check the riving
knife adj stment and refit the table insert (19) and
s ction hood (20).

14 Care, maintenance and overhaul/re-
pair
14.1 Care after working
Step 1: Remove the power pl g from the socket.
Step 2: Drain and clean the extraction device
Step 3: Clean the machine from sawd st and saw d st
with a dry cloth and / or compressed air (wear
protective goggles!). In partic lar, the g ide rails
m st be kept clean.
Step 4: Spray all npainted metal s rfaces with some
anti-r st spray.
Step 5: Check the machine for damage to the safety de-
vices and saw blade. If necessary, carry o t the
repair or arrange for it, observing the safety in-
str ctions.
Step 6: Check the machine reg larly for:
- Loose screws and n ts
- Worn or damaged switches
- Worn or damaged saw blade
- Worn or damaged blade g ard
14.2 Maintenance and repair / repair
Maintenance and repair work may only be carried o t by
q alified personnel.
If the Circ lar Table Saw does not work properly, contact
a dealer or o r c stomer service. The contact details can
be fo nd in chapter 1.2 C stomer Service.
All protection and safety eq ipment m st be reinstalled
immediately after completion of repair and maintenance
work.
DANGE !
Electric shock is life-threatening!
There is a danger of life in case of contact with c r-
rent r nning thro gh components.Electrical compo-
nents that are on can ca se ncontrolled movements
and lead to the most serio s inj ries.
- Always disconnect the mains pl g before yo start
cleaning and maintenance works.
- Connections and repairs of the electrical eq ip-ment
may only be carried o t by specialized elec-trical
staff.

Never se harsh cleaning agents for cleaning. This
can lead to damage or destr ction of the machine.

The bearings are closed and pre-l bricated. They are
maintenance-free for the normal life of the machine.
